Tribe/OOC Rules 1. Follow TOS 2. Follow shop rules, and listen to the shop mods (Sapph, Anrea, PLE) 3. You know that RP suggestion sticky in the main RP forum? Follow it. 4. Anrea's word is law when it comes to the tribe. If you have a problem with something, let me know, and I'll listen. But I do have final say on everything. 5. Any questions, post in the tribe thread. If your question is of a sensitive nature, check the application post to make sure my PM box isn't full, and send me a PM with your question.
RP Rules 1. Distinguish between OOC and IC text in some way. Double parentheses are preferred (()), but as long as what you use is clear, it is acceptable. 2. Be literate. By that I mean: capitalize the start of a sentence, capitalize proper nouns, use punctuation at the end of a sentence, and try to spell properly, as well as try to use proper internal punctuation. (i.e. commas, semicolons, colons, etc) 3. Non-tribe members must ask Anrea's permission to post, and give a reason why they want to post. (e.g. they may have family in the clan they wish to visit) 4. As with all tribes, only the elder (Rina) may pray. Short prayers of thanksgiving are fine, but anything else is up to Rina. 5. Please try to avoid one-liners.

Through various forms of brown-nosing and perhaps even outright bribery, you can get your name on the white list. I'll have fun watching you guys come up with creative ways to get your names on here.
Grey list: You break a rule, you go on here, and you're on prohibition for a week. (An important rule, not something trivial like forgetting to use OOC brackets.)
Black list: You break two rules in a week. Big major rules. You can also go here if you break one major rule. (I really can't think of anything big enough to get you on here in one go at the moment, though.)
White List Natitsuri--she made the tribe. Without her, we wouldn't exist. Bow before her.
Gray List No one, yey!
Black List No one, huzzah!

There once was a young modifox who traveled a lot. She never really had a home. Many of the modifoxs she encountered belonged to tribes but this young modifox couldn't stand to stay in one place. Throughout her adventures, she ran into other modifoxes like herself. They decided to join together and travel the world.
The lifestyle of the clan is nomadic, although they will sometimes stop in one place or another for various reasons--injured members, newly emerged kits, maybe they just like the scenery, maybe the food is good, or maybe for some other reason--they spend most of their time traveling. The only planned stop on their travels is at their homeland, which they return to only once per year for the annual celebrations of Death and Life, around the time when winter turns into spring.
As wanderers, the clan is full of very physically fit modifoxes, with great deals of endurance, and they're also very productive, as laziness is frowned upon, because not only does it negatively affect the lazy modifox, it can affect the entire clan.

The Gypsies are travelers and rarely stay in one spot for a long time. The Gypsies have a small plot of land they call home at the base of a mountain next to a river. The only times that they go home is on their annual funeral and party.
This was chosen as the homeland because of the good location, with plentiful food in the surrounding plants and animals, and plentiful water from the river, which starts from a glacier at the top of the mountain, and flows down the mountain, and across the plain below.
((A map to possibly come later.))

The Annual Funeral- When all the Gypsy's get together and mourn for those lost since the last funeral. Held at the homeland.
The Annual Celebration of Life- Follows after the funeral. Modifoxes get together and share tales of their adventures and show off their new mods, etc.
((More details to come))

To denote belonging to the clan, modifoxes wear a gold amulet. It may be worn as jewelry, or as a piercing. However, it may not be covered by any other modifications, as the clan is more important than the self.
Besides that, modifoxes are permitted whatever sorts of modifications they wish to receive.

Elder- Also known as the Gypsy King or Queen, every decision has to be run past them. They are also the only ones who can pray to the Higher Beings. The Elders have the abilities of all the ranks below.
Hunter- Hunts for food while on the move. They are also responsible for finding salt, or other preservatives, so that meat may be kept. Strength and ability for teamwork are important in this position, as they need to get large amounts of meat (such as a deer) to the rest of the clan. Heightened senses. They can move quicker, and sense other Modifoxes quicker and more accurately than other Tribe members.
Shaman- (Also known as the witchdoctor) Keeps the clan safe from superstitions, takes care of the sick. They tell the gatherers what sort of herbs they need for their medicine. They have the ability to use small amounts of magicks. Nothing extreme like commanding oceans or anything, but small commands over Earth, Air, Water and Fire. The abuse of these powers, however, will result in Shamans being demoted.
Gatherer- Can sometimes be thieves. They like to gather things from other tribes. They often help out the hunters and shamans. They have the ability to use ultrasonic-like pules, to check surrounding areas for food and other usual materials
Carer- Teach the young and are often wonderful story tellers. If the young are unable to keep up with the rest of the clan, it is up to them to carry the kits. As a result of their powers, they also work closely with the shamans. They have the ability to sense auras, and to calm other Modifoxes when they are in distress. They can also communicate with kits that are still in BCR stage, to soothe them. They can also aid healing. If a Modifox is hurt in battles, spending time with the Carers means that their wounds can be treated faster and leave minimal scarring.
Scouts- Often wonder ahead of the clan to scout the territories, looking for danger. They need to be skilled fighters, to protect the rest of the tribe from whatever they encounter. The ability to negotiate, in the case of encountering hostile modifoxes, is also important. Scouts usually surround the clan as they travel, so nothing can take the clan by surprise. They have the ability to use telepathy, in order to send news faster. The telepathy is one way, unless they are talking to another Scout or an Elder.
Entertainers - After a long day of travel, relaxing is important, so they entertain the tribe through various ways, such as dancing, story telling, singing, or anything else they can think of. The Entertainers also pass down the history and lore of the tribe through their storytelling/singing/etc. Their abilities are improved memory (sometimes photographic, sometimes simply better than normal), and the ability to "enchant"--to have the attention of a being (modifox, or animal) focused solely on the Entertainer. Because of the enchanting ability, when hunting in rather lifeless terrain, the Hunters occasionally take along an Entertainer to enchant the prey. As Entertainers are less experienced at stealth than Hunters, it is a risk for the Hunters to bring them along, since the Entertainers might startle the prey before having a chance to enchant it.
Members - Tag along for the ride and always pull their share of the weight. There are no special abilities associated with this position.

Every other week a new adventure would be set up for members to RP in. Members do not have to take an active part in these RP's, just lets the clan get closer together. And if you miss out on one or get completely lost, there will be more.

This is just a formality, so I can keep track of which foxes are in the tribe. However, I want you to really think over if your fox will fit in--Rina won't banish someone just because they've decided they like another tribe better. This is a lifelong commitment, and it'll take a lot to get out of. So make sure your fox can deal with all aspects of tribe life before applying.
Now with that lovely disclaimer out of the way, onto the actual application.
PM this to The Gypsy Clan.
