Hi, I thought it might be nice to start a sort of bump thread except you list the scripures you read on the day you post:
It's bad but I haven't read any scriptures yet sweatdrop
I'll read Alma chapter 18 right after i write this. exclaim

Does your patriarchal blessing count? or the New Era or Ensign? (Not that you would quote them here - but just wondering what should count, like the Conference Report issues and not any others, etc.)
I am afraid that there are times that I will read a conference talk and fall asleep rather than go on to my scriptures if it has been a hectic, tiring day.
And for a while when I was under stress I would always read a section of the thought for a day book that President Hinckley wrote which included a scripture.

I'n not going to specify.
If you count it as scripture then that's good enough.

You should read in Jacob. It can really give you a good lesson. It shows so much spiritualality. When i read it i felt very comfortable and it was very interesting.

You shouldn't replace the scriptures with something else. The book of mormon is an important part of our daily lives. Heres a suggestion: read Jacob chapter 5 verses 50-51.
