There are actually many factors that help with this specific cause, but let me explain the crucial ones that are a problem at a large range.
First!
Let me clarify a few things for you people, I, more than anyone else would like to finish Veltz as soon as I can, But why? simple, because I have some other projects in which I want to work on, such as the story "Destiny Chronicles", "The Outlawed", and another one that til date doesn't have a name.
Now, I don't make much progress with Veltz because of college, homework, and others things that have to do with daily life (video games, music, resting, etc.)
But that's not the only limitation I face while making Veltz.
This particular story originally had a script that I wrote around 3-4 years ago, which means that a lot of the characters shown so far were recreated for a better purpose.
Also, the main script has been changed quite a bit, but the structure has remained the same, which means I've changed the order of things, added a few extras, corrected the introductions of others, etc. and all of this took a whole lot of time, and while I write the dialogues, which in my opinion are weak, I have to keep fixing them (the script only has important dialogues).
But all the writing isn't what delays the comic the most, what really does the trick is the panels itself.
If you look carefully, most comics are drawn on a single page with all the frames in it and then inked/colored, but that's not my case because I use a single page for just one frame, so, when you see 6-7 frames in one page, those are actually done individually in different pages and then resized.

But why all the hassle, knowing that the first option is better? well, that's because I want to avoid this:

Frames in which you can't tell what the hell is going on, so I try to draw each panel as clean and clear as possible, not too many panels per page and with a good size so it can be easier for you to read.
I know, it takes two, three months for me to post an update of only 6-9 pages, but please bear with me, because sometimes I have to fix things with either the "art" or the script, and I promise you, the pace of the comic will improve, but it won't be forced.
Thanks for reading, and as you can see, I'm already working on the next update (the picture was taken a few minutes ago).
