It seems that UDE are giving up. I have no definate evidence but I do know what I am seeing. Konami have recreated the yugioh-card website. http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/UDE have removed the Yugioh forums. Wether they are down for repair or down for good I have to say that it looks like they don't care anymore.

Um...this happened a while ago, everything is over between them. Konami announced that Crimson Crisis' sneak peek is going to be on March 1st (US) and that Hobby Stores would be able to host about six weeks ago... on their rebuilt site...

It's about time, ude failed thinking they could do something about this. All they did was distribute packs...

So, UDE is out of the picture. That sucks. We'll they do now have control over the Huntik TCG.

Anyone else just see this publicity stunt as a way of advertising as part of a rising trend? (Ex: Watchmen film)

I doubt it. I just see it as a company who is making a ton of money off of our addiction to their TCG and who wants to keep it that way so their cutting out the middle man and attempting to run everything across the pond on their own.

FinalChaos27 So, UDE is out of the picture. That sucks. We'll they do now have control over the Huntik TCG. It doesn't suck that UDE is out of the picture, they should have never been there to begin with. The only thing they were supposed to handle was distribution, which is why Konami got pissed at them and the fight happened. With UDE gone we can expect many things from Yu-Gi-Oh! that will benefit the players greatly, such as hobby store sneak peeks.

We also need Konami to put together a judges system and rulings database. On the upside we should hopefully have more acurate rulings.

I must ask, what the ******** do you speak of? And you still have quite a mess to fix in the Ra Yellow House, if I'm not mistaken.

Competetive play isn't gone with the loss of UDE. Konami has their own as well, and are already setting their plans into motion to start the tournament scene.
Most likely, the tournaments and events while UDE were around were already inder the direction of Konami. If they weren't, they wouldn't be cancelled right now. Konami is simply taking their time to replace all UDE judge officials and methods with their own.
