Ian is a genius.
I want us to make up a RP story backdrop for the War CB thread.
Despite what you may think, this is very important. Random
fighting is not enough for our thread - our only contact with
the outside world of Gaia!
We need a story for people to jump in with. We need something
with substance for new members to grab on to. I have ideas,
but I'm just one person, and I'm asking for your opinions here.
If I don't get sufficient feedback before, say February 8, 2009,
I'll make up a story myself and put it up.
Got all that?

-mumbles-Alright the others didn't help so i'll have to search my memory for this.
There have been 7 generations of Warboards, welcome to our 7th gen.
The deadly fights were held in a once small forum called War it was a 3 year long battle of demons against slayers.
Ezzie one of the leaders of the demons had declared War on the humans this is when the slayers stepped in to protect the humans.
Most of the demons were taken out by the slayers however some managed to escape while a few stayed to protect the one called Ezzie, the ones she had gotten to protect her were demons, Hd the one horned demon an elf demon with the ability to regenerate, Chochan Cat a cat demon with the ability to control multiple types of fire, Cb Crystal Boy-The prince of his vampire clan, And Nathan a former slayer who had taken strange effects during the battle and ended up assisting the demons.
The last slayer, that of whom had taken out most of the demons, Past fought each one of the demons these demons however were not like the others they were an even match for the slayer, the fighting soon slowed down after the many battles.
The slayer had found that these four demons did not mean harm to the humans so the three year battle had came to an end.
However a new evil had came to the Warboards during the 4th gen starting the war back up, this time the demons were against each other for territory over the land of War.
This battle raged on untill the 5th generation.
Now many of the old fighters had left the lands of War in search of more battles.
Small battles went on during the 5th generation.
During the 6th generation a few old members had returned only one slayer Luke, which was an old apprentice of Past's made an alliance with few of the demons.
Shortly after a new threat came to War they were expierements very few of them had came to fight however that was all they needed so they thought, these expierements were there to test there strength against the demons these beings introduced themselves being only four of them at the time, Vincent, Weiss, Yiazmat and Vayne.
During this time there were many few fighters left, Ash a young girl who had relations with Vayne, Nathan the slayer from the past, Grindy an expierenced fighter with a unique ability to turn metal into liquid and make it take shape of any object and the slayer Luke.
The battle went on for half of the 6th gen the expierements had tested what they needed to, however Vincent and Weiss had decided to stay, While Yiazmat showed up on ocassion and Vayne had left with Ash.
So i welcome all of you to the 7th generation of War where anything can and will happen.
((There it is i actually think were in the 8th gen now but yea...edit and add where you may as i said i have a blurry memory but i added what i could gather.))

Nathan I think has the basic summary, Up to when I first left at least. I can't say the same for after the 5th or so generation.
(You reminded me of Chochan_cat [<3])
CB was not only a vampire, but also half wolf demon and I think was actually the Prince of his Wolf clan. Along with HD, Past, CB, Nathan and Myself there were two others. Shards and VP. Shards was the princess to her Vampire Kingdom (Or she was an elf...?). VP was mainly at Shards' side, being a vampire herself. My memory is a bit foggy as well, because I'm starting to think it was VP being the vamp. princess. (V P. get it? yeah?)
I can get into detail/or semi detailed history of those characters individually, but, that not whats being asked. (( XD ))
After the war on humans, there was peace for a time. Just before the war for territory, Shards disappeared (and still has not been found D; ) and VP eventually faded away herself, keeping contact with a few. When the territory war began, many of the older war boarders left for other battles (as Nathan said).
Thats about all my brain can dig out right now. o.e

Generation 0: My Story
It all began during the reign of Emilina Jane, the so called "Ezzie". I was a mere traveller that ended up working as a local florist in Queen Emilina's queendom, a country with no name. Business was bad and I was doing terrible in making my name known. Little did I know that during those years the royal highness was under a constant threat by one of her advisors, a hidden sword if you may call it. There were two corrupt elites, brothers of the same blood, who pulled the strings of the economy and indirectly specifying orders for the queen through that certain man; whose name I forgot. Keep in mind that none of us commoners would suspect such a vile scheme of greed taking place in the palace, alas I began to wonder why business was so slow.
One day I stumbled upon a book hidden within the attic of my shop, I was reminded that the shop has been going on for generations and generations yet it was only at that particular day that it dawned to me to trace my past. The book is called "Bible". It contained teachings from a great and wise man who spoke of truth, peace and justice. But what really piqued my interest are the statements within the book regarding the world of demons. Since religion was not really the primary concern of the queendom nor does the establishment of Chruches during those times, commoners was deprived of this great gift that God had sent me.
With the knowledge that I have gained by finishing the book, I pondered why business has been so slow lately.
That night I heard a commotion outside; a couple of women were standing outside my shop gossiping which was audible enough for me to hear inside. Queen Emilina was hiring "agents" to serve her for a special purpose. I did not question why the queen would do such a thing but I knew that I had to find a job otherwise I am going to starve to death, besides, it would be my chance to serve the royal highness personally and it would be a great honor if she would but bestow upon me an audience. I applied to become one of her "agents" and eventually I was taken in.
The next thing I knew; I was collecting taxes from villagers, violently. I was appointed as the chief agent and I bore the title "Consigliere". My job was to do rounds all night around town collecting taxes, if people would decline to pay what must be paid then I have the persmission to gun them down. I did not know where all the money collected is spent and I did not even bother knowing, I was into all the ruthless action for money. Little by little I was consumed by my power, corrupted, and feared. My career as an "agent" seemed well but my life was a complete mess.
Later that year a trial abruptly began concerning one of the queen's advisors who was charged of blasphemy and disrespect for the queen. Truth is: that very man was the medium between the corrupt elites and the queen. He has already been discovered as a traitor due to a terrible mistake that he made as the words that slipped out of his mouth, regarding the mafia underworld of the queendom, seemed to be manipulating the queen. One of the loyal guards of the queen granted her majesty this intelligence as he overheard the corrupt advisor's conversation with the elites in the senate. Indubitably he was found guilty and I was appointed as the executioner. I blew his head off with a shotgun in front of so many people. Soon enough, the mafia was abolished, the queendom became prosperous and no one heard of the elite brothers ever again.

Generation 1: The Encounter
Everything seemed well at the beginning of the new year, the queendom was peaceful for a period of three months. I was no longer a Consigliere but I was promoted into becoming one of Queen Emilina's ever so trusted advisors. I earned her trust so much that she gave me a dark secret that pushed the whole queendom in a brink of war. She told me who she really is. Queen Emilina Jane is none other than the Daughter of the Devil. All became clear to me; why religion served no importance at all in the queendom, why merciless killings are made in order to establish a seemingly utopia for the population of the queendom, ridding people who knows too much in order to keep things smoothly. Queen Emilina told me that she wanted a peaceful place, and that hell was not the world she craved for, but I knew full well that her vision of a utopia was not possible in this world, perhaps a town living a deep slumber trapped in a room walled with mirrors of fantasy and on the floor lied no remnant of reality, isolating the inhabitants away from the real world in order to live the way they wanted. That was Ezzie's side. Deep inside of me I found everything totally unethical and simply diabolical. Ultimately none of us were free: we were deprived of facing reality. Thus I established a vow within myself and that is to stop the madness, to stop the Queendom of Ezzie, to set the people free. I was being idealistic, perhaps I thought it was my penance for being consumed by power in the past year as a Consigliere, I hungered for a noble cause to redeem myself, yet all I did was make things worse.
I spoke with words completely contradicting Ezzie's beliefs. I angered her but she approved to my proposal. She told me that if I wanted people to experience the real world, a world whence death and suffering lingers, then so shall it be. She would unleash hell's mightiest warriors, march a vast army of demons that would ravage the people of the queendom and bring the suffering. I bit off more than I could chew. I couldn't be thankful to her for giving me a chance to act accordingly to the path of justice, for instead of giving the innocent people of the queendom life I brought them death. It was up to me to keep the lives of innocent people safe, and so my apostolate began, as a Slayer.
I did not know where to begin, I did not know my enemy, I did not know how to confront demons and I did not know how in Heaven's name can I stop Ezzie from doing what she was about to do. I figured that by killing her before her sinister plans take place, I would be able to prevent everything from happening. My plan sure beats warning everyone what was about to happen, it saved more time...but eventually it proved to be futile. I returned to my shop, searched my attic and found my past, a complicated story that I will tell another day. I found my weapons and my garments, my faith in the Lord and my shield, my penance and my opportunity for redemption. I faced Ezzie months before she deployed her army, I was inexperienced and it was my first battle against a demon, more than that I faced the Daughter of the Devil. My weapons and my attempts were to no avail and I was defeated easily, but something within me has awakened. My true power sparked within my heart, my faith stood stronger than before and I unlocked my true potential as a Slayer of Demons. After being defeated shamefully by Ezzie I withdrew myself from battle and went into a short pilgrimage; a journey, both spiritual and physical, that has granted me the ability to transpire from my previous self into a new person. I did not know how to fight yet, especially when I confronted Ezzie, but I trusted on my faith and relied solely on it. I began my journey by leaving the queendom and entering the realm of demons. On my way there I was faced with many challenges, trials that has trained me how to fight, survive and how to gain my profound powers. When I got into the realm of demons, that was when the war began. I started it by coming into their territory before they could come to mine. I started the damned war.
And that was when I met THEM...
[[ Now this is the part when I first met Nathan, Cat and the others, including Shards. (Remember how I killed Shards a few days later?) By spotting a vampire queen I thought it would be best if I killed her immediately, thinking that her death would bring the downfall of a clan thus dwindling the numbers of vampires. That was the first strike, that was when HD's group bore a grudge against me and started the whole chaotic war. ]]

Overview
To make a long story short I waged war upon the demons before they could wage war upon the humans; limiting the battle in their realm by invading it. I fought alone. I met a lot of characters of whom I made acquaintances with, still, I was accustumed of working alone. I returned to Ezzie and found out that everything she had planned was not well thought of, I had a preemptive advantage. I confronted her once again and I was successful. I got rid of the demonic ruler and never heard from her ever again.
The lesser vampire queens disappeared too, as well as the counts and other rulers of the demon world. By getting rid of Ezzie, a lot of dependent rulers vanished with her. And so the territory war began, I found myself no place in that war so I disappeared.
