Family: Blessed youngest child of Kazan and his lifemate Sadiki.
He is the only son and has two elder sisters, Zoe and Kurai.
Zoe is the impulsive eldest of the three; Kurai is the wayward middle child.
Personality: Recondite.
The youngest of the trio, and only son, serves as a mediator between his two sisters. Zoe often can't understand why Kurai stares vaguely off into space, not responding to Zoe's insistent cries for attention. Kaelas translates the wayward sister's ever-changing moods.
He is his father's pride and joy- though Kazan loves all his children- serving as his father's eyes and ears when the trio goes off to play. Kazan trusts his straight-thinking son to keep the other two out of trouble; to always ensure that Kurai returns home safely- and that Zoe does not inadvertently cause harm to herself or others.
Inquisitive and curious, he is always asking questions- though he phrases them in such a way that the elder being interrogated never really feels like they're being cornered, their mind wrenched open as the little colt flings haphazardly through its contents in search of something new and exciting.
He will mature into a stallion worthy of the temper "recondite." Capable of great thought and philosophical discussion that rivals even that of his beloved father, he deals daily with profound and rather obtuse subject matter that is well beyond the capability of your average Soquili to deal with. Obscure and witty, he is quite capable of conversing intelligently with any opponent.

Personality:
Chiron actually has two personalities, one pre- and one post- the shattering of his horn. He is currently, obviously, post-shatter. x'D
Pre-shatter:
(In a nutshell, For references' sake)
A superlative unicorn, idolized by many in his small herd, always willing to lend a hand; chivalrous to a fault. He was away on a routine check of the neighboring forests, seeking out any creatures in need so that he might lend a helping hoof, when a Skinwalker attacked his herd. They scattered, panicked, trying to find their leader beneath the gnarled branches.
He had been called away by a young foal whose mother had a broken leg, and was too far away to hear his herd's desperate cries.
He returned to find every one slaughtered. Stricken by grief, blinded by rage and sorrow, he vowed to avenge them.
It didn't go so well- the Skinwalker left him alive, barely, deciding that it was a crueler punishment to leave this noble steed with a shattered horn and broken heart.
Post-shatter:
All he had left was revenge, yet the Skinwalker he sought was not to be found. All his efforts were for nothing, for the Skinwalker was already dead.
He wanders the land, uncertain of his place in this world. He has no purpose; What good is a broken unicorn? A healer who cannot heal, whose kind words and tender support are now tainted by his own grief? He was driven to partial madness by this despair.
He is no longer recognizable as the superlative Healer of old. This once valiant stallion has turned virulent, erratic tendencies causing many to view him as a malignant and sadistic savage. There are times, in the moments of his waking, when he forgets that his herd is gone, his grim failure, his darkest hour. Those moments do not last long.
Anyways, he's a little off-kilter but not thoroughly evil. A pleasant or malicious Soquili might tilt the balance in either direction. xD

Personality:
She is cryptic, her recondite nature rendering her capable of wielding whichever sentiment most fits her current design- whether it be to deceive with sly finesse or merely to influence another's opinion of her. However, she always possesses a certain... charm. An allure, seductive and desirable, though imparting a peculiar feeling of unease in Soquili of a gentler nature.
She may be a Uni, but she is no pure mare of infinite virtue.
She grew up under the shadow of her superlative brother's chivalry. Whatever she did, she could not live up to his infinite wisdom and leadership. Instead of succumbing to jealousy, she let her charming nature work its wiles on those around her until both siblings were viewed with equal favor.
The leader of their small herd, her brother failed to protect them from a Skinwalker's cruel intentions and after confronting the beast responsible for that barbaric act, was left wounded and near-death, his horn shattered and his mind with it. This once valiant stallion has turned virulent, erratic tendencies causing many to view him as a malignant and sadistic savage. There are times, in the moments of his waking, when he forgets that his herd is gone, his grim failure, his darkest hour. Those moments do not last long.
She was young, barely out of foalhood, at the time of the attack. She survived only due to a passing Angeni's ambivalence- she was whisked away and healed by her own kind, though she did not stay long... though she displayed all due courtesy, she could not bear to be so near a loving herd so soon after her own's demise.
She has never quite forgiven her brother for his failure (without him, the herd crumbled in the chaos of the attack- they needed their leader to instruct them on proper defense technique, to be at the head of their counteract, to be there- and he wasn't. How could he allow those Soquili to become so attached to him, to become so reliant on his prowess, that they would perish in seconds without his pressence?) Though she heard of her brother's survival- stories brought to her ears by those who were fascinated with the ruby-red stallion's brief returns to sanity- she has never sought him out. Afraid, perhaps (though she would never admit it, even to herself) that he would blame her for their herd' demise, too...
She matured free from any restraint her herd may have offered, and now wanders from place to place, encounter to encounter... a cryptic mare who charms her way through her life, never staying, never lingering for longer than a fleeting moment... never forming any lasting bonds.
Until, that is, she finds someone worthy of... her constant attention.

Family: Father abandoned children with mother, realizing that there was no place for him there. He had been chosen by Sadiki Iah as a suitable mate for his beloved daughter, and complied simply to please the odd stallion; he never had any feelings for the mother, seeing it as simply a means to an end.

Personality: Polished; Benevolent; Loving
Naturally shy,it was doubtful that the little filly would stray far from her Mother's loving embrace. Venturing out occasionally when prompted by her adventurous sister Shinyun, even then she lingered hesitantly at her younger sister's side. A strong survival instinct causes her to view every shadow as a possible threat, to peer anxiously at the land about her, expecting an attack around every corner.
She grew out of her state of near-paranoia as she neared adulthood, but remained quiet and soft-spoken. The burden of being the First-Born weighs heavily upon her; she feels that it is her duty to protect her younger siblings, but just doesn't feel strong enough to shelter them from harm. She turned inward, and found strength within.
Though she has lost contact with her wide-spread family, she is now lovingly lifemated to the charming Pádraig. Theirs was a love from the first moment, and will last through anything that comes their way.
She has grown to be a truly benevolent mare and caring mother.

Akiyo is an altruistic mare whose self-sacrificing tendencies always get her into trouble. She puts the well-being of others above her own safety, a ranking system that means she often appears to be "reckless" or "dare-devilish."
She has a kind, fun-loving spirit, and a good heart. She may tease gently, with a twinkle in her eye, but she would never rub an old wound or push another to the verge of tears. She is serious when the situation calls for it, but prefers to radiate a certain joy.
Though she is a pleasure to be around, few Soquili have stuck by her side- she helps them, they move on. Such is the way her life has been.
