: razz ersonality:: Saaki is rather carefree, easy to laugh, easy to smile even if she doesn't know the person. Strong-willed and stubborn, she enjoys a challenge, no matter how rigorous it is. But beneath the strength, there is still someone who is soft, kindly, loving, especially for her Wolf.
::History:: Being as her family was from a less grown, less technologically grasped society, it was easy for her ancestors to come to terms with the rapid changes which affected the landscape. Moving to America before AL was easy, for all survivors had heard that the coastal region was still well inhabited, and migrated like moths to flames in order to thrive in the ravaged world. Being of such strong beliefs in strength and honor, her family followed a warrior's understanding above all. But when she saw the damage the less peaceable centipedes caused when they appeared, she hated the feeling it caused her, such panic and fear. Always respecting the Wolves and the people who rode them, who watched over the people with quiet strength, she wanted to be a part of it. And on her eighteenth birthday, she took up the way of Riders, joining the Academy, and enjoying the harsh way of life almost as if she were always ready for it. When her Wolf chose her, the large she-wolf, Shadeclaw, who seemed to bond spiritually with her, she was happy beyond belief, conscious of just how much she enjoyed being with Shadeclaw.

: razz ersonality:: Shadeclaw, like her rider, is as strong physically as she is mentally. She's extremely sarcastic, enjoying the look on peoples' faces when she made a comment that proved either surprising or rude. She doesn't care. But like her rider, she has a soft side, a tender side that is nourished by her gentling Saaki. HER Saaki, no one else's. When not on patrol, Shadeclaw is always close by Saaki, lying out in the sunlight together, enjoying, relishing in each others' company.
::History:: Like all the other wolf pups, she knew she would find her soulmate, the rider who would be with her in mind and body. The first time around, she was nearly terrified to go out of the safety of the cavern, and stayed within the shadows, watching as her litter mates were bonded out to their riders, and there she sat, watching, waiting. It had been a sunny day, and there Saaki had stood, in nervous anticipation, waiting. Shadeclaw ventured out then, her eyes sharp and intense as she meandered through the prospective candidates toward Saaki. Warmth flooded her as she touched her mind as delicately as a moth's wing onto her mind. The answering shudder was delightful. Saaki reached down and wrapped her arms around the wolf's neck, hugging her to her breast.
Shadeclaw felt whole then. Safe. Happy.
