I think we should do another poem
or
whoever wants to compete in this contest will get a furuba character given to them by you captain, and whoever makes and posts a dream avi that is closest looking to their character wins.
oooor
we could see who can draw the best picture of furuba
i think they'd be fun ^_^

i have an idea for the art one!!!!!! have the people in the guild votw for there favorite and the person with the most votes win!!! XDDD and i think the characters should be assigned XDDD that way its a challenge!!!!!!

I concur with you, brewers, about a contest making things more exciting. So, in a couple seconds or so, I came up with uber-lame-to-the-core contest ideas, but I figure they're worth a shot.
- Guess That Furuba Character!
[Wherein you must determine with the aid of one, two, or three clues
what random Fruits Basket character is being thought of by one
member. Whoever guesses correctly is awarded a prize and the
option of being the next "Simon" or passing it on to another member.
The clues would hopefully be less obvious than "has orange hair". The
less obvious, the harder guessing becomes, and maybe the higher
prizes]
- Fruits Basket Recipe Contest!
[Wherein each contestant concocts a culinary creation relating to a
Fruits Basket theme, e.g. a character, emotion, bond, et cetera.
Photos wouldn't have to be submitted (I know I most likely would
not), just the recipe itself in a clean, easy-to-read, and visually
pleasing format somewhere on GaiaOnline.]
- Make a Fruits Basket Scrapbook Page!
[Yes, this is inspired from the TokyoPop contest, but here each
contestant must create from one to three scrapbook page(s) built
around specified Fruits Basket theme, e.g. a character, emotion, bond,
et cetera. This would require scanning/photography/all that jazz.)
The winner of each contest would receive some prize (bragging rights, gold, items, *your prize here*), but whatever it be, may it be held subject to the will of the contest holder.
I wonder how you like these ideas...? I know they aren't so stellar, but I'll try harder in the future!
