I don't know if you ladies consider this a game, but I love playing it.

1: it's fun to play if you what to control a storyline, or killing which ever you would like.
2: I can't play any online games at school....*sigh* It sucks.

Okay since I learned about Sims 3 early last year, I was interested in learning more about it. Through the year(s) I found out that I have EVEN MORE freedom to make ANY SIM I want. I was so exicted and I reserved my copy about ..........mid november I believe and so I was counting the days and saving up my money for the Collector's addition, watching the MAIN SITE for ANY updates and there was so far nothing to worry about. I saw that they let all the top modders of Sims2 play the game earlier this month and will be doing this for 10 weeks. I thought "WOW, expansion pack is going to come early." So the Fateful day arrived....February 20th. My friend and I drove to the mal and waited in the food court outside of Gamestop for about an hour....(we didn't mean to be THAT early) So we got breakfast as we waited.
When we got to the counter and showed our little gift in proof of reservation and was told.
"EA pushed back the release date to June 2nd."
"WHAT!?"
stressed
was the response from my friend and I. We were waiting for this game to come out and I had erased all my data, cleaned my drive, and defraged it to boot. Just to be told that the Epic Story I had been playing for months was now erased for NO REASON! crying
I looked at the site the day before and nothing mention a delay ANYWHERE!
Well we ended up paying for our copies, so we didn't have to worry about them later. Then we went to her apartment and looked at the website. the offical website said nothing about the delay just the Creator's Camp, then we went to the EA website. It was there......but in a tiny blue print of to the side. Sims 3 Delayed til June 2nd.
Okay the ONLY thing I think the people at EA should do is IF A GAME IS GOING TO BE DELAYED PLEASE....PLEASE PUT IT ON THE OFFICAL WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!!!! stressed Because not EVERYONE looks at the EA website when their only interested in one game.
I also have to talk to Gamestop about the downlaodable car that they gave me for the game reservation. It exipres on April 15 which is clearly WAY BEFORE the game comes out. i just need to know if I get a new one or if the date has been extended.
I just want to get this of my chest ladies because SO FAR every game I have reserved has came out on time, and this is the ONLY one that's done this to me.
If you fellow gamer girls agree that if you, the company, let a SELECT GROUP OF PEOPLE play the game and then delay it saying it's not done. Would you be Furious at the company for making you wait EVEN LONGER FOR A GAME that you reserved and were planning on playing, just so they can get extra crap to put on the website for download....(which is most likely but this knew Sim points that they have......which are stupid.)
I wouldn't because that makes me angry that only a few get to play while the rest have to wait on the ALREADY FINISHED GAME!

NO THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TESTERS< THEY'RE MODDERS. THE GAME IS FINISHED!!!!!! BUT NO ONE CAN PLAY IT YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for letting me have my part. Share any stories of game delayed anger or for the fact any kind of game anger about companies being stupid and not caring about the gamers.
THANK YOU.......................again

I'm not much of a sims fan. I played it for maybe a half an hour and got bored. I'm pissed about Starcraft 2 not coming out til June! crying Ugh.. I've been looking forward to this day for years.

Hopefully it won't turn out like LoZ:TP and be pushed back again and again until it finally comes out a year or so later than the originally planned release date. Hmmm is EA working with Nintendo? (A sarcastic rhetorical question-no need to answer ^_^.)

I love the Sim games, particularly building houses!

The thing is, if the game is awesome, its worth the wait. If TP would have been crap, there would have been riots in the streets, lol.

It better not be pushed back any farther. I'm planning on asking for it for my birthday (which is the 10th of June) and I'll be pissed if I can't get it talk2hand

Grr!! I was -SO- looking forward to playing this on my friend's computer-he constructed his own computer, and it's REALLY nice, and REALLY fast-and he has all the expansions for the sims 2 on his comp, and it still runs like a dream, and so I was looking forward to an awesome sims 3 experience on an extremely fast computer, but NO! And now by the time he gets it I'll be on the other side of the freakin' COUNTRY for the summer!!! >.< GAH!

They seriously need to work on time management.
It still sucks for some of us when we spend a bunch of money on all of those expansion packs for the Sims 2, and just when we almost have them all (SO CLOSE, DAMMIT!!!), the producers finally come out with the game that has all the expansion packs in one game. Both of those facts are very irritating. mad

Working in the gaming industry I learned that many times the reason why a game is pushed back so far in production is usually a problem with mass production. Someone ******** up....and they don't want to admit it.
