What sounds just grate on your nerves so much that it makes you feel almost insane?
1) The sound of someone chewing gum
2) The sound of a baby crying, but I'll probably get over that later in life
3) Snoring
4) People popping their fingers, neck, back, ect

2) Any rap music*
3) Loud music played after 10 pm
4) Loud music in general intruding on the peace (ie: from cars stare )
5) That annoying beeping sound computers make when something important has fried.
*Rap music is synced against the beat of the human heart and is naturally annoying. Some people are more susceptible than most.
@Azuna: Some people never like the sound of a baby crying, even parents. The purpose of it is to get adults to "make it better". I can actually tell you what most of my son's cries mean.

I have the same ones..and trains. I have them....And squeaking brakes. They make my teeth wobble.

5. The sound of dishes hitting together when you wash them
6. People fighting (arguements)
7. People that smack when they eat

1. Sytrofoam rubbing against something. Yeesh....
2. "Soulja Boy". This FAIL song is oddly popular here in my country. Makes no sense, and what's annoying is ALMOST everyone who has a stereo plays it. In short, IT'S MADNESS!!
3. Noisy crowds. It's tolerable, but when you can hear it through you headphones at full volume....
4. Flood of error messages. Sometimes, the "scripters" in Towns screw it so much that flash screws up. It releases a swarm of 20-30 error messages. Hearing the sound of it at less than a second interval each is...you get the picture.
That's about it. I've dealt with crybabies...part of the job. Not really a nuisance to me anymore.

1. Screaming children. ESPECIALLY in a theater, concert, or musical.(I cannot STAND those whose parents won't do anything about it. I didn't pay money to hear a kid scream; I paid to see the performance.)
2. Fingernails across dirty glass or chalkboard (unless I'm the one doing it).
3. On the same note (no pun intended) as #2, the chunks of rock in chalk when scraped across a chalkboard.
4. As with everyone else... Rap. Not music; word salad set to some techno-beat.
5. Any instrument or voice that is off-key or out of tune.
6. The bark of any dog smaller than a Shiba Inu. Yorkies and Chihuahuas especially.

Amen! When Raelin is upset, I give her one warning. "If you don't stop, I will take you outside and give you something to scream about!" (^_^) It worked for me and Oniichan when we was little... and my dad could be a pretty scary dude.

I do SORT OF like rap, it just depends on the song. Most of 'em I can't stand though.Eizoryu 6. The bark of any dog smaller than a Shiba Inu. Yorkies and Chihuahuas especially.
I do have a Chi, and her bark can be sort of annoying at times but I love her so much. ^^

@Azuna: I s'pose I can stomach some rap, like Good Charlotte's "Keep Your Hands Off My Girl" (punk/rap fusion). But it's those accursed annoying ones they always, always, always play at school dances! *points at Soulja Boy*
I'm not used to small dogs x> When my sis got a Yorkie, it annoyed me to no end (still does; prolly 'cause she's spoiled). I like my brother's Shiba, though. I actually had her trained in a few basic commands. I guess I just favor dogs in the size range of Shibas to German Shepards. lol

4) My parent's screaming (I get scared even if it's not at me)

6) The test of the emergency broadcast system on the radio (sounds like aforementioned fire alarm)
