A small gray and white cub sat at the base of the Council Stones, looking a tad bored with her surroundings. The air was humid and smelled rather salty due to the large body of water nearby. Her gray ears twitched with anticipation everytime a breeze passed, hoping it would bring along a gust of wind with it. Unfortunately, the wind died down immediately, leaving Xue in a fit of frustration. She laid down onto her belly and gazed lazily at her tail.
Waiting for her sister was a bore.
Thing was, her sister would be on time when she arrived. Xue was just early for their nonexistent adventure. The sun was high overhead, leaving a tiny portion of shade in which she currently squeezed herself in.
Where was Wei?

Wei was crouched in the grass, creeping around. Her belly was cool as it brushed against the grass that laid in the shadows of the Council Stones. She looked up at the large stones, her feet now covered in mud as she crept along the side near the water. It didn't show much, however, on her brown fur.
She looked over at the other side of the stones; nothing. She circled around, keeping her eye out for something......there! Squinting in the hot sun of the day, she saw the white and gray fur of her sister. Wei huddled in the grass, creeping up to her stealthily. Tail swaying behind her, she moved in closer, until she was not but three feet away.
Lurking was fun. Especially when it involved Wei's siblings.

Xue huffed impatiently as she continued wait a bit longer. The cub was about to give up on the arrival of her sister until her sensitive ears caught the slight rustling of grass from somewhere around the area. The gray ears twitched, honing in on any unnatural sounds that may have been caused by something rather than the wind. There. The rustling drew nearer and Wei had been discovered.
"Finally!" Xue rolled her eyes in exasperation as she got up to face her sister.
The brown visage was all too familiar to the cub as Xue moved towards Wei. They even had the same eyes. Their mother's eyes.
"Well, where have you been?"

Wei moved her lips about poutingly; she didn't enjoy being discovered. Her sister's grey coat seemed to blend in well with the surrounding rocks, and Wei let her eyes wander about them loftily.
"Hmm?" her attention was snapped back immediately as she heard the frustration in Xue's voice. "I was out......exploring!" her eyes were wide with excitement, something that was rarely seen from her. Wei internally enjoyed being with her siblings, but seldom did she show it externally.

"Silly, we're here to explore!" Xue lightened up and grinned, pawing at the ground.
Then again, she had to agree there was nothing more fun than exploring. Her sister's excitement was infectious and she couldn't help but forget about the frustration she had toward her. Xue did an immediate about-face and started scaling the huge boulders. She wondered how on earth the adults climbed leisurely about these things, but figured she would discover their secrets in time.
"Let's start over there!" And a game of follow-the-leader had proceeded.
Xue crouched low, wiggling her butt in the air and held her breath as she pounced onto the side of the rock formation. She scowled as she found that her sharpened claws had failed to grasp onto the stone and slid down onto her rump. She gazed expectantly over at Wei to see if her sister had another easier plan in mind.

Wei scooted about the rocks playfully, trying to keep the danger out of her mind. Leaping from on group of rocks to another, Wei's feet barely made the jump; half her body was dangling off the edge, and she swayed back and forth to get back up.
Looking down at her sister, Wei giggled silently. She looked about, trying to figure out a way for them to get up higher, for this method was not going to last. Her mind was blank, and she plopped herself down on the cool rock, waiting for Xue to make a move.
She looked up, gazing out towards the water; it's shimmering beauty grasped Wei's attention, and her eyes beamed. The daze was short lived, as she now became more concerned about how she was supposed to get down from her high perch.

Xue's eyes flashed in a mixture of excitement and jealousy when Wei had succeeded in jumping onto the rocks. She put on a determined face and backed away from the rock, hoping that a running start would help. And help it did. The cub pushed her muscles in a fierce attempt to gain speed and took a leap for the perch. Her limbs seemed to flail midair as she grabbed for the top but ended up scampering onto the top of the boulder. She skidded to a halt near her sister, almost colliding into her flank.
Xue's apple green eyes sparkled with pride in her achievement and took a couple deep breaths to settle her thumping heart. She quickly got on all fours again, circling about the little area contently. Only when she looked down did she recognize Wei's own concern. Oh no.
"Well," she gulped. "Up or down, sis?"

Wei's eyes glittered as she looked up to the sky; the sun was comfortable. She looked around, assessing their options, which seemed few at this point. Up a little higher was the top of the rocks; it seemed silly to come this far to just turn around. They could get down later.
"Well......" her eyes shifted to meet Xue's. "There might be something nice up there!" the excitement rose in her voice as she pictured fantastic things at the very top. "Maybe there are some rare form of flower, or some shiny stones...." her voice rambled off as she started up the incline, legs trembling at the height she had gotten herself to.
((OMG, Eusi's litter is gorgeous~ x3 I bet Kyt's happy with 13! xD))

The gray and white cub also moved forward and placed a paw against the side of the rock. Her ears flattened against the sides of her head as she peered upward towards the top. She narrowed her eyes against the blazing sunlight.
"Wonder which way is the fastest way up..." Xue mumbled under her breath as her eyes followed her sister's movements.
As far as she could see, the sides were steep though far from slippery that perhaps she could grab a hold on one side and inch upwards. But then again, she'd tried that already from the base of the Council Rocks. Oh well. Xue took a couple steps back despite her sister's gain in height and sneered her little cub sneer. Once again, Xue took a great leap onto the stone, just a bit below Wei. She dug her claws in as much as she could and froze, squeezing her eyes shut. Was she safe?
She hadn't felt pain just yet.
Slowly cracking open her green eyes, Xue looked up to see her sister practically at the top. She began to inch upwards, much more slowly than intended.
"Hey, wait up!"

"You're too slow!" Wei giggled as she started up another rock. She neared the top, and felt the rocks start to slide from her paws; clinging to the edge she wiggled up and waited patiently for her sister.
She gazed out towards the water; it glimmered nicely in the sun. For the time being, Wei was not concerned with what else lay on the rock-- the view was all that consumed her.

Upon finally getting onto the rocks, Xue pounced onto her sister, wrestling her to the ground. She hadn't even taken into consideration the view over her pride lands. All that she was focused on was pinning her sister to the ground. Of course, this may have seemed a bit unfair (and certainly dangerous for two cubs on top of the Council Stones) but Xue didn't really care.
"GRAWR!" she exclaimed, jumping onto Wei.

Staring blankly at the water, Wei held a strange smile on her face. It was soon shattered as she felt herself tumbling onto her side, brushing against the smooth rock. "Hey!" she laughed and bit her sister's ear, chewing on it gently. "Look look!" she rose from the rock, her stance facing the water. "Ya see! Isn't it pretty?" her eyes reflected the movements of the water, and it hypnotized her.

Unfortunately, Xue didn't look for the finer things in life.
She laid on her belly beside Wei, crossing her white forelegs one on top of the other. The cub scoffed and rolled her eyes at her sister's excitement towards nature. Still, Xue knew Wei would be a tad offended if she didn't appreciate the scenery; so she gazed out to the gleaming ocean, suppressing a yawn. The girl scanned her eyes skeptically across the horizon, finding it a bit boring. She had no idea whether she and her sister were even looking at the same scenery.
"It's... pretty," Xue managed to plaster a grin onto her face.
The sun was beginning to set. Had they already been playing for hours?
"Now, let's find a way down from here or Mother will be furious when she finds out we've been here the entire day."

Eye's glancing over towards her sister, Wei knew that Xue didn't enjoy this as much as she; it was very hard to enjoy nature as much as Wei did. Something about the cool breeze and the glistening blue water seemed so heavanly, and she couldn't help but get lost in it.
"It really is." Wei's voice was soft, and she nudged Xue lovingly. "We can go, then. I don't want mom to be upset." she winced with a smile as she thought of her mother in a scene of rage. "You first?" she backed up a bit, motioning towards the downsloping rocks, hoping that her sister would lead the way back.

Xue blinked as she looked down from the peak of the stones. Oh crud. She hadn't realized how high they had actually climbed. Just looking down was beginning to take a toll on her mind. How were they going to get down?
She glanced back towards her sister and then back to the ground and heaved a sigh. Mustering up every ounce of courage she had, she slowly began to step down onto the rocks below, claws out in case she needed to hook onto something.
Step by step, Xue moved, taking care to place her paws on firm rocks and not ones that could tip over. At this rate it would be nighttime when the two would reach ground level. Oh goodness.
Hey! Sorry about the really late post! But I had an idea where we can ask Noya to bring in Sen to wrap up the RP. Like, she'd come find them and bring them down but give them a scolding while returning to camp or something. What do you think?
