The Cove A little to the North of the Mansion lies the majestic cove, a sort of appendage from the sea. About a mile or so down the way is a rocky outcrop with steep cliffs overlooking the main beach front. While there are seagulls that seem to never leave the beach, you may also spot on occasion, strange sea monsters that guard the Haven from a distance, but the sandbars keep them in. Sometimes they may get curious and swim closer to shore. There's always a light breeze here. On a sunny day, it makes for a picturesque view. Not to say that when it's cloudy it doesn't....but do be careful... The Sea can be extremely harsh... Somewhere along the rocks is a cave that is deep and humid. what dwells in it still remains a mystery and only the brave dare to venture into the very depth of it.... **This is a RP Post Keep in Mind to be in Character! 3nodding **

As a break, Faris had left the library to enjoy his lunch overlooking the ocean fro a vantage point above the cove. The ledge he perched on was not at a particularly steep drop-off. As he sat, picking at the bits of cucumber and the crisp leaves of romaine covered in bacon ranch, he read through the letters he had received that morning from Lord Sugroku, his twin, Ireina, and his mate, Yuki. The latter two were traveling through the Land of the Four Gods The letters essentially warned him about bizarre things, told of jokes that only the two girls would ever get, and wished him well. It was the letter from his former lord that had really caught his interest. As he read the opening line, he dropped a particularly large fork-full of the greens onto the front of his shirt. With a swear, Faris put the bowl to the side and wiped at the dressing adorning his chest before re-reading the first line, and then the rest of the letter. "So, the old snow leopard is finally getting his groove back. I'm going to have to call him Stella for a while... But... Asking ME who to choose as a mistress was going a bit far." The demon scratched at his scarred temple with the end of the fork handle before taking another bite. "I wish the hides tanned faster than I can work. The re-binding might go faster, then..."

I walk outside to cool down. Something about that cave didn't seem right and gave me the creeps. I walk along the shore line and up a hill. There i saw a huge oak tree and desided to sit there. The breeze gently ruffeling my hair. Once I sat down I looked up at the sky and took a deep breathe relaxing and cooling down. I thought i saw something move ways infront of me but wasn't worried about it. I got out a notebook and started to draw the ocean. (( I hope thats good))

[[Getting better. try working on you tense and your plurals of words. ]]
Faris stood and gave a low whistle, summoning his cat, Otis, to his side. "Do me a favor and bring that back to the kitchens, please?" The cat changed form, now the size of a small horse, took the bowl and carried it off in his teeth. "Oh, stop whining. You never do anything but sleep anyhow." The wolf stretched and stowed the letters in his back pocket before walking along the ridge. As Faris caught sight of the other out on the ridge, a small dab of curiosity welled up. "Now who could that be?"

Faris padded silently over to the young woman nad carefully pulled the notebook off of her lap. As he looked over the landscape sketches and the doodles of people and animals, he quietly asked, "What is your name, young lady?" With his senses clogged with dust, he couldn't tell her race? Human, demon, it was all the same to him at the moment.
[[More than fine. EDIT: Saw the character post. We is be good.]]

She opened her eyes to see a man standing by her. She screamed in shock. She had to cover her mouth to make her self stop screaming. ''Who are you? And why do you have my notebook?!'' She stood up and snatched the book out of his hands.

Faris had to fight to keep from snarling. "A little less screechy, please. I might go deaf if you aren't careful. Demons are impressive in the sensory category. My Name is Faris Izyuri Maduva." The tall wolf bowed low at the waist, and, as he faced the ground muttered to himself. "Ungrateful mortals always being so pushy and loud." Faris rose to his full height once more, hair covering the scars on his face. "I am essentially the librarian and historian here at the Haven. I'm also quite the fan of art." The breeze picked up once more, floating through the gaping silence as he waited for a reply.

"I do apologize, miss. I am rather annoyed with the universe today, and I have no place allotting my anger at numerous, old, ripped up books to you." The wolf brushed the red hair off the right side of his face, not quite sure what to do with himself. Social situations had never been his forte. "Might I learn your name then?" Faris glanced at the young woman and then stared out over the waves. "And, as well, are you staying in the castle, or the tavern? Most do not come here on day trips." Faris could not remember the butler ever telling him of a new inhabitant that might pass through for one of the books in his care.

Angel d`Monte Lions make you brave, Giants give you faith. Death is a charade, You don`t have to feel safe to feel unafraid. Angel hit the beach before she even realized it, dropping out of the trees and onto the sand. She actually stumbled a bit, not used to the change in terrain, but her wings kept her balanced enough if she flapped them. Sighing, she looked around herself before walking over to the edge of a few cliffs. "At least it`s beautiful..." she whispered, her body bursting into hundreds of blossoms as she reappeared by the edge of the water.
Her reflection was less than attractive and she sighed, bending down to scoop some of the cool liquid into her dainty hands and washing it over her face. It had accumulated more grime that she thought on her adventure that had led her to this place. It didn`t seem very populated, or uninviting; so she figured that she would stay; at least for now.
After she had washed her face and pulled some of the tangles from her hair, she launched herself into the air and flew over to a few large cliffs a few meters out into the water. She perched down atop one of them, giggling each time the sea water would spray and just reach her feet. ┅┅┅┅┅┅┅┅

Faris watched the sudden appearance of a winged... something tumble from the clouds and onto an outcropping of land not far from where he, and the small human who he now knew to be Silver, stood. When the wings folded, he blessed his good sight and saw the entity to be a woman. He could not tell her features from the grime that covered her, but he could vaguely tell that she, too, was an auburn-topped ragamuffin. It indeed had been sometime since he had seen such a spectacular display as, a moment later the woman disappeared in a flurry of multicolored petals. The wind swept up again and the petals were carried towards the two. The wolf raised a hand from his side and caught one of the silken pastels, before lifting it to his nose to give it a hearty sniff. "An angel? No, this woman had to have been damned if she is tumbling through the air like that." He saw a sharp shot and a feather fall away and drift back below the cliff. The fallen Grace had decided to move from the beach to the break-surf some distance away. "Forgive me, Miss... Silver. I must leave you to your musings and make sure that this new Lady is no threat to Lord Kenshin's estate, and perhaps help her if she is hurt." The wolf bowed and carefully slipped past silver. Not even thinking, he let his body drop from the ledge, shifting into a magnificent blur of dirtied crimson fur. He leaped across several of the rocks and sat a mite ways behind the Grace, waiting for her to speak. "She seems to be no threat, and just dirty, but uninjured. A new entity seeking residence here?

Angel d`Monte Lions make you brave, Giants give you faith. Death is a charade, You don`t have to feel safe to feel unafraid. As the time passed Angel began to grow weary. How long had it been since she`d had any semblance of a proper meal? She sighed and the wind carried an odd scent towards her. It was musky, a bit dirty and almost, feral. She blinked several times, contemplating the scent before bursting into hundreds of blossom pedals and appearing beside the wolf. "Are you stalking me?" she asked with her fists clenched.
She`d retrieved her stiletto from from around her waist and was now holding it a few inches from the wolf`s face. His hair shone in the light, though it was flecked by bits of dirt. She wondered if the wolf was friend or foe? She`d lived for hundreds of years amongst the animals of nearby forests; yet she`d never smelled anything like this animal. He seemed... living, like a human person.
Her eyes scanned the wolf`s for any sort of hint as to what he truly was, and she began to back up warily. She wasn`t in any sort of shape for a fight. ┅┅┅┅┅┅┅┅
