supposedly avenedged sevenfold is coming to my city again, which means all the faux punks will be going nuts. its already bad enought that we already have a generic hard rock concert here this month.

InvertedKingdom I feel for you man. How's the actual punk underground where you live? emo, punk, pretty much every genre is dead around here. :/ we have a decent hardcore/metalcore underground here...if u ignore the scene kids, but they stay out of the pits anyways

Hey Metalocalypse is hilarious and I only listen to Children of Bodom for the solos. And I'm not gonna lie. I dug Waking the Fallen when it came out. But if you can honestly sit there and defend City of Evil with a straight face then you deserve this to happen to you. HARD! talk2hand

Dethklok isn't a real band. Ergo, they were never "around". It's bullshit that they "toured" for like a month. It's also bullshit that they actually released two albums.

I wholeheartedly concur.
I never justified the music aspect of "Dethklok" as a band.
I was merely paying homage to the show which I thought to be quite hilarious.
All I was trying to say is that M. Shadows sounds like a kitten in a meat grinder. And who wants to see a kitten thrown into a meat grinder?
...except at a Gwar show...there are of course exceptions. xd
The man did a song with Good Charlotte for christs sake. Proof that he has no respect for himself or the music industry.
I'm not trying to start a war here.
I was simply stating my opinion that Avenged Sevenfold sounds like a bag of asses. Now thats NEW Avenged Sevenfold (i.e. anything post-dating Waking the Fallen). Feel free to disagree but please do not start a battle over this.
