I didn't ship any shippings at all until toward the end of the Soul Society arc. I thought IchiRuki was cute, but another shipping I liked was Ichigo x Ishida. But... I shipped Ichiruki in the end, because someone convinced me to. She put out good points, sent me some fanarts...and I couldn't believe I had waited so long to ship them. XD
So, Ichiruki is now my all-time favorite shipping in Bleach. I also ship:
~Hitsugaya x Hinamori
~Yoruichi x Soifon
~Byakuya x Renji
~Grimmjow x Ulquiorra
~Hanatarou x Ganju
And just to clear things up, I do NOT ship Ichigo x Ishida. There are a lot of couples I say are cute or whatever, but don't actually ship. xD

Whenever she leaves for Soul Society-They were so cute together and the look in Ichigo's eyes as she was leaving was just whee . Then his determination to save her in SS made me love them more xd

I have a thing for couples that fight..plus they looked like they were perfect for each other. They just have that couple look. So probably since I first saw Bleach, I was thinking "They're so making babies."
