Name : The Shy and Gentle; Kari (Pronounced: Car-ee) Kamiya
Gender : Female
Age : 13
Year : Third
House : Gryffindor
Ethnicity : Japanese-American
Hair/Eye Color : Her hair is short, reaching about her chin and a dark brown. There is usually, if not mostly, a pair of red ribbons in her hair. Her eyes are a dark, navy blue colour, and hold a slight Japanese eye resemblance to them, more or less inherited from her mother.
Pet : A small, white, snowy owl with piercing sapphire eyes named Sapphire. Sapphire was mainly named for the colour of her eyes.
Home Life : Kasumi Kamiya - Kari's Japanese Mother and a Muggle; She has always been there for Kari no matter what. She is a House Wife, whom stays at home taking care of the place while her Daughter is away at school and her Husband is busy working at the Ministry of Magic. She is a Muggle so she has no magic powers, but she has adapted quite well to having a Wizard and a Witch in her Family.
Joshua James Kamiya - Kari's American Father and a Wizard; He works in a small department at the Ministry of Magic. It's not much, but it's a good enough job that pays well, and allows him to provide the neccessities for his Wife and Daughter.
Diving deeper : Kari is a shy and quiet student. She is very soft-spoken and often thinks of herself as nothing but a failure, or a hindrance. She doesn't believe she will be a good witch, but her skills in Magic provides a different answer. She is surprisingly smart for someone of her calibur. Kari often enjoys wandering the halls in her free time, dodging bullies, reading in the safety and quiet of her Common Room, or sitting in the Library and drawing. She has no current ambitions besides the fact, that she wants to try and not be as shy as she is and be able to meet new friends whom won't shun her for the way she is.
Taking a closer look : Kari lay on her bed, staring up at the dark ceiling of her dorm room at Hogwarts. It was quiet, very quiet. Probably because everyone else was outside enjoying the sunlight and free time. Kari, on ther other hand, didn't really feel like going out today, she'd rather stay inside. This was partially because of the little incident that occured in her Potions Class earlier that day.
Earlier
Kari sat at her desk in the big Potions Classroom, her cauldron boiled and bubbled in front of her as she waited for the potion ingredients to set before she completed the required potion of the day. The cauldron suddenly gave a strange sound and Kari stood up to investigate. Big mistake. As the young girl leaned over to peer inside the cauldron...bang! The potion exploded in her face, causing her to stumble back and fall to the floor, completely covered from the torso up with pinkish goo. All around her she heard laughing, she wasn't sure who it was from, but before she could investigate, she was pulled up by two fellow Gryffindors and brought out of the class...
Kari covered her face with her arm. She couldn't believe that that had happened. Why did things like that always happen to her?

You have been Accepted
to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
She seems a cute girl but I feel like there could be more to her. Needs
a bit of fleshing out, I suppose as she grows older though, her mind will
become more complex and she will find herself. Other than that, welcome
to the guild! I hope Kari find friends that will value her gentleness toward life <3
