Delicate Illness Extraction Technique - When a person has been afflicted by a pathogen or toxin, this medical ninjutsu can be used to draw out the agent and heal the damage. First the cause of the illness is determined by perceiving disturbances in the patent's chakra. Then, using a chakra scalpel, an incision is made into the affected part. Using their chakra, the medical-nin then draws out the agent, while simultaneously repairing the damage it caused.
After the agent is drawn out, it can be used to create an antidote or medicine, which can then be given to the patient to ensure a complete recovery. This technique requires the utmost care and ability in diagnosis and incising and unmatched chakra control. Therefore, it is considered an extremely difficult technique, even among medical ninjutsu. 5. Mystical Palm Technique - The Mystical Palm Technique is a multipurpose technique that can heal wounds and perform surgery. To heal with the ability, users collect chakra to their hand to speed up cell regeneration wherever it is applied. For the latter, the user focuses their chakra into a blade to make cuts where necessary, though because the blade is made of chakra the flesh is never cut. This aspect of the ability can be used in combat, though it requires great precision to be effective. When utilized in combat it allows the user to sever their opponent's muscle fibers or their chakra circulatory system at the point of 6. Nervous System Rupture - By converting her chakra into electricity, Tsunade is able to flip the opponent's nervous system signals to any part of the body. For example, if someone tried to move their right arm, a different part of the body would move in the way they wanted their right arm to move. However this technique can be overcome if a person manages to relearn how to use their limbs as Kabuto demonstrates. 7. Summoning Jutsu - (slugs. Background History: During her early years in the Academy, Sakura was frequently bullied by others due to her large forehead. To try and combat this, Sakura used her bangs to hide her forehead, fueling the other kids' teasing by indicating she was sensitive about it. Ino Yamanaka, realizing this, gave Sakura a ribbon to accent her face and help Sakura overcome her phobia about her forehead. As such, the two became good friends and Sakura was in time able to develop her own unique personality thanks to Ino. Despite this, Sakura felt she was living in Ino's shadow and longed to be able to prove herself as Ino's equal. When it later became clear that both were infatuated with Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura ended their friendship so that the two could properly compete for Sasuke's affection, beginning a bitter rivalry between the two.
Later, during the Chuunin exams the two rekindle their friendship but still consistently argue over guys. They mainly fight over Sasuke and lately, Ino has fought for Sai believing Sakura wants him for herself however Sakura denies this.
Sakura has a deep infatuation for Sasuke, rooted primarily in his good looks, cunning, cool attitude, and prodigious talents. Because of this, many of Sakura's early appearances are dedicated to her continuing effort to win his affection. As time progressed, and she began to know Sasuke more as a teammate instead of the cool, mysterious boy she had a crush on, she both grew to love him as a person and began to fear that he would eventually leave her in his quest for power. When Sasuke finally defects from Konoha, Sakura offers to join him in his self destructive quest for revenge rather than leave his side, an offer Sasuke refuses. She has since joined Naruto in his quest to bring Sasuke back, even adopting Naruto's notion to use force to bring him back to Konoha.
Sakura's relationship with Naruto Uzumaki, like with Sasuke, also changes throughout the series. Despite Naruto's crush on her, Sakura, as with the rest of the village, saw Naruto as a burden, and was less than enthusiastic at being assigned to the same team as him. Due to his attempts to win her heart, which in turn ruins her chances to win Sasuke's, Sakura viewed Naruto as a talentless idiot out to ruin her life. However, similar to Sasuke, as they spent more time together as teammates, Sakura came to realize that her initial view of Naruto was wrong. When Sasuke defected from Konoha, she turns to Naruto believing him to be the only one able to bring Sasuke back. As such Naruto would in turn dedicate his next mission and 2½ years of training to fulfill this promise. After the failed Retrieval mission, Sakura resolves that she will be there for Naruto from now on. When she learns the extent of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's relationship with Naruto, and the Akatsuki's goal to capture Naruto she has grown a desire to protect Naruto herself. Yamato would comment that Sakura may feel something more for Naruto while she was healing him after his four-tailed transformation, but the unconscious Naruto woke up before he could finish, only able to start the first letter of the next word, "l...". Captain Yamato was not the only one to realize Sakura's feelings for Naruto, Sai has brought up the subject before on their way to retrieve Sasuke.
Within Sakura resides "Inner Sakura," a manifestation of her inner emotions. In addition to comic relief, Inner Sakura represents Sakura's actual opinion on things when she outwardly displays something opposite. Inner Sakura's appearances are typically marked by an exclamation of "Shannaro!". The phrase has no literal meaning, but is usually translated as "Hell yeah!", "Hell no!", or "Damn it!", depending on the situation. The English dub, for censorship reasons replaced the aforementioned phrases with a forceful "Cha!" Inner Sakura is unique as it is in a way a second will within Sakura's mind. When the Mind Body Switch Technique was used on her, Inner Sakura was able to repel the user from her body, suggesting that inner Sakura is a split personality, as Sakura comments she is a girl with "two minds". Although she appears quite frequently at the start of the series, Inner Sakura all but disappears midway through Part I, and rarely appears in Part II. The reason behind this is that she no longer needs to hide her true feelings or reactions behind a fake smile, finally allowing herself to truly say whats on her mind. However, because Inner Sakura usually possessed somewhat violent reaction to things, Sakura is prone to violent outbursts which is not helped by a her chakra- enhanced strength.
As a ninja Sakura felt as though she was in the background, not being able to help anybody. Then in the chunin exams she made a resolution not to let anybody down and to be in the front line instead of falling behind. She kept this resolution when she asked Tsunade if she could become her apprentice after the mission to retrieve Sasuke failed in order to make herself better as a ninja and a person. After training hard for two and a half years she has finally been able to pull her own weight and creating a strong desire to protect her comrades. She has made herself stronger through her training with and still won't give up on saving Sasuke and Naruto. While Sakura does have a very strong personality in her, she also has a softer side.
After Naruto's 2½ year training Sakura was one of the villagers to greet him. She flirtingly asked him if she looked any different, though in complete ignorance to her reason, remarked she looked exactly the same. Not long afterwards she displayed some of what she gained from her training with Tsunade when she punched Naruto for attempting to reveal a new perverted technique that was designed to put the Sexy Technique to shame. Kakashi would gather the two remaining members of Team Kakashi together for another bell test, in which Naruto and Sakura had to work together to retrieve. Again Sakura shocked Naruto, and Kakashi as well by displaying her excellent chakra-enhanced strength. But even then it wasn't enough to slow down Kakashi. It was only Naruto's plan to spoil the latest entry of Jiraiya's book did they manage to get past Kakashi's Sharingan.
Team 7 was sent to help in rescuing him. After arriving in Sunagakure, Sakura was sent in immediately to help save Kankuro. Just in the nick of time Sakura used a highly advanced technique to save him and used the poison she extracted to make three antidotes. As Team 7 set out to pursue Gaara's captors, they were joined by Chiyo. After finding Gaara, Sakura and Chiyo battled an Akatsuki member Sasori, while Naruto and Kakashi follow his partner, Deidara. By guiding her as a puppet, Chiyo was able to help Sakura in avoiding Sasori's poisoned attacks, allowing Sakura to use her superior strength to destroy Sasori's puppets. As the battle progressed Sasori summoned a puppet of the Third Kazekage, which could create iron sand, and Sakura's strength was really put to the test. While fighting the Third Kazekage puppet, Sakura began to pick up on Sasori's movements and dodging his attacks. Even Chiyo was impressed with how quickly Sakura picked up on Sasori's attacks and stated that Sakura was doing well without her help. Sakura was able to destroy the Kazekage puppet by feigning unconsciousness and then using her insane strength to destroy the puppet when Sasori moved the puppet in to insure the kill. After this, Sakura displayed her considerable Taijutsu skills by destroying many of the puppets in Sasori's Performance of a Hundred Puppets Technique while Chiyo was busy controlling her Ten Puppet Collection of Chikamatsu Technique. When Sasori tried to kill Chiyo, Sakura used herself as a human shield to protect her, giving Chiyo the opportunity to stab Sasori through the heart. Even as Sasori stabbed her through the stomach Sakura began healing her wounds while the sword was still in her body. Despite her healing ability, Sakura's wound was too great and she didn't have enough chakra to heal herself fully. Chiyo used her Resurrection Technique on Sakura but because Sakura was not dead yet, Chiyo didn't have to give all of her life-energy to complete the resurrection. Before Sasori died, he rewards Sakura for her survival by telling her of a spy within Orochimaru's ranks that he was scheduled to meet in ten days from that day. As Chiyo surrendered the rest of her energy to perform the Resurrection technique to save Gaara, she said to Sakura not to give her life for an old woman and that someday she would surpass her master as a female ninja. Team 7 returned to Konoha, and now had an opportunity to find Sasuke with Sakura's newfound information.
After returning to Konoha, Kakashi was left bedridden, leaving Yamato to lead in his stead. Sai was also added to the team as Sasuke's replacement, though Sai's insults towards his predecessor caused conflict amongst the team. The meeting with the spy turned out to be a trap and Naruto was left heavily injured in his battle with Orochimaru. Sakura was simply shocked by Naruto's transformation and remembered how all that Naruto was doing is to keep his promise to her. When Kabuto commented on how this is now a fight between monsters and not shinobi, Sakura tightly placed her hand over her heart and ran after Naruto trying to stop and save him, but Naruto in his four-tailed form attacked Sakura with a single swipe of his tail, causing the poison from the demon fox's chakra to harm her, but luckily, Kabuto healed her. After Yamato supressed the demon fox's chakra from Naruto, which made him unconscious, Sakura healed his wounds, asking Yamato if there was anything else she could learn to be of more use in protecting Naruto. Yamato realized that Sakura wanted to be there for Naruto, so he reminded her that its the strength of her feelings for Naruto that counts. While Yamato was going to suggest that she felt something more for him, Naruto woke up before he could finish. After the group navigated their way to Orochimaru's hideout, they found Sasuke after much searching of the lair. Uninterested in returning to Konoha, Sasuke attacked the team, and Sakura did what she could to stop him. Despite their efforts, Sasuke managed to escape, and Team 7 returned to Konoha. Seeing Naruto devastated by his escape, she promised to get stronger along side him, in which she helped Naruto to get out of his sudden stage of depression
Sakura came to Team 10's aid in their fight against Akatsuki members Hidan and Kakuzu. Because Shikamaru Nara was separated from the rest of the group, Sai and Sakura were sent as backup for him, though upon arrival they found that Shikamaru had already defeated his opponent. Having not taken part in the battle, Sakura returned to Konoha with the others, and later healed the damage to Naruto's arm from the use of his new jutsu. Later Sakura joined Naruto and Sai at the Ichiraku Ramen Bar. Naruto had diffuculty eating and Sakura remembers touching words Naruto said to her. Based on this she offered to feed him. Naruto becomes greatly excited by this. Then Sai started feeding him instead to which Naruto furiously reminded Sai that if he should try that again he should be aware of the intimate moment Sakura and him were having.
As they left they encounter Konohamaru (in anime alongside with Udon and Moegi), who demonstrated some of his newly created perverted jutsu for Naruto, who having not grown out of his perversion, reacted in a way similar to Jiraiya. Although she berated Naruto and Konohamaru for their practice of creating perverted jutsu, she fell prey to Konohamaru's Sexy: Double Knockout Guys Technique, which took the form of a naked Sasuke and Sai in a suggestive embrace and reacted like Naruto did. Shocked at how she reacted, she tried to dismiss her outburst, but the others were unbelieving.
When news reached Konoha that Sasuke had killed Orochimaru and left Otogakure, Sakura and Naruto were the first to join Kakashi's 8-Man Squad and began the hunt. During her search, she barely missed a member of Sasuke's Team Hawk, Karin, and followed Deidara's suicide explosion to regroup. When Kiba caught Sasuke's scent, the group followed until they encountered Deidara's former partner, Tobi.
Extra Comments on Character: Sakura Haruno is a member of Kakashi Hatake's Team 7, originally consisting of herself, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha. Contrary to her teammates, Sakura did not experience any kind of tragedy during her childhood, however she was picked on. Because of this, she takes for granted things Naruto and Sasuke wish they had, most particularly a loving parent.

Combination Transformation An advanced form of the Transformation Technique, the Combination Transformation transforms two users into one being. One user usually provides the chakra while the other performs the necessary hand seals. Naruto uses this with Gamabunta in their fight against Gaara's full Shukaku form to assume the appearance of a giant fox (the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox in the anime). Kiba and Akamaru created their own variation of this technique with the Man Beast Combination Transformation: Double-Headed Wolf. The Sound Four used this during the Chunin Exam arc to disguise themselves as the Fourth Kazekage's Bodyguards (two in each). 4. Demon Fox Rasengan (Post Transformation) In his one-tailed form, Naruto uses the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's chakra shield to spin the chakra while using his own hand as a shell to form a Rasengan. In anime, the Demon Fox Rasengan took a more purplish color rather than the standard blue. In the second movie and video games, the Rasengan took a reddish color, similar to the demon fox's chakra. When Naruto fights Sasuke Uchiha at the Valley of the End, they end the battle with a Flapping Chidori and a Demon Fox Rasengan. The Demon Fox Rasengan is far more powerful and seems to be larger than the normal Rasengan, due to the demon fox's chakra.5. Fire Release: Toad Oil Flame Bullet (With Gambunta) 6. Flying Swallow This technique requires a bladed weapon. By feeding chakra into the weapon, the ninja will increase the length and density of his blade to strike an enemy from several feet out of the physical blade’s range. This is done by creating an invisible extension of chakra that shape into an edge that functions like the normal blade itself. Seeing the blade, the opponent may misjudge how far they need to move to avoid an incoming strike and thereby still be cut even if they manage to avoid the metal portion of the blade. The chakra-enhanced blades are strong and sharp enough to strike through solid rock or cut through iron. This technique works best with element chakra, especially with wind-type for offensive power. 7. Four-Tailed Fox Menacing Ball (Post Transformation) 8. Great Ball Rasengan 9. Harem Technique 10. Summoning Technique (Toads) Taijutsu: (if you know any special techniques) 1. All Directions Shuriken All Directions Shuriken is a Taijutsu technique utilized by Naruto Uzumaki. After using Multiple Shadow Clone Technique to create an enormous amount of shadow clones, the Narutos will surround their target and then launch their shuriken at them. This move is part of Uzumaki Naruto Two Thousand Combo. 2. Clone Spinning Heel Drop After creating several shadow clones, Naruto and his clones launch themselves into the air and begin to somersault. They then come spinning down, slamming their heels onto the target's shoulders and head. This was used against Raiga and forced him to fall down, as he fell off the cliff, he commited suicide.3. Uzumaki Naruto Combo Naruto's version of Sasuke Uchiha's Lion Combo, which is Sasuke's version of Rock Lee's Front Lotus. Naruto first revealed this technique when he defeated Kiba Inuzuka in the Chunin Exams. When revealed, Naruto made four shadow clones who when given the chance, kicked Kiba into the air with corresponding shouts "U!" "Zu! "Ma!" "Ki!", with the real Naruto jumping off the back of a clone, yells "Naruto Rendan!" as he kicks from above. In the English dub, Naruto instead yells "Na!" "Ru!" To!", "Uzumaki Barrage!" while doing the attack. Naruto preforms this technique differently whenever he uses it, which seems to indicate that he makes up most of the technique as he goes along. Unlike Sasuke's and Rock Lee's version, it doesn't seem to put any strain. 4. Uzumaki Naruto Two Thousand Combo A simple, in Naruto's perspective, upgrade to his original Uzumaki Naruto Combo. After using the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique to create 1999 clones, making a total of 2000 Narutos. Before they kick up the opponent, they use the All Directions Shuriken to stun the opponent. Like the original, the clones knock the opponent in the air while shouting the syllables of his name, and comes down in 2000 massive punches, as opposed to the kick the original had. It's safe to assume only Naruto could perform this technique as the amount of chakra to make two thousand functioning individuals can only come the likes of Naruto. Genjutsu 1. Kai- Release Personal Shinobi Information: Height: 166 cm Weight: 50.9 kg Personality: Before graduating from the Academy, Naruto had a craving for acknowledgment. He would play pranks all around the village in an attempt to be recognized by its inhabitants. This included, but was not limited to, painting graffiti on the monument depicting the first four Hokages, and transforming himself into a naked female version of himself to annoy his instructors. He would also tell everyone who doubted him on a near-constant basis that he would one day become Hokage. As he tells Iruka, he wishes to achieve this rank in order to be recognized by those around him, and to have the responsibility of defending them. Even after graduating, Naruto is still determined to be recognized, and becomes the "Number One Loudest, Unpredictable, Hyperactive Knuckleheaded Ninja" of Konoha, as described by Kakashi Hatake.
Naruto's exuberant personality and fiery desire for self-improvement strongly impacts the lives of those around him. At the beginning of the series, Naruto befriends Konohamaru, the grandson of the Third Hokage, and it is through his brief tutelage that Konohamaru learns that the path to success is through plenty of hard work. Despite his brash, headstrong, and even slightly dumb nature, Naruto is a clever prankster who overcomes his opponents through a combination of willpower, clever diversions, and more-often-than-not dumb luck (though as Kakashi states, luck is very important).
Naruto has a great sense of humor, albeit somewhat perverted in some cases, and usually smiles and laughs all round (though at times, he smiles to hide whatever is bothering him so no one worries about him; those who are closest to him see right through it). Outside his world, he's just an ordinary, loud, hotheaded kid with a fierce will and a knack for getting into trouble.
One of Naruto's hobbies is gardening, even though Naruto was beaten in episode 20 for not knowing the difference between weeds and herbs. He is the one who gives Kakashi Mr. Ukki, the plant seen on Kakashi's windowsill (Kishimoto once described how he had the same plant for a while until he fed it undiluted plant food).
Despite rapidly maturing throughout the series, Naruto retains a naive streak and a knack for childish accessories. For example, his pajamas always include a comical black nightcap with eyes and teeth. Naruto also keeps his money in a chubby, green-frog wallet he affectionately calls Gama-chan.
Naruto is an avid eater with an appetite comparable to that of Choji Akimichi's. His favorite food, ramen, serves as a bond between Naruto and anyone who would treat him to it. In many episodes, he can be seen devouring enormous servings of ramen in a variety of flavors. However, an opportunity to eat any sort of food usually leaves Naruto lying down and exclaiming, "Whew, I ate too much!" with an exaggerated pot belly.
Even though Naruto is usually quite dense in most cases, which often results in Sakura or someone nearby hitting him, he can actually be quite observant when he wants to be, or the subject tweaks his interest. During their first meeting with Rock Lee, it is Naruto who points out to the rest of Team 7 that Lee's hand wraps hide his battered and bruised knuckles, indicating Lee is the type of person who trains non-stop.
In Part II, Naruto shows physical growth, sports a new outfit, and appears to not only have increased in strength, speed, and techniques, but intelligence as well, Kakashi even said that Naruto has become very cunning. However, Naruto is still a Genin, since he hasn't had a chance to take the Chunin Exams again. According to Tsunade, Naruto is also slowly adopting some of Jiraiya's perverted traits. During his apprenticeship under Jiraiya, Naruto was able to read the latest of the "Icha Icha" series written by Jiraiya, although when he presents a copy to Kakashi, he says he thought it was boring.
It seems Naruto's feelings for Sakura have matured. He still has a massive crush on Sakura, however, he is much more mature about it. They have a very easy time communicating with each other, despite the nearly three-year separation. They are capable of having a casual conversation together. Each time, it had been based on the Clone Technique, which he could never perform properly. His third try ended up no different, and it seemed as if he'd have to go through yet another year at the Academy. However, he got an unusual break in the form of Mizuki, who tricked Naruto into stealing a forbidden scroll in order to steal it himself without being blamed. To do so, he claimed that Naruto would graduate if he simply learned a technique from the scroll. In an ironic twist, the jutsu he learned is the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, which is an enhanced form of the regular version. After learning the truth about Mizuki and subsequently beating him to a pulp for it, he was allowed to graduate for learning such an advanced clone technique. Naruto also learned about the demon fox from Mizuki, who told Naruto about it despite the taboo forbidding it.
Having graduated, Naruto was paired with Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha in Team 7. The three did not work well together, and having Kakashi Hatake assigned as their Jonin-sensei didn't help matters. Once the test stated, Naruto quickly got arrogant and challenged Kakashi directly. Even with the assistance of his Shadow Clone technique, Kakashi had no trouble brushing Naruto off. After the team failed the test, and Naruto was tied to a post for trying to eat his meal before earning it, Kakashi revealed that the true goal of the test was to emphasize teamwork above all else. However, Kakashi gave them another chance, and they passed the test by learning to think as a team.
With Team 7 officially formed, they started going on simple missions. Naruto, wanting to be challenged, inadvertently got Team 7 assigned an A-rank bodyguard mission for a bridge builder named Tazuna, though it was listed as C-rank due to misinformation on the client's part. In their first battle with two Chunin-level ninja, Naruto froze out of fear, while Sasuke calmly took on the enemy. Kakashi intervened before either was seriously injured, though Naruto was poisoned. Sasuke made fun of Naruto for his fear, beginning their long-standing rivalry. The rest of the team then had a conversation over what to do about the poison, all the while making Naruto feel like more and more of a burden because he froze. Finally out of frustration Naruto took action by stabbing a kunai into his wound to bleed out the poison, vowing to protect the bridge-builder and never freeze up again. Kakashi then had to bandage the wound out of fear of Naruto dying of blood loss, but it was seen that the wound already started to heal.
In a subsequent battle against Zabuza Momochi, a Jonin-level ninja sent by evil businessman Gato to assassinate their client, Naruto froze up again but upon seeing the bandage on his hand and remembering his vow, got over his fear and worked with Sasuke to free Kakashi from a water prison created by Zabuza. Despite their rivalry, the two made a perfect team and freed Kakashi, who subsequently defeated Zabuza. Zabuza was saved from death by Haku, who disguised himself as a hunter-nin and put Zabuza into a death-like coma. He departed with the body under the guise of disposing with it for security reasons.
While they continued protecting the bridge builder, Kakashi taught Team 7 to walk up trees using chakra. Sakura mastered the technique instantly, while Sasuke only got a short distance and Naruto couldn't manage to stick to the practice tree. While normally not one to ask for help, Naruto asked Sakura for pointers, and quickly caught up to Sasuke. The two served as motivation for one another, since neither wanted to lose to the other, and they mastered the technique in a few days. During their training, Naruto stumbled upon Haku, not knowing who he really was, and the two had a short conversation about protecting those precious to them.
This conversation served as a basis for their eventual battle, during which Sasuke seemingly gave his life to protect Naruto (Haku had in fact done the same thing to Sasuke as he had to Zabuza, but deliberately avoided telling Naruto). Enraged, Naruto subconsciously calls upon the demon fox's chakra and defeated Haku in a blind rage, despite Haku being even stronger than Zabuza. Though it appeared as if Naruto would kill Haku, he pulled back when he realized that Haku was the same person he met in the woods earlier. Haku, having no other purpose in life than to protect Zabuza and fulfill his dreams, asked that Naruto kill him. Naruto was eventually persuaded to do so by the story of Haku's past, but didn't get the chance. Haku, sensing Zabuza was in danger, instead killed himself by intercepting a fatal attack from Kakashi. Zabuza was initially indifferent to Haku's death, leading to a guilt trip by Naruto. Zabuza actually did care, however, and couldn't hide that fact after Naruto's speech. When Zabuza's employer betrayed him, Zabuza sacrificed his own life to kill him. As a final wish, Zabuza died next to Haku, hoping to be in death where he wasn't in life.
Profoundly affected by the mission, Naruto vowed not to become an emotionless weapon as Zabuza and Haku were (for the most part). At the end of the episode, when Naruto and company left, the villagers decided to name the bridge "The Great Naruto Bridge," as Naruto changed one character in the arc, Inari, who had lost all hope after his "father" died after Gato had taken control of the Wave Country.
Fresh from their mission in the Wave Country, Team 7 was admitted into the Chunin Exams. During this time in particular, Naruto made several friends out of former enemies, and grew much stronger through these battles. He also saw some of the other Genin in a new light.
During the first part of the exam, which was a written exam designed specifically to be too hard for Genin to complete, Naruto was left sweating over the fact that he couldn't answer any of the questions. He did not realize that the purpose of the exam was to cheat without being caught by the proctors positioned around the room. Hinata Hyuga, who was sitting next to him, offered to let him copy her test. Though not sure at first, he almost took her up on her offer. However, he heard the tell-tale sound of a moving pencil from one of the proctors, signifying that they see someone cheating, and decided it's best not to, since Hinata would get in trouble, too. Hinata was glad that Naruto really does care about her, protecting her from getting into trouble and having to forfeit the Chunin exams. The last question of the test, whose secret answer was merely the willingness to try, is where Naruto's attitude rubs off on the other Genin. Unwilling to give up, he proclaimed in front of everyone participating that he wouldn't be scared away, and as such many more decided to do the same than they would have otherwise.
During the second part of the exam, Naruto and Sasuke ended up in opposite positions as they had during Team 7's first battle. Sakura and Sasuke, having met Orochimaru after a giant summoned snake ate Naruto, were paralyzed with fear from Orochimaru's great intention to kill. Naruto, who wasn't there to experience it, not only killed the giant snake which had previously detained him, but fought off another one of Orochimaru's summoned snakes by using the demon fox's chakra. In this instance, he retained control. Sakura and Sasuke got their first look at Naruto's demon fox state, though they didn't truly understand what it meant. After pinning the giant snake, Naruto mocke Sasuke in the same manner as Sasuke had done to him. Orochimaru used the opportunity to grab Naruto and seal the demon fox's chakra, which remained sealed until after the preliminary parts of the Chunin Exam. Naruto was left unconscious for the remainder of the fight, and Team 7 only survived because Orochimaru never intended to kill them, only wanting to brand Sasuke with the Cursed Seal of Heaven. To complete this part of the exam, Team 7 and Kabuto Yakushi, a fellow Genin, were forced to fight off a group of Rain Genin, one of whom had attacked Sasuke earlier. Despite his own chakra being disrupted from the seal, Naruto defeated the entire team almost single-handedly using his clones, though a small distraction from Kabuto also helped.
Because of Naruto's earlier outburst during the first part of the exam, as well as a particularly skilled group of remaining candidates after that point, 21 people make it to the third part of the exam. This was slightly more than twice the normal amount, so preliminary exams were held to cut the numbers in half with one on one battles. Before the exams began, Sasuke admitted to Naruto that he wanted to fight him. Naruto was eventually paired against Kiba Inuzuka. Kiba and virtually everyone else present believed Naruto stood no chance, and Kiba even mocked Naruto's dream of being Hokage. Naruto, however, took everything Kiba throws at him, despite the clear advantage in Kiba's favor. Kiba gave Naruto one punch, which knocked him over, but surprising everyone, Naruto got up. Kiba managed to throw two smoke bombs and Akamaru attacked Naruto. Naruto appeared to be unconscious, but it turned out Naruto transformed into Akamaru to attack Kiba. Kiba was surprised that Naruto learned the Transformation Technique and the Shadow Clone Technique, which originally was his worst technique. Kiba gave Akamaru a special food pill and took one himself, and his increased strenth and speed completely overwhelms Naruto, but after a while, Naruto got an idea. After Kiba's next attack, which involved smoke bombs, Naruto transformed into Kiba, and everyone is confused on which one was Naruto and which was Akamaru. Naruto tricked Kiba into attacking Akamaru, but was still at a disadvantage. He paralyzed Kiba by farting directly in his face (Kiba was trying to attack from behind). Then, for the first time, dished out his Uzumaki Naruto Combo. Other notable battles included Hinata's battle against Neji Hyuga. Neji labeled Hinata as a failure and a dropout who couldn't change her fate, which enraged Naruto. After her utter defeat at Neji's hands, Naruto tried to attack him, but was stopped by Rock Lee, who insisted that a dropout defeating a genius would be sight to see, but should be done in a proper match. On Hinata's spilled blood, Naruto sweared to defeat Neji. Sure enough, he got his chance. Once the preliminaries are over, he was paired against Neji for the first match. The nine remaining candidates were given one month to prepare for the main matches.
Hoping to get a lot of training in during the month-long break, Naruto tried to get Kakashi to help. Kakashi, however, was busy training Sasuke, and left Naruto in the care of Ebisu. Ebisu began training Naruto to walk on water, but the training was cut short with the introduction of Jiraiya, one of the Legendary Sannin, three of the most powerful ninja alive. Ebisu caught Jiraiya peeping on women and tried to stop him. Not happy about the interruption, Jiraiya summoned a toad and had it tongue-whip Ebisu into unconsciousness. Minus one teacher, Naruto insisted that Jiraiya replace Ebisu. Always the insatiable pervert, it's Naruto's Sexy Technique that convinced him to do so. For the remainder of the month, Jiraiya taught Naruto to summon toads and use the demon fox's chakra, which was essential for the former technique. It was during this time that Naruto first summoned Gamabunta, who, after cowing Naruto into submission, agreed to make Naruto his subordinate. However, summoning the toad king landed Naruto in the hospital the day before the main matches begin. Shikamaru Nara came and brought him a fruit basket, but both Naruto and Shikamaru inadvertently catch Gaara attempting to kill Rock Lee, whom he had tried to kill during an earlier battle. During their confrontation, Naruto learned that Gaara contains a demon too, and that their pasts were quite similar. Gaara, however, only had one person acknowledge him, and that one person ended up trying to kill him. This drove Gaara insane, and convinced him that the only way to insure his existence was to kill anyone who threatened it. Gaara would have killed both Naruto and Shikamaru then and there, but Might Guy stopped him from doing so.
Once the main matches began, Naruto originally appeared outmatched once again against the genius Neji. Despite this, Naruto continually questioned Neji's outlook on life, even though every attack he tried was repelled. Neji eventually decided to finish the match by closing off Naruto's chakra points, but Naruto got up from this attack, too. Impressed, Neji told Naruto about his painful past and the cursed seal on his forehead. Neji insisted that Naruto could never know what it's like to carry a mark that will be with him till death, though this couldn't be further from the truth. Naruto used his shadow clones throughout the match, but when he finally tricked Neji, Neji uses his Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. Now all hope for Naruto seemed to have vanished completely, and even Hinata began crying, but Naruto remembered about Jiraiya's statement that Naruto has two kinds of chakra. Not convinced by Neji's reasoning, Naruto called upon the demon fox's chakra, surprising everyone even more, and instantly evened the odds. In the end, Naruto defeated Neji with the use of a shadow clone, which surprised everyone in the arena even more, as they thought Naruto was a terrible ninja who only beat Kiba through dumb luck. This convinced Neji that fate truly can be changed.
After the attack on Konoha began, Naruto, Sakura, Shikamaru, and Pakkun were sent to retrieve Sasuke, who was chasing after Gaara. Sasuke had injured Gaara during their battle, so Temari and Kankuro escaped with him so he could recover. During their pursuit, Shikamaru decided to stay behind to deal with a group of Sound-nin tracking them. Though Sakura was unsure if Shikamaru would actually confront them, Naruto had complete faith in him. He noted that Shikamaru is lazy, but when he actually tries to do something would always come through. Upon catching up to Gaara, Naruto was initially unwilling to fight him, since he was aware of just what Gaara was and Sasuke was unable to help. He was convinced to fight after Gaara captured Sakura and pinned her with a detached hand of sand, which suffocated her at a slow rate. Since defeating Gaara was the only way to remove it, Naruto got serious, badly damaging Gaara in order to protect his friends. Even in the face of Gaara's full Shukaku form, he refused to give up, summoning Gamabunta and destroying the sand creature with the chief toad's help. In the end, Naruto landed the final punch on Gaara, leaving him unable to move. Naruto's not much better off, but crawled his way to Gaara to make sure he was defeated. As he crawled, he admits to Gaara that he knew the same pain of loneliness, but wouldn't let Gaara kill the people who saved him from it. Though Sasuke stopped Naruto, he still managed to change Gaara's outlook on life.
After the attack on Konoha, Jiraiya was asked to become the Fifth Hokage by Konoha's elders. He declined the offer, however, and instead decided to locate Tsunade, also one of the Legendary Sannin, and have her become the Fifth. The elders offered to have an ANBU squad accompany him, but he refused. Aside from the fact that traveling with an ANBU squad would only make Tsunade harder to find, he already had someone he wanted to take: Naruto. Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki, two members of Akatsuki, were searching for Naruto, so Jiraiya was taking Naruto to protect him. Naruto initially didn't want to go, but Jiraiya offered to teach him a powerful technique, which instantly sold Naruto on the idea. Despite Jiraiya taking him along for the trip, Itachi and Kisame eventually found them. Using a hypnotized woman to draw Jiraiya away, the two attempted to kidnap Naruto. The arrival of Sasuke slowed them slightly, though only because Itachi was unwilling to finish Sasuke off. Regardless, the short delay was enough time for Jiraiya to arrive and force the two Akatsuki to retreat.
With the threat from Akatsuki gone, Jiraiya began teaching Naruto the Rasengan, an advanced A-rank technique, developed by the Fourth Hokage, that only required one hand and no hand seals to use; it's chakra manipulation in its purest form. Naruto was mostly left to learn the technique by himself, since he needed to learn the trick to doing it by himself. Jiraiya never told Naruto this, leaving Naruto disappointed. While they were searching for Tsunade, Tsunade was approached by Orochimaru, who wanted her to heal his sealed arms. In exchange, he offered to resurrect her dead brother and lover, and allowed her a week to consider the offer. When Jiraiya and Naruto finally found Tsunade, Naruto couldn't believe that she was going to be the Fifth Hokage. Her disrespectful remarks to both the position and the recently deceased Third didn't help matters, and he challenged her to a fight. Against one of the Sannin, Naruto had no chance, and Tsunade held him off with a single finger. Though he had yet to perfect it, he attempted to use the rasengan on her. She dodges this, too, and then berated Jiraiya for teaching Naruto a technique he couldn't possibly master. Naruto insisted that he could, and bet that he could learn it in three days. Naruto's personality reminded Tsunade of her deceased loved ones, so she took the bet, giving Naruto a week. If Naruto won, she'll accept that he can become Hokage, and give him her incredibly valuable necklace that originally belonged to the First Hokage. Her two deceased loved ones had also owned it for a time, and died soon after receiving it.
By week's end, Naruto still hadn't mastered the technique, but noted that he had an alternate means of completing it should it be necessary. Their bet was interrupted by the arrival of Orochimaru and Kabuto, whom Tsunade betrayed. Naruto was initially left out of the fight, but came to Tsunade's aid after Kabuto tried to kill her. It was during their fight that Naruto finally completed the rasengan, using a shadow clone to do what he could not do by himself. Kabuto was severely injured by the technique, but injured Naruto just as badly. Naruto was saved by Tsunade, who got over her hemophobia, or fear of blood, in order to save him. He regained consciousness just long enough to proclaim he won their bet. In turn, she gave him her necklace and accepted that he would become Hokage someday.
In the anime, a short filler arc involving a mission to the Land of Tea preceded this arc. This filler arc does little except reinforce Sasuke's point of view in the next arc. After returning with Tsunade and having Sasuke healed, Naruto recognized Sakura's feelings for Sasuke. Though still jealous, he was mature enough not to get in the way. Meanwhile, Sasuke brooded over the substantial progress Naruto has made in comparison to his own. Feeling inferior, Sasuke challenged Naruto to a fight. The two go to the roof of the hospital, where each voices their opinion of their rivalry, with Naruto insisting they're equals while Sasuke thinks otherwise. Their battle is short, ending with each trying to use their most powerful attack on the other. Kakashi stepped in to prevent them from injuring Sakura, who attempted to intervene. Kakashi deflected their attacks into adjacent water towers. At first, it appeared as if Sasuke did more damage, because Naruto's tower only had a small hole in the front while Sasuke's was greatly damaged. Later it was revealed Naruto's attack also blew a large hole out the back of the tower, demonstrating that Naruto's strength was greatly superior. Though Kakashi tried to convince Sasuke to give up his quest for revenge, his defeat at the hands of the Sound Four led him to defect to Orochimaru.
Naruto's friends hold off the Sound Four so Naruto could reach Sasuke. Once he did, the two have a much more serious battle, during which they each bring out their respective "gifts," those being Naruto's demon fox chakra and Sasuke's cursed seal. During the battle, Sasuke claimed that he didn't need any friends, as that did nothing to make him more powerful, since killing Itachi was his only goal. Naruto refused to accept Sasuke's decision, as by his own admission Sasuke was like a brother to him and he couldn't bear to lose him to the twisted path of self-destruction he had chosen. This drove Naruto to draw upon the demon fox's chakra to such a degree that he nearly overcame Sasuke's fully awakened Sharingan. As such, Sasuke finally acknowledged Naruto as an equal. In the end, the two used their most powerful attacks against each other once more, only this time enhancing the attacks with their respective gifts. They do not go through with their attacks, however. Naruto purposefully missed, instead scratching Sasuke's headband, and Sasuke didn't kill Naruto because he didn't want to become like Itachi (though this mentality seemingly changed in Part II as he now has no reservations about killing Naruto).
With Sasuke's successful defection, Naruto's main goal is to bring Sasuke back before Orochimaru could take him as his new host. Jiraiya, recognizing Naruto's determination, remembered his own attempt to stop Orochimaru from defecting. Though he clearly believed Naruto's goal to be foolish, he took Naruto with him for a 2½ year period of training.
When Part II began, Naruto reestablished himself in Konoha, after meeting some of his old friends again. Kakashi then took the remaining members of Team 7 for a second bell test, which even with their now excellent team work, the two couldn't take the bells from Kakashi by force. It was Naruto who thought of using Kakashi's obsession with the Icha Icha series of books to their advantage. Naruto and Sakura rushed Kakashi at once, with Naruto yelling spoilers for the new book, causing Kakashi to close his eyes, thus losing the advantage of the Sharingan, and his ears so he couldn't hear what they were saying, allowing the two to retrieve the bells. Afterward, Tsunade gave them a mission, a request from Sunagakure, to help rescue their captured Kazekage.
It was when Team 7 was on the way to Sunagakure that Naruto finally revealed to Sakura and Temari that the demon fox was sealed inside him. Sakura sympathized with him, as did Temari, who was very grateful to Naruto for the change in her little brother, Gaara. With this revelation, Sakura began to understand why the village hated him and why he was so alone growing up. Continuing on their mission with the help of Team Guy Naruto and his team got as far as to find Gaara, already dead, the Shukaku extracted from him by the Akatsuki, and the only members there, Deidara, and Sasori. In a rage, Naruto went after Deidara alone, after the latter used one of his clay creations to grab Gaara's body as bait to capture Naruto as well, with Kakashi deciding to back him up. While they chased him, Kakashi used his Mangekyo Sharingan to cripple Deidara, allowing Naruto and a few clones to grab and attack him, while another grabed his clay bird to retrieve Gaara's body, whom Naruto hoped survived. Seeing Gaara's body and releasing that the Deidara he was attacking was just a Clay Clone, Naruto became enraged. Kakashi watched as Naruto began to grow two chakra tails of the demon fox, to which he quickly suppressed before it was complete, using a seal Jiraiya gave him just before the mission. When Deidara escaped and Chiyo revived Gaara at the cost of her life, Team 7 and Team Guy returned to Konoha, with new information about Orochimaru's location.

Background History:At birth the demon gobi was imprisoned in Saito. For the next few years Saito's father trained him to become a ninja. He stressed training for Saito and constantly explained to him that a monster is inside of him. His father told him that if he doesn't get stronger someone would kill him. By the time Saito was 13 his father became terminally ill. That same year he died. Saito was on his own,so he began to travel. And one fateful day just as his father had predicted, assassains struck. Saito battled for his life, just barely managing to lose his pursuants.
Saito rested in a nearby cave. The attackers caught up with him and the battle continued. Saito was bested in this battle but the demon inside him wouldn't lose. The gobi poured power into Saito and he dealt a killing blow.
The next morning Saito awoke to mass panic and he was sorrounded by towns people. Saito tried to explain but the villagers turned violent. Saito fled.......4 years later Saito resurfaces to complete a mission.

Background History:At birth Kizune was a prophesized child he was born of the Motogai Head Family and was destined to rule the clan sice he was fist born. As kizune grew up his father and uncle tried to teach him the rules and regulations that he must inforce if he was going to rule properly. Kizune would not listen and kept telling them that he did not want to learn. At age 11 Kizune was brought to his first meeting in the Motogai Head Office. The men kept pressuring kizune to keep a steady head but it made him furious. He slammed his fist on the table and yelled at the councilmen"I Write My OWN Destiny!!!". The clone falls apart into its component bugs when struck. Because they're made of bugs, the clones can reform almost instantly. 5. Mushi Yose no Jutsu – Bug Gathering Technique or Insect Summoning Jutsu: By touching a surface, Shino releases a small web of chakra that draws bugs to his location. 6. Mushi Kame no Jutsu – Wall of Insects Jutsu: This jutsu uses the Kikaichū bugs living in Shino’s body as a shield by having them fly in a dome shape at high speed. The dome is strong enough to destroy incoming attacks, but can be disrupted with sufficient explosive force. 7. Kikaichū no Jutsu – Parasitic Insects Jutsu: The Aburame clan is famed for their use of insects in their jutsu. When a Shino was born, his body was offered to insects, called destruction bugs, as a nest. The bugs feed and live off the chakra that the body stores and in return the Shino gets to control and command the bugs, using them as their primary fighting technique. These bugs have the ability to drain chakra through physical contact with the enemy. 8. Hijutsu: Mushi Miyu – Secret Technique: Insect Cocoon: This unique jutsu is a secret technique that allows Shino to increase the speed of insects' development. As Shino's body is already a hive of sorts for the insects, Shino will encase himself in an actual cocoon to further aid the insects. This is an extremely useful move for him, since his attacks mainly focus on the usage of bugs. However, using this in the midst of a battle can be potentially dangerous as it leaves the user static and vulnerable. 9. Hijutsu: Mushidama – Secret Technique: Insect Sphere: By using the destruction bugs, Shino surround his opponent with thousands of bugs, making a globe of bugs around the opponent before to completely trap them. Once trapped, the bugs would normally drain the chakra and swallow their victim. If the victim was to escape from the globe, the bugs should be able to follow them instantly. The bugs covering the victims body also prevents movement which prevents them from using any jutsu to escape. This jutsu was used against Tobi, but he managed to escape by using a time space ninjutsu. Personal Shinobi Information: Height: 5’7”Weight: 125 lbs.Personality: Shino Aburame is a cool, collected, and solitary Chunin who is quite mysterious. He is portrayed as being somewhere between being merely stoic and matter-of-fact, rarely ever smiling or showing emotion at all; rather than thank his teammates for congratulating him on his victory in the preliminaries, he tells them that he expects them to do the same. He also has a tendency of holding grudges and being rather intimidating, such as seen when Naruto fails to recognize him in Part II, but easily recognizes Kiba and Hinata, despite him wearing clothing that covers much of his body.
Behind his reserved demeanor, though, Shino places a lot of value on his friends and teamwork. While he can often be stern with Kiba over his impulsiveness, Kiba holds his abilities in high regard. Shino gets along well with Hinata, appearing extremely concerned as she goes into cardiac arrest after her match, and believing that she has the potential to become strong. When Naruto, Sakura, Shikamaru and Pakkun went after Sasuke, he followed to help them.
Shino is extremely intelligent and consistently makes shrewd judgments and pinpoint reasoning which confirm his excellent analytical and observational skills. Like Shikamaru Nara, Shino prevails in battles by systematically staying several steps ahead of the enemy. Background History:Shino is from Naruto’s graduating year at the Academy, he was paired with Hinata and Kiba to form Team 8 with Kurenai as their Jonin leader.
In the first part of the Chunin Exams, Shino used his insects to read the answers on other people's tests. During the second part, his knowledge of insects allowed his team to take another team's scroll with little effort; when leeches attack another team (from the Rain Village in the anime, from the Leaf Village in the manga), they stumbled into a net trap.
During the preliminaries of the Chunin Exam, Shino was matched against Zaku Abumi, whom he defeated by plugging up the air tubes in his arms with bugs, rendering them useless. (In the manga, Zaku's right forearm was blown off completely when he tries to use the air tubes; in the anime they were merely riddled with holes.) He appeared very confident in his abilities, and demonstrated his strategic thinking in this battle. During most of the fight, he simply recommended that Zaku forfeit for his own good, a recommendation that turned out to be genuine, as well as a distraction tactic.
During the third stage, he was set up to fight Kankuro, who forfeited the battle in order to keep the abilities of his puppet, Karasu, a secret. When the Sand and Sound ninja began their attack on Konoha, Shino overheard Might Guy and Kakashi telling Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno and Shikamaru Nara to find Sasuke Uchiha. Shino decided to help by following Sasuke. He caught up just as Sasuke was about to battle Kankuro. He then challenged Kankuro in Sasuke's place, claiming that Kankuro was his opponent, allowing Sasuke to continue chasing a fleeing Gaara and Temari. During the fight, Kankuro managed to poison Shino with some gas from Karasu. Shino, however, had placed a female insect on Kankuro beforehand, allowing his insects to track down Kankuro and drain his chakra. Shortly after Kankuro was defeated, Shino lost consciousness as well, regretting that he wasn't able to follow Sasuke. His father, Shibi Aburame, later arrived and uses his bugs to draw out the poison from Shino's body.
Shino was the only male of the Rookie Nine left out of the mission to retrieve Sasuke Uchiha, having neither been recruited by Shikamaru nor having gone after the group like Rock Lee, having been on a mission with his father at the time. Shino felt some bitterness and guilt over the matter, and felt a strong obligation to help with the attempt to find Sasuke, he strongly believed that if he was helping Shikamaru, the mission would have succeeded.
Shortly after Naruto's confrontation with Mizuki, and a subsequent lack of any information on Orochimaru's whereabouts, Shino led Team 8 and Naruto to find the Bikochu Beetle, a rare insect with legendary tracking abilities. During this arc, he demonstrated his intelligence and cunning in battle, as well as his hobby of observing and collecting bugs. He also explained a former rivalry between his clan and another insect clan from Hidden Rock that uses bees, the Kamizuru clan.
This arc shows how well their team works together and how much they care for each other. It also shows that he is good friends with both Kiba and Hinata, despite him being so mysterious. Although he and Naruto didn't get along at first, they do become good friends. During the last confrontation between the Kamizuru clan and Hinata, he explained and understood every step that Hinata took to change herself. In addition, he believed in her, allowing her to fight the bee-users alone while Naruto attempted to intervene. Despite this, Naruto farted on the Bikochū, causing it to follow his scent, and rendering it useless. He and Kiba helped Hinata to train herself and develop her Protection of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms ability.
Shino also appeared in the Land of the Sea arc, this time being paired with Naruto and Ino under the command of Anko. They were ordered to find out what was terrorizing the country and defeat it if possible. Here, they met two old enemies from the Chunin exams, both of whom were working for Orochimaru. He and Naruto got along a lot better in this arc. He's shown having more confidence in Naruto, and worried about him when Naruto was separated from the group, but knew that Naruto will be fine. He engaged Yoroi Akado in battle during the group's raid on the laboratory, and fought him alone so that Naruto and Ino would be able to reach Amachi. His battle resumed outside, during the battle over the ship carrying the payment, and he defeated Yoroi with Ino's help.
Shino was sent on another mission with Naruto alone to Motoyoshi Village, where Shino was to be a stand-in for a man named Fuuta. The goal of the mission was to not laugh during a funeral. Fuuta would lose his inheritance otherwise, and the ever serious Shino was sent as the perfect weapon for this task. However, due to sabotage (being drugged with a poison that causes one to faux-laugh), Shino had to sit out - leaving Naruto to attend the funeral in his place. Shino, unable to play his original role, learns that the man the funeral is for wasn't actually dead, and conspired with him to get everyone at the funeral to laugh, posing as the old man and using bug clones to take the form of the man's children when they were young. The man had staged the funeral to get his family to laugh once again. At the end of the mission, Shino threatened Naruto to keep him quiet about his discovery of Shino's sense of humor though he never actually mentioned what he would do if Naruto told anyone.
Shino had a supporting role in the Kurama clan arc, as while Kiba complained about Kurenai leaving the team, Shino suggested that it was her decision to do so. He also correctly guessed that Kurenai was lying when she said that she sealed Yakumo's abilities out of jealousy, noting that while her hands were trembling when talking about her past, they stopped when she gave her reason. His bugs proved useful against the Genjutsu techniques used by the Kurama clan members and Yakumo, as according to him, insects' simpler nervous systems are harder to manipulate. He used this knowledge to see through the Genjutsu. Shino sent his bugs into the room where Yakumo was holding Kurenai in order to save his sensei, only to see them come back. He reunited with Kurenai after the Idou's defeat.
Extra Comments on Character:As said before, Shino may seem to get into many arguments with Kiba, but Shino has high respect for Kiba. He holds that grudge against Naruto for a pretty long time, too.

3. Kawarimi no Jutsu - Substitution Jutsu
4. Jūjin Bunshin – Man Beast Clone: A modified version of a Transformation Jutsu, this jutsu allows Kiba to transform Akamaru into a perfect copy of himself. When combined with the Ninja Art of Beast Mimicry: All Four Jutsu, Kiba and Akamaru become virtually impossible to tell apart, since both act equally animalistic. Like any transformation, the jutsu can be broken by identifying and attacking the animal, thus dispelling the transformation. This jutsu is often followed by Fang Over Fang.
5. Man Beast Combination Transformation: Double-Headed Wolf: Using a modified form of a Combination Transformation, Kiba and Akamaru transform themselves into a large, two-headed wolf, with great resemblance to Akamaru. In this form they use Wolf Fang Over Fang.
Taijutsu: (if you know any special techniques)
1. Gatsūga – Fang Over Fang: Kiba and Akamaru spin at a ferocious speed and deliver many powerful beast-like attacks when contact is made with the target. The force of this attack is strong enough to drill through stone. This attack can be done alone, although it is less effective.
2. Garōga – Wolf Fang Over Fang: After Akamaru uses Dynamic Marking to mark a target, both he and Kiba use Man Beast Combination Transformation: Double-Headed Wolf to become a large, two-headed wolf. The two then perform a much more powerful Double Piercing Fang attack. Like the lesser version, they spin rapidly to attack their target. Unlike the previous version, however, they move so rapidly that they can't see where they're going, hence the reason for the earlier Dynamic Marking, which allows them to track their opponents via the distinctive scent. This attack is powerful enough to cut a person in two, and even dent a Rashomon gate. Even if the attack misses, its speed is so great that the surrounding air can slice like a blade. Such power is not without its drawbacks, however. Not only does this attack effectively blind both Kiba and Akamaru for its duration, but it tires them such that they can only perform it twice during Part I before requiring rest.
3. Shikyaku no Jutsu – Ninja Art Of Beast Mimicry: All-Fours Jutsu: This technique grants accelerated fighting instinct. By stretching chakra around one's entire body and moving on all fours, one obtains super-high speed, like that of a wild animal. Their nails grow to claw-like length and and they grow noticeably stronger. The form is best suited for hit-and-run tactics.
4. Tsuuga – Tunneling Fang: Kiba spins at a ferocious speed and delivers many powerful beastlike attacks when contact is made with his target. This attack is done alone but it can be done with Akamaru, making it more effective (Double Tunneling Fang).
5. Dynamic Marking: This jutsu involves Akamaru urinating on a target, allowing both him and Kiba Inuzuka to track it by scent. The two practice this in the forest, and Akamaru is accurate enough to hit multiple targets in rapid succession. This is a prerequisite for using Double Wolf Fang, since the speed of the technique makes it impossible for the user to see while using it. Akamaru's urine is apparently caustic, given Sakon's comment that it burned when Akamaru urinated in his eyes.

Personality: Kiba is often short-tempered and impulsive, in stark contrast to his teammates Shino and Hinata, and can be prone to making mistakes when he is agitated in battle. The fact that he enjoys the company of combat, as well as a habit of showing a joyful smile when facing a particularly strong opponent indicates that he's willing to risk his life for a mission. He deeply cares for Akamaru, and is willing to do whatever is necessary to protect him. And despite his rather gruff attitude, many of Kiba's actions reveal that he's very close to his older sister, Hana Inuzuka, and remains fiercely loyal to the Inuzuka clan.
Kiba often argues with Shino over what course of action the group should take, particularly when Shino advises caution. Kiba often sees himself as the group leader, and becomes offended at any of Shino's actions that he perceives as challenging his leadership. It seems as if there was a contest for the leadership of Team 8 during the Chunin Exams because Kiba says Hinata voted for him. Despite his disagreements with Shino, he considers Shino a friend, and respects his fighting capabilities. Kiba gets along well with Hinata, but tends to worry about her, urging her to be strong before the second phase of the exam, and forfeit rather than face a dangerous opponent.
Kiba apparently likes to tease Hinata about her affections for Naruto. These teasings usually manifest consist of telling her that Naruto is near or just mentioning her reactions to him to other people, much to her embarrassment.

Background History: Kiba is a graduating student in Naruto’s year at the Academy. He was paired up with Shino Aburame and Hinata Hyuuga to make up Team 8 with Kurenai as their Jonin.
During the first phase of the Chunin Exams, Kiba uses Akamaru to spy on the other examinees' tests and tell him the answers. During the second phase of the exam, while Team 8 easily took an Earth scroll from a rival team, Kiba wished to acquire yet another to narrow the competition, despite Shino and Hinata's reservations. In investigating a confrontation between two teams, they witnessed Gaara killing three Rain Genin, and Akamaru was traumatized by the sight.
Kiba was matched against Naruto in the seventh match of the preliminaries. Kiba thought that he would easily win, since Naruto was the worst student at the academy. Naruto then got very annoyed at Kiba. While Kiba initially had an advantage due to his superior speed and strengthening Akamaru with a soldier pill, Naruto tricked him into knocking Akamaru unconscious, then after farting in Kiba's face (overwhelming his sense of smell and disorienting him), defeated him with the first use of Naruto Uzumaki Combo. Kiba regained consciousness on the stretcher, and urged Hinata to forfeit if she was matched against Gaara or Neji Hyuga.
A month later, at the finals, Kiba watched the match between Naruto and Neji with Hinata. He appeared to have gained respect for Naruto at this point, as when he heard Izumo and Kotetsu doubting Naruto's abilities to win, Kiba remembers how he thought the same thing during his match with Naruto, and ended up losing. He also very loudly cheered for Naruto during the match. After Kabuto healed Hinata when she begins coughing up blood, he rendered Kiba unconscious (after Kiba started to remember him), leaving him unable to assist Konoha's ninja in the invasion.
Kiba is the only member of Team 8 to assist in trying to stop Sasuke Uchiha from defecting from Konoha. After Naruto seized the container holding Sasuke, a letter bomb (set by Akamaru) exploded and knocked Kiba, Sakon and Ukon into a gorge. Kiba and Akamaru fought against Sakon and Ukon, but despite using their Dual Wolf Fang against the brothers, are ultimately outmatched. Kiba retreated with Akamaru, and both were eventually assisted by Kankuro, who trapped and killed the brothers with his puppets. Kiba was wounded with severe but not life-threatening lacerations, but Akamaru had suffered much harsher damage; tendons in all four of his legs were ripped. After Akamaru recovered Kiba swore to never let anything happen to him again.
Kiba makes a number of appearances int he anime's filler arcs, often being sent on missions with Hinata and Naruto. He typically fights with Naruto over who should lead the team.
Kiba, Hinata, Shino, and Naruto are sent on a mission to find a Bikochu Beetle that can be used to track down Sasuke Uchiha. They go to the forest where the Bikochu is, but there are some ninja of the Kamizuru clan watching them that want the insect too. After Hinata s able to locate and capture the insect, she is taken prisoner by the Kamizuru clansman to be used as an exchange for the Bikochu. Kiba and the others go to rescue her, but try to trick the Kamizuru into giving them Hinata before they give up the Bikochu. They are tricked too, being attacked by the Kamizuru when they meet and subsequently trapped in a cave. Hinata is able to rescue them, but the mission fails when Naruto makes the Bikochu useless.
Kiba, Hinata and Naruto are assigned an easy task of capturing a crook. In searching for information about the crook they meet Sazanami that is pursuing the thief too. Sazanami told them that the thief, Gosunkugi, is a dangerous killer and also a skilled ninja. Sazanami says that he doesn't want any competition and knockes them all out. When he is later wounded fighting Gosunkugi they take him to safety, in turn discovering that he is also a wanted criminal.
The bounty hunter reveals that he was framed for murdering a family and that the thief that he and Kiba's group are hunting is the culprit. Kiba, Naruto, and Hinata locate the thief in a nearby city, in the process of attempting to steal a valuable bell. Sazanamo arrives and the four start fighting with the allies of Gosunkugi, that actually was a trap just to them while the thief steals the bell. Sazanami captures the thief, but he's suddenly captured by another hunter, only for Sazanami to be proven innocent in the end. Despite this, Kiba's group fails the mission because they did not capture the thief.
Naruto, Kiba, and Hinata are once again teamed together, this time to find a treasure chest. They were given a mission to test their teamwork, and told they will return to the academy if they fail this mission like they had their previous ones. They are ambushed during the mission and are trapped by three people who can copy their identities, smell, thoughts. Working together, the group escapes from a cave-in with the treasure, but learn that Hinata injured her leg. After realizing that Naruto and Kiba argue too often while Hinata worries for the others too much, they head into town to stop their copies. When they arrive at Konoha, Kiba and Hinata defeat their copies, but the one of Naruto is still on the run and causing a lot of trouble. The three Genin learn that the mission was a test to see if they could work together as a team, and that they passed it with honors.
Kiba's relationship with Akamaru is highlighted in the Kiba's Long Day episode. After Akamaru was infected with a biological weapon that caused him to go berserk, Kiba believed that Naruto was trying to find and kill Akamaru, and attempted to take Akamaru out of Konoha. Kiba eventually stopped resisting when he learned Naruto and Hana's true intentions, but was paralyzed by the prospect that their plan may still require them to kill Akamaru. He eventually regained his senses and appealed to Akamaru, causing Akamaru to regain enough of his true self to avoid killing Kiba, and allowed him to administer the antidote.
Naruto and Kiba continue to be teamed together, proving successful in their missions to a haunted castle, escorting a man named Shinemon, and providing backup for Kurenai. In the last episode of the filler arcs, when some ninja try to steal Gaara's power, Kiba and the rest of the Konoha 11 are sent to help the Sand ninja. Kiba and Choji go to help Kankuro in thanks for helping in the fight with Sakon and Ukon. Kiba defeats the enemy and then they go to Gaara's help.
Extra Comments on Character: Kiba may have the same attitude towards things like Naruto, but he argues with him all the time and he calls him a loser a lot. Kiba has his arguments with Shino, too. They argue like there’s no tomorrow, but Kiba has high respects for Shino. After all, they are teammates. I think that Kiba and Akamaru make a great team!

Background History: How Hidan was born to the time he left is pretty much unknown. However, when his home village was deteriorated from being a shinobi village to a tourist attraction, he grew enraged. After all, shinobis were meant to kill, not wear funny costumes and entertain like they were a bunch of...well, you get the idea.
After slaughtering his own neighbors, he left the village and joined the cult known as Jashin. Slaughtering was the only thing that would do. Anything less than complete destruction was considered a sin. This is mainly the reason why Hidan wears that necklace. He either prays to the god that he has a good kill or, when he isn't allowed to, for forgiveness.
When Hidan actually joined the Akatsuki is unknown. But his reason for it is 'Religion.' After all, he was allowed to slaughter anyone and anything except The Bijuu. When he joined the Akatsuki, he was partnered up with Kakuzu, probably because Kakuzu couldn't kill him during his fits of anger. After all, a dead Akatsuki would do them no good.

Creates a genjutsu that gives the enemy a false sense of security by putting sakura fields with a very tempting aroma. However, the smell is actually a poison gas emitted from him. Can cause fatality if the genjutsu is not somehow broken.
Mouko: Kakure Ryuu no Jutsu!
Makes Mouko double his total status in speed, strength, defense, etc. But effects will go away after one minute.
Hyou: Kurai Narakunosoko no Jutsu!
Creates a genjutsu, letting the enemy believe Hyou has the sharigan. To make it more believable, hyou can create the Mankekyo Sharigan. No effects from the sharigan are possible. Goes away when genjutsu is realized without using Kei (Release)
Nue: Tsume Shikon no Jutsu!
Her tail becomes solid steel but being five times harder than diamond. Can use this tail until chopped off (The base of the tail remains fleshy) or when is killed.
Koneko: Kosiraemono Ta-Kage Kuroon no Jutsu!
Creates five other Konekos. Normally not used in combat.
Kirizame: Monotori Kogane no Jutsu!
For the summoning jutsu, it makes her defense go up. For the chakra base, jutsus have less of an effect.
7. Rikikan Reppuu no Jutsu – Only can happen when all cats are summoned, jwhich isn’t possible for the summoning jutsu. Combing mind, spirit and body, she creates the ultimate form – a cheetah. Survival rate goes way up and only the most efficient attacks can harm her. Covered in a aura of darkness, only jounin and up attacks, not including forbidden and bloodline attacks, can do any damage.
8. Neiribana no Jutsu – Causes the user to lose half of it’s conscious, or more blunt, paralyzes the user to be able to see into the eyes of the summoned or chakra based cats.
9. Shimin no Jutsu – Loses entire conscious to be able to control the summoned or chakra based cats and allows them a voice. Can not do this with all nine cats, but can talk with one or the other.

Personality: Kyoku is someone who, above all, likes to be entertained, entertaining herself, or doing everything in her power not to be bored. Waiting during a mission is different, however, because she does little waiting in them anyhow. She normally sends her cats to do her bidding or something and peer on them every so often. Basically, she wants a thrill in her life. What else could a ninja ever want?
When bored, however, Kyoku will do anything from small missions she makes herself like ‘Mission: Retrieve groceries for my house’ or something silly to absolute suicidal things. An example would be is she had spotted an Akatsuki member, she would taunt with her cats, or even reveal her own self, just to toy and play with them. However, though strange, Kyoku is not sadistic.
Kyoku is a very kind and caring woman, but normally being alone, she isn’t very socialble and hard to win over in terms of a lover. Being her friend, however, is something she desires so it’s quite easy. Though, she is always skeptical because most jounin and higher, and even a few chuunins, non-ninjas and genin, know of her dark secret – the secret that she isn’t from this village.
Kyoku has never once raised her voice to an order, following it and completing it without fail. If she managed to fail a mission, she would go and tell Lady Tsunade herself, with the expression that was like a fatally wounded puppy. Kyoku has a giant pet peeve, though she never wanted to voice it, for the lazy, laid-back, and people who would do absolutely anything to not move.
Kyoku also has a sense of humor that rarely comes out, due to the fact she isn’t a people person. Kyoku also is a very bright person. She is sneaky, she is everything a ninja could ever want – but Kyoku is not physically strong. But she has been able to break genjutsus, dodge taijutsus and ninjutsus. Kyoku also has an extreme soft spot for genins, for she knows that they want to succeed, but most likely, they won’t.

Background History: From the age of birth to about seven years old, she hailed from Otogakure, from the famous Ongakuryoukou family. They were known for their stealth and cat chakra, as people would call it, summoning cats using pure chakra – that was not their own. Little by little, however, her family started to slowly die from missions, diseases, and unknown assassinations. Kyoku was too young to remember them, but she swore to this day that the destruction of her clan was planned.
However, shortly after her seventh birthday, a large fight broke out from a surprise attack from Konohagakure. This slaughtered the remaining family members she had, including her mother and father. Kyoku to this day holds no vengeance in her heart, knowing that Otogakure had done something wrong to provoke this large nation. She was left there and found by the Third Hokage himself.
He assumed that he or his comrades had finished her entire clan, and there was nowhere for her to go. She was now an orphan, and a young one. Taking pity, the old man asked the young Kyoku to come to his village. Kyoku, feeling no attachments to her own village, agreed. The Third Hokage knew of this girls’s special skill and welcomed her into the village.
However, the villagers had known and the news spread fast, until eventually, due to the safety of the girl, the Hokage had to tell the people that she will be a loyal ninja to this village and her skill would be exceptional. Despite the fear never draining, Kyoku would indeed prove herself useful. Starting academy, she struggled a lot. She had no jutsu down that she couldn’t do right and had failed the first time around. However, determined as ever, Kyoku attempted to try again, until the old man saw her efforts were useless. Her talents led her down a different road from normal, and the hokage instructed her to a personal trainer.
There, she developed her own jutsu, her bloodline, and therefore ‘graduated’ and was promoted to genin. There she had her own squad. Both members that she was with and the jounin that taught her are now deceased, but this happened after her rank of Chuunin. With her stealth moves, she was able to be extremely helpful to her team in long range battle, but stayed hidden in short range.
In four years, now 15, she became a chuunin. The other two were genins and were both caught and killed on a mission they had with another jounin, who had survived to witness the attack. Three shrot days later, her sensei had also died in battle. Grief washed over her, because her only friends and even her sensei were dead. Getting the feeling she was like a cursed cat, she started to shut herself out.
This caused her to work on her special jutsu, and also changing her symbols from Oto symbols on her cats to Konoha, symboling her loyalty to the village. Here, she perfected her special combination jutsu. At the age of 18, due to her miraculous time and rate, became a jounin. She, however, never got a team of genin from 18 to 22 because she felt she couldn’t.
She would be too soft, tempted to make them all pass. She also wouldn’t want genin to look up to an ‘outsider’. She, basically, was downgrading herself as an individual of this village and never decided to try to be put up with a team. To this day, Kyoku is regularly sent on solo scouting missions, guard tower duty, or watching out for the academy students and genins alike.
