I personaly think that the 360 owns over all of them, basically because it can play everything on the ps3, and play most of them better. I can't judge the Wii because i've never played one before. and i don't play computer games all that much.

i origonaly had a playstation, then got a playstation 2, but then the current gen of games came arround and i just had to have an xbox because of what was on there, one game i love to compare the two with is dynasty warriors 6, i've watched a video with side by side videos of both being played at the exact same time at the same place in the game, and the 360 dominated it over with graphics.

XBOX 360!!!! For these reasons, it's way more affordable than the PS3, all of the good games will be coming out for xbox(Developers don't like Blu-Ray), Sony has tried this massive format switch before(Beta Max anyone?) it's all just a ploy to make you spend more money to buy something that's comparative "Improvements" are debatable. Oh and Ps3's version of Fallout 3 won't be getting any DLC(HA!) but my main quarrel is the price(And their overly cocky attitude((and the fact that they act like douche bags to people who criticize them)))

um I can't tell the difference in the picture quality, not that it matters, I don't have an HDTV. Plus, no, I don't think your paying more for more, I think you're paying Sony a whole lot for not very much(almost any game you find for the ps3 can be found for the 360, and the ones you cant who cares? the japanese style of RPG is and has been out-dated, no one likes being herded through a game, not now anyways((thank you Bethesda))...and the online thing is inconsequential. And just as an added bonus here's a question, when all of the consuls(360, wii, and ps3) came out and they were all found to have problems, did Sony ever do anything for everyone that had a faulty system? Because what I heard suggested that they didn't do a damned thing originally, where-as Microsoft and Nintendo were right on it, and continue to be. But the main reason for not liking the ps3 is Blu-ray, 30 bucks for a movie that I can get for literally half that or less on DvD seems absolutely ridiculous. I don't care how much better they claim it is, it's expensive and I don't want to have to go out and buy all my movies and stuff over again, its just stupid. But hey it's a good idea from a buisness point, make everyone switch over to something more expensive so they'll have to rebuy all of they're stuff is great, if you were greedy evil and ridiculously sure of yourself.

Ummm yeah sony did do something about it. And i know your saying they didnt because someone else who doesnt like it told you too. But anyways the only problem ps3 has ever had is the over heating thing and thats because people dont keep the vents cleared so then it over heats thats there fault not sonys. And the whole blu ray thing is better because of the quality and they wouldnt charge you that much if it wasnt as good. And if you dont wana spend 30 bucks on a dvd thats your choice you dont have too. But from the looks of it it is better then normal dvds. And i still think that the online thing with ps3 is better but then again like rabit says its depends if you like playing online as much as some people do.

Lol yes i have actually. I own a flat screen in my room and its hd and i think its much better quality. That must mean if it takes more money therefore it has more technology therefore it must be better. razz And that may be true but then again who in america cares about how many xboxs are being sold in Japan? I know i dont.

im gonna say this: My ideas on the differences about the consoles are as follows......

The Nintendo Wii (own one): Its pretty much like Rock Band. Its is EXTREMELY fun to play with your friends, and fair to play by yourself. But, its not Rock Band 2 (which is amazing), meaning there are better things you can buy. Another example is its like upbeat happy music that makes you laugh (ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny, Peaches, Its the end of the world by R.E.M.) Most everyone likes this type of music in one way or another, if they have it.

The Xbox 360 (I'm not really sure of to many people i know who don't own one except me): It's Like Halo 2. Lots of hype, publicity, what have you, and it did not disappoint. Lots of ways to beat an opponent, contests made to see who is the best, all sorts of stuff. And its really fun to play. Another example is its like music groups like Nickleback, and.....idk, country? That seems like a good enough example. People love the music, it has lots of meaning, and LOTS of people like it. People just love it.

The Playstation 3 (Only like 2 of my friends own them, and they swear by it): Its like the Halo 3 Legendary really expensive edition with the helmet. Like I said, really expensive, but also had a lot of really good features to it (so I've heard). But, unlike the other systems, not everyone can afford it, and not everyone is gonna find a use for everything it can do. Plus you can't even wear the helmet. Again with musical examples: Metal, Techno, Gangsta Rap, Jonas Bros. Not a lot of people will go to these extremes, but those who do are die hard on them. You know when you've met a metal head, a "gangsta wigga what have you", and prolly a Jo Bros Fanatic (god help you). There is nothing you can do to change their mind on the subject. They honestly believe that its the best.

And finally the Computer (we all need one nowadays): Undoubtedly wins hands down no matter the competition. You can find emulators to play the different games from each console on your computer, there are controllers you can buy that match the different console ones exactly, and even the Wii-mote can be used as a mouse on your computer (if you have Blue-tooth on your compy and know where the to find the program.) There is no compromise on connectivity, you can get a laptop and go anywhere and game, customize it infinitely, completely upgradable, what have you. It wins. And music wise don't even try and think of something. There is no style of music that compares cause no one will agree with you.
