I've always found it makes for a much more fun atmosphere when we know more than just the avatar that we're talking to.

So, as a way to get to know each other, let's see some friendly faces!

I'm flattered, thank you!
I've always believed that there are many types of beauty-- by no means do they all require 'soft features' wink

I model on occassion, but my primary focus has been on school, lately. I also do have a clothing label that's still in its infancy-- I hope to get more work done on both counts during the summer, but my betrothed and I need to save for a new place, so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to invest in my personal business endeavors.

That's very interesting. I know how that is, school can truly put quite a damper on things. I myself am I writer and plan sometime to get the book I am currently writing published, soon hopefully. Though I wish I could make clothing but I am not handy with a needle and thread nor sewing machine to be truthful. But I'm skilled with words, writing is my passion and addiction.

School only becomes more of a burden as it goes on. I'm at University and now that I'm in upper-division, I'll be making the switch into the Honors program for my field of study (Linguistics)-- so the next year or two will be even more busy as I do the research and writing for my thesis, then get it published.

My beautiful, lovely, delicious Kate!

I had thought there was plenty of me to go around, but he's turned out to be more demanding than I'd expected. D: But I did tell him a little about our future photoshoot and that he can sit in on it. He's selfish, but he likes to, ahem, operate a camera. Maybe we can work something out? Wink Wink? Ilu?

Off topic! When I post my next sewing update to EGL, I'll be including the blue striped skirt. I can't get any navy cord locally, though, so I'll need to order that later.

Drool. Well, you know I'm in no rush to receive them [being that I'm currently jobless], so maybe our original plan for a summer-time get together/payoff/pick up can be worked out after all? In addition, of course, to me meeting the lovely boy who has stolen your heart from me, and that photoshoot.

... I promise to be nice to him, too. Maybe.

The summer sounds good. Fingers are crossed that he'll get the job he applied for, but it means that I won't see him at all during the week (he'll be living on campus, working with kids until around 7 or 8PM M-F). More time to spend with you~ ;D

You can always sew one! It's cheaper than buying brand, and has a lot of satisfaction to it. (:

I'm a total beginner when it comes to sewing, but I enjoy making things for myself. I'm working on finishing up some really basic skirts right now, actually. Simple skirts and accessories are really easy to do.

As Spuntino suggested: Sewing! It's much cheaper and it doesn't take too much before you get the hang of it. There are a lot of resources on how to make Lolita items. smile

If you look in The Sewing Thread that I made, there are a number of links to tutorials, tips and other information. If you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them!
