Okay agents, we're planning a little meet-up in zOMG! to get the GiB name back out there so people know we're real. What we need to know is WHEN people can make it on and WHO would like to join us. In your post, please mention when you'd be able to make it and if you would like to join in. We will be doing this on a weekend since that is when people have more free time.

We need to all get together on gaia messenger ahead of time and plan this out... like Okay... we all assemble at the spot ahead of time... and then iron magus logs on, and says GiB ASSEMBLE!
Then we all get on at once.
With nifty catchphrases.
Only problem is I'm on wireless, so my interbuttz are a bit slow.

i can be on almost anytime during the weekdays. saturday and sundays i have a goofy schedule.
we should also sort the escorts and the escorted.

Any night after about 9:30, or late Friday night, or any time Saturday works for me.
I'm CL10.0 with Medic set, and I just kept my crew alive through level 20. Suffice it to say I can escort anyone to Caruthers.
Here's my suggestion for our plan:
1. We gather in Barton
2. We divide into preset crews, one escort for 5 lowbies (if we have that many)
3. We make our way north through bass'ken to Old Aquaduct
4. TIM logs in AT Agent Caruthers, and we watch while he chews him out for being such a terrible agent.
Hopefully we can get it on video too, so we can publish it later XD

the escort route will be something like this:
a bit long, but it's the safest.

Twilight, that road leads right through a line of anchor bugs. However, their respawn is slower than the Saws, so it depends on how much the escort can take out before resting. I'd also advise caution on that road, as I see a lot of gift boxes running around on it in the Bass'Ken area. If I'm correct, some people may also be unable to go through that door from Barton, or directly from that crystal, so they may need an escort past the wolves at the bottom of Bass'Ken.
I'm able to get on during 7AM-6PM during week days. I may be able to help escort, but it depends on how much I'm lagging on the day of the meeting. If nothing else, I'll just catch up around the time of the meeting through a different route.

Well, if we take that route, we could just station sentries to kill the anchor bugs while we're moving. We'd also need one to cover giftboxes, and to keep the area around Caruthers clear of predapups.

I'm CL10, and I'd be happy to help escort, if I can make it. Combined uni and work may prevent that though.
It might not be necessary to station sentries - the escort can enter the next box alone and call out when it's clear. And I've never tried this before, so do the barriers at the gates preventing lower levels from passing through not work when you're in a crew with higher level people?

People can't pass the gates unless they have a high enough CL or have been through it on the other side.

let me show you my reasoning:
see the difference?
anyone under cl5.5 will be crushed if we take the alternate route.
the sea anchors are slow an weak, no big deal.
the giftboxes won't spawn as long as you stay away from the wind mill.
as for using barton to pass, im not sure. but the wolves will be very hard to get through.

The Anchor bugs may be slow, but they're stronger than the Saws. But, as I said, the saws respawn faster, so it does depend on the endurance of the escort. The P3s usually don't wander up around the top entry squares of the map, so people will usually be safe up to Caruthers. I can't say anything about the spot he's in, due to the occasional person dragging up commanders or something to that spot. Those wolves shouldn't be too hard to fend off as long as the escort is fighting them. Keep along the Barton Wall at the bottom as you're going through, though. And if anyone hasn't already, try to activate the Bass'Ken crystal if you pass it.
A few tips if people are going through Zen Gardens / Village Greens to get to him, though:
Try not to go at night if you're in Zen Gardens. The Ghost Lanterns spawn around that exit to Bass'Ken and they hit pretty rough on low CLs.
If you're still going through Village Greens, taking the top exit to Bill's Ranch is usually the safest way in. Otherwise you'll be escaping from a hoard of gnomes. The top exit is right along the main path, under a large group of fluffs. They shouldn't be much trouble. Watch out for Garlics, though.
