This is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange.}~Well, I just finished the Fma anime, so I can actually talk about the ending now!! What did you people think of the ending? By this I mean the ending to the anime, as well as the movie. I personally hated both very much. -_- AND, I actually cried for like, 10 minutes while and after seeing the end. ~{Saruna-chan is Alphonse Elric's #1 fan.}~

I was disappointed, to say the least. I knew that there would be a cliffhanger ending (well because I knew there was a movie in the first place, and some people just had to give out spoilers on the site I was watching it on -_- ) but somehow I didn't really like Al losing his memories or the fact he was ten years old instead of fourteen.
I actually got caught up on the manga first before finishing the anime, so I was pretty excited about the Dante arc, it should have been in the manga as well. (That way I have a good excuse for liking the manga more) Yet, the ending was ruined in a way so that arc wasn't really liked too much compared to an arc that had a happy ending.
Other than that it was good. :3

This is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange.}~I thought it sucked that Edward had to make such a huge sacrifice in the end. -_- And then Al losing his memories of everything that had happened anyway in the end? Geesh, I thought that was horrible. -_- The two had been through enough already.... And even though she wasn't exactly one of my favorite characters, I felt bad that Dante got eaten. -_- After all that, that's what killed her? I mean, that was weird..... -_- *sighs* Well, now I have to watch the movie again this weekend to make me feel better about the ending. (Though it is nice to watch it again.) [And this time, I WILL HAVE ICE CREAM!!!] (my mom was going to let me eat ice cream to make me feel better but she forgot to buy it.... -_- this time she remembered though....). ~{Saruna-chan is Alphonse Elric's #1 fan.}~

I'm not really one of those fans who gets upset easily cause someone dies or something, cause in real life, that's how it goes, so I liked it.
I was, however sad because Ed was stuck in this world... it was sad... the movie made it a little better, but it was still sad, cause now both of 'em were stuck... I wonder at times if they'd ever get out....
What do y'all think?

It was the year 2005 and Ed's grandkids go to his apartment to wish him happy birthday. It's obvious they're all in Tokyo, and the kids look exactly like Ed, Al, and Winry when they were little. Somebody translated it on one forum. She said that the kids were coming from "Grandpa Al's" house to "Grandpa Ed's" (it said so on the paper the young Edward-looking kid was holding) But I can't take her word for it though. xp

Dx I can't really say I liked the ending... in fact, the only good thing (apart from the fact that Ed and Al get to be together) about it was the ending song lol
I didn't cry this time... but I have in other animes when certain things happened, and when someone spoiled it for me (long story lol) which made me have to cry about it more than once ftw!

It happens sometimes though... I spoiled Furi Kuri before watching the entire thing too, but I didn't really get that episode at first X'D I also spoiled Rizelmine & Lucky ☆ Star...... I think those are the only ones...
