she gently guided him out the door and walked along until Triton reponded. It was an ok inn. Not a slum, but not exactly luxury either. cheap, too.
Not that she cared.
The drunkeness was going away again, and she felt extremely depressed. It was worse, since the whole situation had been gone before, vanished into an oblivous cloud.
"Is this your room?" she asked absently. He was heavy, but she had been trained for heavier in life, and was stronger now anyway.

"Hmm.." triton almost had the notion to nuzzle her, she wasnt the warmest thing in the world but he was sleepy. Wobbling along beside her as she practically dragged him to his room. Glancing up briefly at her voice to the door in front of him. Sure it's mah room.." he shrugged lightly reaching forwards to mess with the door knob for a moment..
He had to laugh at himself as he realized there were two of it, the thing escaping his grasp the first time before he finally got hold of it, twisting and pushing it open roughly. The room was pitch black a little candle barely glimmering in a corner of the room.
A lantern flickering slightly was off in the corner somewhere hiding along with tritons things.

She led him over to the bed and set him down.
"I'll see you tomorrow, ok? Get some sleep."
She glanced at the lantern, a partially hidden thing, eyes narrowing in suspicion... but there was nothing to be suspicious about... just a lantern, right?
Except that poes carried lanterns, and this kind stranger... Triton... had a poe companion.
She covered her new employer with the blanket. it was thin and worn, but it would do.
She scans the room thoroughly again, then shrugs and seems to dissappear.
In reality, she had leapt up and now stood crouched on one of the rafters high above, watching for any unusual activity in the room and trying to figure out what she was going to do with the night.
Would she slip through castle town like a shadow, learning all she could?
Would she buy supplies from some late-night merchant?
Would she simply sit and think on her... affliction?
Would she find a 'job' to put rupees in her pocket?
All these possibilities were sorted out as she sat and watched.

Triton muttered something, some sort of a thank you....or something along those lines. Curling up as the blankets were pulled around him, reveling in the warmth of it all. It was kind of nice to be drunk for once, with a friend at least, that almost never happened...
The little lantern in the corner flickered slightly, the thing slowly floating up from its spot, a dark whispy looking creature forming around it. "Tsk..out all night.." the thing hissed softly floating up on its owner. "And then getting dragged back like this, by a woman of all things..feh..pathetic.."
Triton only groaned turning away from the annoying voice.."Shush..sleeping..an' shes cute kai.." he yawned softly pulling the blankets up over his head. He'd hoped the poe would be sleeping, the thing was nocturnal though.
The poe simply rolled his eyes, deciding not to bother with an attempt to wake the man, obviously triton was too drunk to carry on a conversation. "I dont care if shes a fairy goddess herself....besides..there's something off about her.." he huffed, blinking a few times when there was no reply. Eventually resorting to poking the fast asleep human. "Unbelievable!" the little poe snarled the lantern flaring momentarily with his anger, illuminating him and the room before going dim again. Kaiba muttering darkly to himself as he drifted back to his corner. He would have been out tonight but it was far to cold, he hated the cold..and the inn..and just about everything at the moment..settling back in among their things as kaiba and his drifty little lantern resumed his guarding position.

Yoske was bemused. It was as she had thought- it had been a poe lantern.
there was something off about her? Of course there was. She would've laughed sadly, but she would've alerted the poe to her presense, and probably discgraced the wandering bound souls of her comrades... busting out laughing while hiding.
So she wouldn't laugh while hiding. Silent as the cat emblem on her cloak, she crept along the rafters until she was right above where the lantern gleamed.
It was a macabre thing.
At least I'm not forced to carry one of those things...
She thought to herself, her decisions of the night put aside. Hadn't Triton mentioned this Kaiba, and hadn't he mentioned that they might become friends?
It would be worth a try.
She put herself into an easy sitting position on the beam, legs dangling.
She grinned. It wasn't disgraceful to make a noise on purpose, now was it.
She coughed, lightly but purposefully.

A low hiss emmited from the creature, bright yellowish eyes shooting upwards, more startled then he would like to admit he glared at the female sitting up in the rafters. "Thief! I should have known youd do something tricky" kaiba growled, his form going translucent as his decision fluttered between hiding and facing this woman.
"Honestly sneaking up around there, feh triton is such a fool, letting a female into his room in the first place" the now rather upset poe huffed hovering guardingly over their menial posessions.

Yoske narrowed her eyes. heh. it was a good reaction, if degrading. A garo, a common theif?!
Well, she would have some fun setting him right.
"Now, why would I want to steal..." she waved her hand at the belongings. "That?" she said in a low voice, sliding off the beam and landing like a cat, powerful and graceful. She was trying to make an impression, and felt that she was suceeding. She looked at the poe full on, trying to give him a good look at her eyes. He had felt something off about her, had he not?! Well now the lean and ugly poe would have his proof!
Garo training hadn't been all about being subtle, just about the creative use of it, and this poe seemed like a bold person.

The poe arched a brow, glaring at the woman as he let out a small short hisss. "Honestly, no manners mocking our things? Feh for all you know the most valuable treasures lie within these crappy leather packs!" he smirked softly, shrugging his shoulders as he slowly decided, the woman was no thief, though she was skilled like one. Hell better then one, impressive..That explained how she got past him without his notice.
"Feh show off you know I can float, I think that's a one up on you" rolling his eyes, even though he was a bit impressed, it seemed that triton hadn't met just any woman this night he'd met someone interesting.
Eyes switching from the ground, from the rest of her as he caught sight at her face..facelessness really, for she had none, completely covered save for her eyes. Kaiba gasped softly, bringing a dark fingernail to his mouth as he began to chew on it. "You...haha, your just as off as I am, if not more so. The idiot I bet he doesn't know does he!" he whispered harshly. Yes the woman was indeed off, like him in some perverse way, her eyes showed that much and he wondered what would he see if he could see the rest of her?

She laughed softly. "You can float, huh. So can my brethren. I can't, but I do not think I need to, do I." she smiled her hidden smile.
the smile grew wider as she saw the effect her eyes had on the poe. He had gotten the message. good.
"Your good companion did not even bother to guess. A good man."

"No..when you move like that you hardly need to, heh do you female? Che..." he hissed softly a smirk forming on his own face as he moved closer to her, gaze locked to her effervescent glowing eyes.
"Hahah! Him good, oh my dear hes hardly good..though he is indeed a man. Foolish and kind..but still a man." the poe nodded, he hardly thought anything well of the human race, not that he was good himself! No quite evil, he loved the evil in humanity that darkness that lied within the hearts of all the races.. Triton seemed to be an exception though, at least sometimes, something that he often disliked.
"I take it you like triton don't you? Hmm you dont seem to dislike him, chee I have to know, what'd he promise you to get you up here in the first place!" he had to know he hated pubs being with people, and so he was curious as to how triton had caught this interesting friends attention.

oops... maybe i shouldn't have said that... she thought, watching the poe,
But why should I be sneaky? This requires boldness. And why should i hide it? its not like a poe would care.

"A job? Ugh..your so..human in a way, your thoughts are at least!" he grinned cheekily. "Honestly if I had your talents feh I wouldnt bother getting a job, not with this loser at least" the poe shrugged folding his arms. "I mean there are so many other things you could do...ooh think of the riches the glory!" he cheered in his little hissing voice a certain gleam overtaking his eyes. "Bah..your just as foolish as he is though, ech an honest living? Pathetic, but it is your own choosing" the poe sighed shaking his head as he wagged a finger at the woman. Really it wasnt so hard to believe that triton had offered her a job..but the fact that she accepted it! SHOCKING!
"Soo, where exactly are you staying? Not that you need a bed, hmm or sleep I'd imagine" he teased lightly, deciding that he didnt like this woman, but he did love that bit of darkness about her. Her little secret, a lifetime of haunting and endless existence, that he liked very much.

"I stay active." Yoske said, standing up straight, "I was going to go either help buy a few supplies or see if I can find a quick job to occupy me for the night. Something dishonest." she added, eyes narrowed with wit.
"Besides. Riches are for those who could use it. What use have I for riches?! they just weigh down li... existance with coins and useless junk."
she was intrigued by this poe. He was so dark and evil. It was actually refreshing, just as triton's cheer had been.
"I take jobs for the interest and satisfaction, the rupees i get have such little use to me... heh... except as sharp projectiles."
She laughed softly. She hadn't thought about it before, but the crystalline rupees would make good throwing weapons...

Kaiba snickered for a few moments, so the woman did have a charming side didnt she? Cute! "Hee hee..buy supplies at this hour, hmm..That may actually be a good idea. Though I'm far more inclined to have you go off and do something dishonest!" a praising tone to his voice as he nodded.
"Heh, riches bring about such fun though? Tsk you must be terribly boring to be around sometimes" of course he didnt expect anyone to share his greedy feelings, and he did understand, money did tend to impact ones ability to travel. "Oooh, rupees as daggers! Thats actually briliant!" he laughed floating about for a few moments, quieting himself when the deeply asleep lump in the bed shifted..
"Feh, I think, maybe I'll enjoy it if you come along with us, maybe. " yes he might just enjoy her company "I have to say its been quite some time since I've seen another of my..our, kind" though she was quite diferent then him they shared at least some similarity's. "I have to know though, is that why your really coming with us? For the adventure of it?"
