Optional Gaia Word Filter Feature
Gaia Online is happy to introduce a feature on our forums for those who prefer not to see the excessive swearing and profanity on the site. Accessible through the Account Page, enabling this word filter will slightly alter basic profanities. Gaia Online remains committed to free and open speech by it's members, and has made available filtering tools for those who wish to use it.
It is important to note that the Word Filter is off by default for registered accounts, and must be enabled. It only changes what is viewed, not what is inserted into the database. Only those who opt to filter their swearing will see the censored version of the words.
