Those are adorable!!! I love the usage of Gaia items. The color and backgrounds are very fitting. Great work!
You might consider taking your digital art program and doing a few overlays of texture or other minor alterations to your work. I think a bit of cloud fluff to the celestial one at between 65-80 opacity would give it a soft fluffy cloud-like feeling.
But that's just my suggestion. I think these are fantastic, and I thank you for sharing!

o_o oh... thanks for the input ^^ I don't really know how to operate layers and opacity or other stuff... to tell the truth I never used them on any of those >_>; I only paint bucketed them and get the shades by using only burn, highlight and smudge o.o Oh man, I really need to work on those... >_>;;

These are very cute. The little guy with the club made me smile. I can't say there's anything wrong with any of them. I like Lyssa's idea though. You could also try a few different variations using different filters like charcoal or colored pencil that would give it a completely different look. It's always interesting to see one thing in many different styles. I would normally do that in photo's, but i am kind of curious to see what it would do with this kind of artwork.

That is awesome! I love the bubbled checkered background on the right side, kind of messes with the old eyes.
The opacity settings and all that are pretty easy to figure out, it's the layering that tends to drive me a bit insane from time to time.

Those are great hon! Really! You do lovely work! What kind of graphics tablet are you using?
And sorry to not be here lately. We've had 'net problems.
For layer properties and altering them, it's pretty easy, no matter what program you use. In your main program tabs (File, Edit, ect.), you should have a Layer selection:

From there, you should be able to change the attributes on any Raster layer. (A transparent layer, whereas Vector layers are a solid color.) This includes opacity (transparency), and layer blending aspects, which will change both the transparency and the coloring of the layer you're working with.

My best advice with layers is to just play around with them. Open a few images and put them on separate layers. Maybe a tiled background for one and a picture of something for another. Play with the blend ranges and see what they do. Then play with the opacity. You get some great effects.
If you need some help, let me know please!
