You can still do your job as VC even if you don't have a Captain. That's the reason you are VC, to take the place of your Captain when he/he isn't there.
As for the Squad 1 thing, I don't know...
but, again, you can still do your job. ^.^;;
If you're bored, you can always go to Earth and see Yomiko get beat to a bloody pulp. Lol. XD
Or harass the Bounto that is in my restaurant [highly encouraged].
Or engage in a PRP with someone. ^.^

I'm not sure if you are ready for Bankai, but I can always train you in other aspects such as Kidou, Hakudou, and Zanjutsu.... Maybe I'll teach you some shunpo tricks... neutral
