When I dream, I am in full control of my own actions and everything. I taste, feel, even smell as if I was awake the only thing that makes it a dream is the fact that I am in a place I've never been with people I have never seen. I have had various dreams such as conflicts leading to a fight, nearly being killed, by gun. Relationships and just weird out of this world kind of things, that only pop up in ones imaginations.(I need to stop playing video games) Sorry if I went a little off topic but yes my mind does indeed react to my dreams.

Haha, oh yes. Most of my dreams are like little movies playing in my head while I'm sleeping. Generally, there's a "main character", NOT me, just like there would be in a movie. I can fastforward, rewind, pause, stop -- even redo a scene that I don't like. (like, if the hot guy dies, I can rewind it and make it so he doesn't~)

Sounds like you guys are lucid dreamers. I have had very few lucid dreams, I am almost never in control of what's playing out.

Except, occasionally, I'll be in my dream, but I wont see it from my eyes, it will be third-person. Also, the dream me usually looks nothing like the real me, but I still know its me.

Yes. But in all honesty, I think dreaming is the way your mind recovers and sorts through situations it can't always handle while you're awake. Kind of like when you're put on the spot with a presentation at school and you suddenly lock up? But then when you get home and relax you're fine and you go "Wow. I really should've said that."
At the same time, though... I honestly don't think that ALL dreams are serious and should be analyzed and dissected. Some dreams are just... dreams, you know? But that's just my opinion. =P
