Yeah. So this Subway job is drama city. We're on our 6th manager because our 5th got fired because she refused to pay 300 dollars for the pager that our 4th manager took with him when he got fired. Anyway, the 6th manager spied on our store a couple times and finally came a week ago to work. He said all we are is a bunch of backwards hillbillies that don't know what the hell we're doing. He said we weren't trained right. Dang, he even said the woman that trained him wasn't even trained right. Dang. Nice work, dude. Maybe you should go back to Baltimore before you find yourself punched in the face by one of fairly obese women working at our store...
I was offended. I've worked at that stupid sandwich place for almost 2 years. I think I know what I'm doing.

I would agree. I think he is just trying to go in there fighting. see he is the 6th manager. That means that he is now next on the choping block. And I think that it just means that he is going to give it one hell of a fight. However, going in there and yelling/insulting...not the best way to get a ship organized. See, he might be trying to pull you all together. Make sre that he has control and push through this mess. But...what he could actually be doing is split loyalties. People might quit, or try to get him fired. Another Key thing is background. I had a boss like that not long ago, he was exNavy. and he loved to jummp in there and give everyone a hard time. Didn't even matter if you were there taht day. You heard all about it. I ma not saying that you have a bad boss. I think he may turn out tobe really good. but he first needs to get his fear of losing this already uphill fight.
give him a month.; that is what I think is the best thing to do. Let him get used to the store. He can spy on it al he wants. However, if he starts making it into a dictatorship...(no talking just work!) then it is time to tell him to get lost. how's that?

Anyways, since he's your new boss, patience is what you need to have with him, but if you don't like him at all, put on a mask and let's beat his sorry manager butt ninja

He talked really nice to me. But somehow he's going around calling one of my best coworkers a compulsive liar. That ticked her off.
I dunno. I think I'm just going to do my job and leave him be. If he wants to mess with me---then I'll get involved.

that is a good idea. think about it. He is taling nice to you but getting at another. does devide and concur mean anything? I say let him be. tell everyone to just do their jobs and ignore him. Then you have nothing to worry about.

As long as you do your job according to your job description while adding value to your job by going beyond what is expected of you, you shouldn't have any concerns.
Sometimes we don't personally like the people for which we work but be professional, do your job and realise that they have been hired to do theirs.

The demonlady isn't going to get involved in Koshi's problem, she told me, because it's a mere human causing the problem. Now if we find out that new manager is a demon, she will be more than willing to take him out for you, Koshi.
