So yes. I go by the alias of George Knox. Most people call me George. There's a couple who call me Mr. Knox, and usually that's how I sign my posts and private messages, too. But really, that's nothing but pixels. I'm not really George Knox.
I'm actually a simple young man who most people call Matt. Occasionally the elderly call me Mack or Max, as they didn't hear me quite right, and sometimes people on the Southern California freeways call me names not mentionable in front of small children. Luckily, I have no small children, and I can't hear them over my radio anyways. At the ripe old age of 22, I am currently employed with UPS on the midnight shift, and spend my evenings at school, my nights at work, and my mornings sound asleep. I enjoy reading, and I really enjoy writing. I would like to be an accomplished author, but I realize this is not a wholly...achievable goal. Therefore, I shall write for my own joy, and I am currently making my way towards my degree in English (Education) and my teaching credentials. High school English, here I come. In my free time, I like to putz around the internet, and I very much so enjoy roleplaying. It's probably one of the (very) few things that kept me around after I was...coerced...into joining Gaia. I'm from SoCal, and as such, my favorite teams are the Anaheim Angels, the San Diego Chargers, and the Anaheim Ducks. Not really a big basketball fan, and I sure don't like the Lakers.
I think that pretty much sums me up, but if there's something you think I missed, or perhaps you're curious, just hit me up. I'm sure I'll find it in my heart to satiate your curiosity. It's just human nature.
-Mr. Knox

Thanks, guys. I feel all welcome and only slightly less alienated already. It's like I'm all warm and fuzzy inside. heart Or maybe that was the teddy bear I ate.
SND, I shall indeed ask if I have any questions. However, I must say that the way this guild has been set up could very well guarantee that particular situation shall never come to pass. If it does, though, you'll be the first to know. mrgreen
Jamais, I must say that I'm flattered...and also a bit puzzled. Clearly you have me confused with someone else. Clearly you have me confused with a far more charming, handsome, and all-around better roleplayer than myself. blaugh Rest assured, I try to not correct anyone's roleplaying, and simply offer forth constructive criticism where it is necessary. Punctuation tends to not be one of those necessary things. And, as a question solely out of curiostiy...does your name imply that you speak any French? I took four years of it in high school, and while I haven't used it in about just as long, I seem to remember enough. Don't go changing on us now, eh? wink

Holy... eek There's another Knox around here? That's so AWESOME!!! Yes, yes indeed I am welcome, oh brother in crime. What crimes is it that we are committing? Is it the "being too darn sexy" crime? Perhaps we're shattering the "You're not allowed to be that awesome" law? I know, I know.
It's a Knox thing.

Hi thar. :]
We sound a lot alike, strangely. Except I'm female, sixteen, and currently unemployed because the 'rents believe a job would interrupt my studies, which is completely untrue...
Anyway, I would love to publish a novel as well. I don't believe it's truly unobtainable, though. In any case, I write solely for my own joy rather than making a profit.
I would absolutely love to discuss your road to becoming a high school English teacher with you, since that's a career path I'm seriously leaning towards, but I've absolutely no idear how to go about getting there.
