There will be at Lake Eola on January 10, this Saturaday, at 1 pm a rally against Israel. All those that are Israeli, or support Israel, or are against Hamas and the war, please be there to halt this rally. It doesn't matter if you are Jewish, Messianic Jewish, Catholic, Christian, Rasta, Seventh Day Adventist, Muslim, Druze, or Bahai. Coming together and showing that religion doesn't matter in such cases of right and wrong will help to stop this. Tell everybody you know about this.
The fact it is being held on the Saturday, the Jewish Shabbat, shows a lot. I will try to be there myself.
Several months before hand the Muslim Council of UCF held a debate about Israel and Palestine, yet because of the time they held it few Jews were there to debate. They held the debate on a Friday night during shabbat when most of us are at home or shoul with family getting ready for Shabbat. It was anounaced on the Valencia boards and UCF boards.
It's time we break the rules.
If you are a Gaian Jew and you live in the area of Orlando, please come to help protest against this rally.

A counter protest?
So long as the cops outnumber the protesters and counter protesters and have a large steel barricade between the two...
there shouldn't be too much of a problem.

DanskiWolf How are you going to "halt" this rally? They're not... they're going to do a counter protest. One side will have signs that say "They're Right" Another side will have signs that say "They're Wrong." And with any luck at all, they will have several police officers standing between the sides.

Oooh, I remember once a group of anti-Israel people showed up at a walk in support of Israel we were having. The police made them leave. biggrin

We are going to do a non-violent protest, and we are going to give out quotes from the Quran that actually support judaism, and Israel. While giving out a list of sites that show what Hamas has been doing.

Truth be told, one of the big main reasons Israel is in Gaza is to get rid of Hamas and to help smuggle Palestinians out of Gaza and into Israel and West Bank. Something that a lot of people do not realize.
The son of the leader of Hamas is pro-Jewish and pro-Israel for crying out loud and speaking against Hamas. Also here are a few things that people do not know. Spread this around.

The people of the book are Jews, Christians, Sabians, Muslims, Druze, Bahai, Rasta, and many others. And yet Israel and jews are still murdered and pursecuted by many muslims in todays world. I'm Jewish and I know these things. It's sad that I know more about Islam than many muslims. Real Muslims are few in this world today, and their numbers are declining due to hate toward them by other Muslims. Such examples of these Muslims would be those that fight for womens rights in Pakistan, are pushing for progress in Saudi Arabia (with very good results), speak out against terrorist organizations such Hezbollah, Hamas, Taliban, and so forth; and feel either indifferent toward Israel or are allied to it.
