Hey, this is the Shadow Arena. Feel free to come in and post whatever you want. You can fight, Role Play, or just chat. Other things will be added later. Have fun! Rules:
-The rules are simple and easy to follow:
1. No flamming
-Making fun of people isn't right, so just don't do it, ok?
2. Most literate wins
-This deals with RPing. Trust me, bad things can happen in conflicts like this. I know from experience. sweatdrop
3. Cursing
-Cursing is now allowed, but still keep it miminal. If you don't like the cursing appearing here, please activate your Word Filter. Click here to read about it.
4. Cybering
-Not only is this not allowed here, but not allowed on Gaia at all. No cybering here, thanks.
5. Ranks
-Kinda listen to us in the higher ranks? Like the Guardian or a General. We are here to help.
6. Have fun!
-Just have fun! You can RP, fight, and do whatever you want (As long as it doesn't break da rules).So if you wanna fight, just make sure whoever you're fighting knows about it, and agree on what you can do. Please, enjoy your time here! RP Fighting:Alright, this is a style of RP Fighting we'll use. It was mostly started by Crimson Hell, but added to by most members here! Please read them, follow them, and enjoy. 3nodding -Custom rules are allowed. You should follow these rules, but you can change some. An example, if you want to fight without weapons, just have all fighters agree on it, and you're fine. First one to use a weapon in that style of fighting would be disqualified. And you can do the same for anything, such as only using weapons, or no 'energy/magic/ect.' attacks, and so on.
-Each person has maximum of 10 posts to the fight. This way, you have to ultilize your moves, instead of beating the crud out of the person for a few hours, until someone has to leave.
-In the post, you have the option of (but not limited to) attacking, dodging/blocking, ect. You can attack, or block. Or, hell, even dance if you really wanted to, I guess.
-Judges (which can be any experienced member of Shadow Arena) will decide who wins a fight, based on what happened. Remember, literacy helps. 3nodding And if it's needed, a Guardian or Leader does have the right to overrule the call on a fight, which proper reasoning, of course.
-Take turns. It's just not right that a person should have a disadvantage because they're running on a slow internet connection, is it? Just take turns an alternate the posts between each fighter, and things'll be fine.
-Number you posts! Trust me, not only will this make things MUCH easier for the referee of the fight, but it can help you as well. By knowing what post it is, you have a constant feed on how many posts you have left.
-The best way to win a fight is not only to beat the opponent, but to be most creative. Be original, descriptive, and do your best with correct spelling and grammar. Anyone can punch, but it takes a true fighter to make it effective. If you're creative and descriptive, you'll have a fighting chance.

Custom Arenas are allowed. You can feel free to make or create your own custom arena, just be sure to follow the rules for it.
1. Custom Arenas must follow all normal rules that the Arena of Shadows would.
2. Fights in Custom Arenas will be official, but only on several conditions. Firstly, we have to find the time to judge them. (Judges can be any normal member, but anyone with higher rank may overrule the calling, if they feel the decision was biaist, or have proper reason). So don't expect all of the fights to be judged and/or recorded. We'll do the best we can though.
That's pretty much it for the rules thus far. They may be updated at any time, so watch out. wink
