This is me feeding the black and white ruffed lemurs, the are a pretty chilled troop and we are developing a public encounter with them, this is me acting as a member of the public.
A couple of out meerkats, I made a couple different feeders for these guys yesterday, both to feed out mealworms, one a ostrich egg with wholes in it, and one a stump with holes.
Edit...oh, on the big pic its pretty easy to tell which one is mum, her new babys are less than two weeks old, so not coming outside yet.
One of our ringtails looking at the log feeder I made, which we have just hung on one of thier islands (log feeder = log with holes to put in different brose and such for the animals to eat or play with)
Similar to above but futher away.
This is zuri one of our female girraffes, pic taken at the public feed.
Cyrano, of of our male rhinos, as you can se he has a couple scraps from where one of the girls has said...Not today...They girls decide when!
A cheeter during the cheeter chase, a chance for them to get a run and show some of thier speed.
But they always come back for thier nice juicy meet...and blood.
A few of our otters, they are a batchelor group, 3 bros, and 2 bros. I hope to build some enrichment for them too, though they were getting meaty piping yesterday (a small pipe the work to get meet out of), and there enclosure will have some enviromental modification happening soon
Example of why you dont mess with porcupines
