The sun had just disappeared behind the horizon as Mitora crossed the boarder of her tribe land. She knew she had awhile before her tribe would need her back for the nightly chores. Ther had been so much drama in the tribe lately, she needed a night, or at least part of a night, a night away from her family. The moon was bright and forest in which she traveled was full of life.
As Mitora trotted down a path she often used on her nightly escapes, she wondered she'd run into any of the other nocturnal foxes she had met before. She longed for a new friend and a new adventure.
((crappy start yes but it gets things rolling I guess lol))

((Nah, it's fine. xD <3))
Vitali was about to jump from the branch of the tree he was in to the next one when his paws slipped and he fell...
Right on top of someone.
"Gah!" Tali said in a very undignified sort of way, scrambling to his feet quickly and stepping away from the (pretty) female. Shaking his head quickly to clear it, he scrambled to remember what Vitani had told him about meeting strangers (though falling on them hardly counted as meeting them).
"Uh, I'm- wait, no," He said, cutting himself off. "I mean you no harm," Vitali corrected himself, offering her a sheepish smile. "And I'm sorry I fell on you. I slipped,"

Mitora had been so deep in thought that she hadn't noticed another modifox around until they fell on her. She collapsed under the unexpected weight and laid there dazed for a few moments before she realized what had happened.
What did happen? Had she been sneak attacked? Mitora looked up to see a dark male trying to compose himself to apologize to her. He looked almost as paniced as she felt.
"You had wonderful timing on your fall." She smiled up at him. If he was apologizing then he must not be all that bad. Mitora stood and brushed the dirt from her fur before meeting the gaze of the sneak attack male.
"I am Mitora. I mean you no harm as well. Its nice to meet you... Even if you have a strange way of greeting strangers."

Vitali blushed and was suddenly glad his dark fur hid the intonation that sprang up around his cheeks. Modeities above, why did he have to be such an idiot?
"Sorry," Vitali said again, smiling meekly at her. "My sister's a little wary about strangers and she makes me do what she does too 'cause it's safer. I'm Vitali, though. It's nice to meet you too, Mitora," He smiled for real this time, adding, "What do you mean, I had wonderful timing?" He asked, tilting his head curiously at her. Did she mean he had good timing because he'd fallen on her, or because he was meeting her? Tali didn't know; Vitani usually handled the strangers.

It seemed that Vitali didn't adventure away from his family as often as Mitora had ventured from hers. "Well, in one way, you timed it perfectly because I had no idea you where there and instead of falling a second earlier where you would have landed infront of me, or a second later where you would have landed behind me, you fell right on top of me." Mitora smiled at Vitali who seemed a bit embarrassed of his fall. "Then again, it was perfect time because I was out her trotting about in search of someone who doesn't belong to my tribe and if you hadn't fallen on me, I would have passed you up." Though Vitali did take her by surprise, he seemed nice and friendly enough to eventually become a good friend.
"Oh, and you said you had a sister, right? That's neat. I have a twin brother"

Vitali nodded vigorously, saying when she was done, "Yeah, I have a twin sister. Her name's Vitani, and she's cranky," Tali laughed, shaking his head. "No, not really. Well, yeah, really, but...She's nice, 'least to me." Snorting, Vitali rolls his eyes at his sister before bringing himself back to his current focus.
"I'm not sure if me and 'Tani have a tribe or not, 'cause we were with these foxes for a while and then...I dunno what happened..." Vitali frowned, trying to remember exactly why he wasn't with the nice elder and all the other people he had met all those moons ago. "But I'm glad I met you too, 'cause I don't know a lot of foxes 'round here...or anywhere. Why did you want to meet someone who wasn't in your Tribe?" Vitali wondered aloud, thinking to himself that if he were in a Tribe, he wouldn't get tired of them.
Well, actually. He probably would, 'cause he got tired of everything. Not like Vitani, who had more focus and patience than a...focused, patient...thingy.

Vitali constantly held Mitora's curiousity. He was such an interesting fox. "You can't remember what happened to your tribe? Is it just you and your sister? Do you have parents?" For some odd reason, Mitora was full of questions now. She wanted to find out everything she could about this interesting new comer.
"As for me, I wanted to meet someone outside my tribe because, well for one thing, we've had a lot of drama lately with one of our elders and his kids. Apparently he had kids before he mated and had new kids and didn't tell his new kids about his old kids. Stupid stuff if you ask me." Mitora paused and swished her tail in thought before continuing. "Anyway, I also wanted to meet someone new because I already know everyone in my tribe. Rather well too, since we're a pretty tight family. And its fun to meet and make new friends. You don't have a lot of friends do you?"
Mitora smiled at Vitali, sat, and curled her tail around her. She figured she'd listen to Vitali speak more about his life and then maybe see what sort of games he liked to play. Even though she was an adult now, Mitora still loved playing games.

Usually, he would've been wary about someone asking that many questions about him. Usually, he would've let Vitani handle them in whatever way she saw fit.
But, tonight wasn't a usual night. So, he sat down and smiled, wrapping his fluffy tail around himself. "Well, the tribe we were looking at was a tribe of wanderers, and I think me and my sister got separated from them. I was a gatherer for the little time I was there." He grinned, then nodded again. "Yep, just me and my sister, for as long as we can remember. She says she remembers hearing voices from inside the BCR, but I think she's wrong." He shrugged indifferently. "If we have parents, we dunno who or where they are,"
He fell silent as she talked of her reasons for leaving her tribe, raising an eyebrow as she finished. "Jeeze. That sounds...confusing and drama-ful, you're right to want to leave," He agreed. "I like meeting new people too," Tali added with a grin. "Nah, I don't really have that many friends. 'Tani scares 'em off if she doesn't like 'em," He snorted, shaking his head. "My sister's a little weird like that,"
Vitali wasn't used to talking so much, but he discovered he rather liked it, especially to someone who wasn't his sister. It was nice, and Mitora seemed very nice. Screw tree-jumping, he wanted to stay here and talk with her.

Was he serious? His sister scared off potential friends if she didn't like them? Mitora stared at the black male in disbelief. "Your sister scares them off?" She gulped wondering what it would take to scare off some foxes. "My dad can be a little over protective but he doesn't mind me going off and having friends too much. If he doesn't like them he just glares at them a lot." She couldn't help but give a small giggle to a past memory of her dad being over protective of her. But then a different thought passed her mind.
"What about me? Do you think your sister will try to scare me away?" The hurt and worry in her voice startled her.
What did it matter if Tali's sister didn't want her around? Mitora knew she wasn't supposed to be outside of the tribe lands anyway. But still, Vitali was so interesting and fun to be around. He had great friend potential, she didn't want to lose him so soon.

Gah! Stupid, stupid!
"No, no! She'll love you, I'm sure." He grinned reassuringly and added, "'Sides, I wouldn't let her scare you off," Tali looked down, slightly embarrassed, and fell silent for a minute, then looked back up.
"She doesn't exactly scare off my friends if she doesn't like 'em, exactly...More like if she doesn't trust them, or if she thinks they'd hurt us," He clarified sheepishly, offering her a teeny smile. Greeat. He'd gone and ruined it! Stupid, stupid...
"I bet Vitani would like you," He said again, nodding his head slightly. "'Cause I like you, and she wants me to have friends. And you're in a tribe, which means you can't be all that bad," Vitali smiled again, a little wider, then shook his head. What was he saying?
"What about me? Think your dad would glare at me?" He asked, mostly kidding, but still...there was that nagging feeling that he really, really hoped he wouldn't. He didn't want to have to say goodbye to his new friend so soon. That just wouldn't be fair.

Mitora perked her ears up cheefully at 'Tali's quick and reassuring reply and grinned at him widely at knowing he wouldn't allow his sister to chase her off. That's odd though. He sort of looked... embarrassed. Nah. Mitora giggled at 'Tali's tribe reasoning. "How do you know I'm not in a tribe of thieves and evil foxes, huh?" She gave him her meanest smile and tried to look as evil as possible which lasted all of two seconds before she laughed.
Vitali has posed a good question. What would her father think about him? Mitora looked him up and down. His fur was so dark, but he looked strong. She observed the tips of his ears and the red streak (scar maybe?) over his eye. Oh and his eyes... and the design of his tail...... and the bit of white fur around his mouth.......
Woah. Mitora blinked and shook her head hard. Now that she really looked at 'Tali she realized he was sorta kinda really attractive.
"Uh..um.." She shook the daze from her head again and blushed, deeply embarrassed. "I don't see any reason daddy wouldn't like you. As long as you showed you were no threat to the tribe I think he'd grow to like you." She gave 'Tali a reassuring smile and nod.

Tali felt himself blush as he felt her eyes travel his body, but he stayed as still as he could for her, though he couldn't help but twitch his tail a little (he had never been one for staying still).
He looked up at met her eye, then tilted his head at the dazed and slightly confused look in them. What...? Shaking his head to clear it, Vitali chuckled.
"I know you're not in a bad tribe because you're not bad, and good foxes aren't in bad tribes," He said easily, smiling brightly at her. He let his eyes travel up and down...Tali had never thought that gray was an exceptionally pretty color, but on her...Phwoar. All the different shades, all the intricacies...Wow.
Realizing he was staring (and probably not breathing - the realization had hit him hard and fast), Tali shook his head slightly again, saying, "I promise, I'm not a threat to your tribe. Cross my heart and hope to die," Tali grinned and flopped over on his back, playfully pretending to die. Laughing, he stood back up and grinned crookedly at her, adding, "And I'm glad your dad would like me, 'cause I really like you and it would be sad to not be able to see you more often,"
Vitali halted as he realized two things simultaneously: One, he was rambling. Two, he liked her. Really, really liked her.
Vitani's gonna kill me.

Mitora couldn't help but laugh as Vitali feel over 'dead'. He was so silly, so easy to be around. She didn't even want to think about the possibilities of her father or Vitali's sister not liking them together.
"You know, I was thinking the same thing when you said your sister scared foxes away. You're so fun to be around and I haven't even been around you for more than a night! I would feel terrible if this was to be our one and only night together. And I know you're no threat to my tribe, even if you do have suprise attack entrances. Which I'm glad you did, 'cause I really like you too." Mitora stopped herself from saying any more. She knew she had already said to much. What did she mean by like? What did he mean by like?
She looked at the 'Tali in a sort of serious, almost passionate way. Is it possible that maybe this new black male could turn out to be more than a friend in the long run?
Gah! She souldn't be thinking about that now.
To break the awkward moment, she crowthed down low and looked up at Vitali with her best evil smile. "How do you know I'm a good fox? I could be just toying with your mind." She took two slow steps towards him. Though she was trying her best to be evil, Mitora couldn't help but happily, and unconsciencly, swish her tail with happiness.

Vitali could've sworn that he felt his heart stop when she looked at him like that. His eyes widen and he felt a smile tugging at his lips as he met her eye...What he wouldn't give to have her look at him like that all the time...
Wait, what?
Shaking his head lightly to clear it, Vitali let the smile come fully to his lips and wagged his tail behind him, then raised an eyebrow when she did her best 'evil' (which still looked angelic, at least to him) smile and took two steps towards him.
As he wracked his brain to remember how to talk slash banter, Vitali lowered his upper body to the ground and waggled his haunches in the air, grinning mischievously back at her.
"Maybe I'm just toying with your mind," Vitali said, though he was fighting laughter. He edged closer, paused, then pouncetackled her, grinning down at her when they'd stopped moving. "Gotcha," Tali said, though his voice was soft. He was completely distracted by their sudden closeness (Tali had some problems with thinking through...), and he let his eyes travel over her face. Vitali could've stayed there forever.
"I...uh...uh...S-Sorry..." Vitali said, though he didn't move off of her. After all, why should he? He liked their closeness. He liked her. Maybe...maybe she liked him too. Hopefully, she liked him the same way he thought he liked her...
But the chances of that were small, and Vitali knew that. Still, that didn't stop him from smiling hesitantly down at her and touching the tip of his nose to hers for just a second as he got off.
"Sorry," He said again, rolling onto his back next to her. "I just...I...sorry..yeah..."

Seeing as how he did fall out of a tree and land on top of her, Mitora knew very well that Vitali could be playing with her mind... and her emotions. But that was highly unlikely.
...Though he did look pretty convincing at the moment. He pulled off the big bad modifox look much better than she did. But he wouldn't really do anything.. Right?
It seemed as though, just as she thought it, she was pounced.
"Gah!" Mitora tumbled over and fell to the ground. She blinked and found Vitali on top of her for the second time tonight. Though this time it was different. More... intense.
Mitora was pretty sure she'd stopped breathing. She had never had such contact with a male fox before besides some play with her brother. Was this how it felt to be close to all guy foxes? Was it normal to so highly enjoy their touch? 'Tali was so warm compared to the cool air. Mitora could feel her cheeks warming as his eyes examined her.
Was he apologizing? For what?! Mitora tried to ask but nothing came out. She had forgotten everything. How to move, how to speak, how to breath, everything. Her eyes grew wide as she felt his nose brush hers as he removed himself from on top of her.
No, no, no! Why did he move? Mitora was startled at her crave for his touch. Get a hold of yourself! She took a moment to compose herself and regulate her breathing. Once she under control she rolled over onto her feet, stood, and looked down at Vitali with a caring smile.
"Don't apologize." She was still close to him so it wasn't hard for her tail to find his and wrap loosely around it. "It's alright."
