 Basic Details Name: Zulimar Parents: Shalima (not created in Soquili) and ? Siblings: none Children: Tiaret, Devious, and Kosomot History: Zulimar arrived in these lands purely by chance; she was going to meet her mother, Shalima, and Shalima's new mate when she lost her way... now she can't find her way back, though she would DIE before admitting it. The first soquili she met here was Valarauco, a kalona stallion with some rather special views that piqued her interests. Enough for her to, at least, keep tabs on him, and chat with him occasionally. She is upset with the apparrent 'weakness' of the kalona in these lands, and that attitude led her to couple with Valarauco in an attempt to strengthen the kalona blood here. They had three foals, and Zulimar is quite pleased of the fact she bore two girls- mares to carry on the purity of her blood. And Valarauco's, of course. Valaraco and herself have gone their separate ways, though she maintains strict contact with each of her children. She plans on taking no chances and letting her progeny dirty her bloodline. If they look to be weak, and potentially going to cause her bloodline to become polluted by Others... she's willing to terminate them. Simple as that. Zulimar was raised in a herd beyond the mountains; she got lost and found herself here, and now can't find her way back. When she was a foal, her mother had her daughters hunt their brother as their first kill. They didn't know any better. When they got older, the daughters had to fight each other for the right to be "heir" to the herd. Zulimar won. She also took down a younger sister who moved against her. Zulimar is a sadist; she doesn't hunt to kill, she hunts to hurt. She will leave her prey alive and walk away, not even caring since she's not hungry. She "wastes" as it were, but very rarely- only when she's at her breaking point. What I am looking for * Allies * Enemies * Donors - (aka breeding partners, as she isn't the type for romance)

 Basic Details Name: Odile Parents: Sigmund (Not created in soquili) and Elspeth (Not created in Soquili) Siblings: Odette Children: None History: Odile was raised in a small herd of angeni. She had no brothers and sisters until Odette was born. One day, Odette and Odile went for a flight, and Odette fell. Odile blamed herself, and on some levels, she still does. The soquili that Odette met that started to heal her is Angel, an angeni mare and one who started showing Odile that it was not her fault Odette died. It was not as if Odile pushed her down to the earth. And in so doing, Odile started healing again. Odette had locked so much of herself away in her pain that she became something base and animal. Little of her true self showed when she first came to soquili. In reality, Odile has a wicked personality, with a love of teasing people. She will do no one deliberate physical harm, but she was known for her sometimes hurtful pranks when she was in the heavens. It is certain that that bit would have changed due to the emotional pain she suffered. She used to be a runner and hider, but thanks to Angel she started to heal. She has found her sister alive and well, but that... that is drama all it's own. (I will eventually finish that rp so everyone can read! hehe!) As it stands right now, she is switching between anger and normalcy, with nothing to tell when that switch will flip. She has realized she suffered for years, and the entire time she punished herself, her sister was in the heavens thinking Odile herself was dead. She is "sane" again, with serious, SERIOUS anger issues. What I am looking for * Friends * Enemies * Potential love

 Basic Details Name: Reflection Parents: Echo and Khalon Siblings: Dorian, Sigao, Resonance, and Daphne Children: none History: Reflection is the child of Echo and Khalon. His father is a warrior, and Reflection has grown up with the sense that while Khalon loves his other two sons, he is disappointed in the choices they made. Dorian he knows to be haughty and self-absorbed... as for Sigao, he has never met him. As such, Reflection feels compelled to take upon his father's 'burden', and assist where he can to combat what his father feels to be a rising threat among the kalona. He, however, cannot see himself acting with the same blind prejudice as his father. He feels torn between duty to his father, and the desire to spread his own 'wings' as it were. What will he decide, in the end? Will he choose differently than his father wishes for him? He fights like their father teaches him, but he loves like his mother. Truly and deeply. His own life means nothing to him, only the lives of those he loves and those he has sworn to protect are important. Reflection never lies on purpose except to protect someone, and even then he is evasive more than lying. What I am looking for * Enemies * Allies/Friends * Romance (potential)

 Basic Details Name: Selene Parents: Unknown. She considers Calamity her father, Rahu her Daddy, and Tehya is the closest thing to a mother. Siblings: None she is aware of. smile Children: Yue Shuang and Chenguang History: Selene was found by Tehya and Citlalli one day as they were preparing to go on a long adventure. This prompted the two to remain, and Selene came from her basket already feeling as though she were loved, and wanted. She met Tehya's 'friend' Calamity, who became like a father-uncle to her, and one day she also wandered across Rahu, who became her Daddy. The one thing that Selene never got was a REAL family. She knew that while the people around her loved her, they were not blood-family, and it was something she craved. So she approached a stallion she knew to be friendly, and gentle, and asked him to have children with her- no strings attached. The problem here is that over the course of their 'romance', Forrest fell in love. Selene, however, did not. Forrest professed his love, Selene spurned it, her mind thinking only of the pain that she went through every time she tried for a child. Luckily (for her, at least), when she left him she was with foal. She let the stallion know the child was expected, and allowed him to see the children. As it were her son Chenguang went with Forrest, while Selene was given a daughter to raise. If only reality worked as perfectly as it did in her dreams. Yue reviled her, Selene believed, thinking that Selene did not love her. And for her part, Selene was not sure if she was or not. She regreted a lot of things about the foal, and Yue's blatant dislike was salt for rubbing into the cut. It was around this time that Selene met Safi. They had a sense of humor that clicked, and affection sprung up instantly- and for Selene, something else sprung up as well. Warmer, and gentler. Selene's relationship with Safi, though it never went beyond friendship, was a healing balm for her. Safi brought Yue and Selene together, and helped Selene realize that it was not just blood ties that made a family. What I am looking for * 'Family' Roleplay * Friends * Romance, if it is in the cards.

Now, Odette is hunting her poo-poo-head of a sister down with a vengeance, and learning about the mortal world on the way.  Basic DetailsName: Tiaret Parents: Valarauco and Zulimar Siblings: Kosomot and Devious Children: none History: Well, her mom got bored one day and left her and Devious to wander alone. Kosomot was already living with Valarauco, so Tiaret decided to join him. Thus began her education. Insanity is a genetic trait that Tiaret does not share with her mother- unless you count her apparently suicidal view that a strong mate who may not be full-blooded kalona can still strengthen the family line. For her it is strength, not blood purity: However, she will not tell her father such, having been raised on his hatred of Others and Halfbreeds as her flesh and blood (rather than bread and butter). She will befriend Others, but has no desire to see her mate and children be slain at the hooves of her father and brother or mother before she herself is slain (probably by her mother) because she dared couple with a Lesser. If she falls in love with a Lesser, she would likely never allow it to bear fruit- the duty to her family runs strong in her, as does her family pride. She will hunt whatever is needed- young, old, weak, strong. The only thing she might not hunt is a foal, and that is due to her mother hunting HER when she was young. She will never forget the feeling of terror. Only extreme hunger would cause her to GENUINELY hunt a child. What I am looking for*Allies/Enemies *"Love" if someone is brave enough to take it on

 Basic Details Name: Arae Parents: Resonance (Echo x Khalon) and Kishi Siblings: Children: None History: He doesn't have any! biggrin Arae is one of the three sons of Resonance and Kishi. His daddy is a playboy, his momma is a princess full of pride. On his mother's side of the family, there is quite the eclectic group of characters. His grandfather is Khalon, a very warlike stallion with an antiquated sense of honor and justice. His grandmother is Echo, an almost fey mare with a quirky sense of humor and a lot of love to give. His mother is Resonance, the eldest child of these two, and daddy's little princess. He has one aunt, Daphne, and three uncles- Dorian, Reflection, and Sigao. He has never met any of the three, but Grandfather has told him about them. On his father's side of the family, he has two sisters- Athena and Ishtar. Their mother is Heaven's Tear. He has never met either of them, but his father promises to take him to meet them and their mother someday. Rumor has it he has nieces and nephews, but he doesn't know for sure.  Basic Details Name: Meriarijim - AKA "Jim" Parents: none Siblings: none Children: none History: He doesn't have any! biggrin "Jim" is the Angeni of Nightmares. He's a chilly guy; not cold, not cruel- but he spent his time in the heavens seeing the things people feared- from pink fluffy bunnies and chasing buffalo in the buff to skinwalkers and drownings. Now he is on the mortal plane, and all he knows are things to fear. And the way to make people fear. What I am looking for * Nothing in particular?

Other SoquiliThe ones I would likely rp: Absinthe : Absinthe is mostly just a flittery sort. She's intelligent...ish... but not much goes through her head except fun and flowers. Not the sort for any serious roleplay. Never will be. Echo : Echo is always a delight. She loves everyone. She is cursed to only be able to speak after someone else, and only using the words they use. She has a small list of words she can use- a very small list- including the names of her children, grandchildren, and mate. Faust : Faust is the adopted child of my Selene and the kalona Calamity. When his "father" turned to preaching his racial superiority, Faust retaliated by trying to live off of meat. He's physically ill, mentally imbalanced, and generally dangerous. Ishtar : Her daddy is a playboy (or was, until Khalon got his hooves into him for impregnating Resonance) and her mother is... slightly off-kilter (AKA insane?). She doesn't take after either side too strongly. She knows the playboy tricks- her dad wanted his daughters prepared for evils like him. It's been a while since she's seen her mother or sister, or father for that matter. She is aware she has brothers, and loves them even though she's never met them. Keiki: He’s scared of women. he knew a mare once, who went all batty for him, and injured his friends because she wanted to keep him to herself. When he got sick, and she thought he was going to die, she killed herself. He got better, found out what a nut she was, and vowed never to let another crazy woman get close. Khalon : Echo's mate. He's a strong warrior with an almost blind hatred of kalona. He is a true knight though, respectful to females of any race. He always remains polite, even when his mate goes off with her mouth. Her laughter is the soothing balm to his scarred heart. Kishi: He used to be a playboy. Until he fell for a princess, and got turned into the husband. Anyone ever hear the phrase "Gunshot Wedding"? Well, that's what happened when Khalon found out he'd got Resonance knocked up. Now he's dealing with life as a married man. Meredith: No plot/rp for her yet. smile Ohanzee : He is shy, and sweet, and madly in love with his darling Hedwig and their three children. Poseidon: No plot/rp yet. He's Thujone's best friend. Scherazade : She's a storyteller at heart; a bard. Not a frontline hero, unless you look at the original 1001 nights she's based off of. biggrin Shahar: Child of a very starry heritage. Grandparents are Selene, Forrest, Virgo, and Andromeda. (Gemini and Yue are her parents). Yue dotes on her, and taught her her own particular brand of sweet salt- she’s a mediocre healer, a mediocre fighter, and a real lover- she’d hug a kalona, if it’d let her. Spade: No rp yet, so.... personality ill-formed. Tehya : She's a "mother" to my entire herd. Smart, funny, and once the best from of the kalona Calamity. She stood up to an angry kalona mare as a foal, and has long-since grew out of that stupidity; though never the desire for the thrill of an adventure that it left her with. Though maybe not the death-defying kind. Thujone: Poseidon't best friend, and Absinthe's son. He's incredibly curious, and a horrible flirt. Just ask Vieno- he can somehow insult every female he tries to compliment. Yue Shuang: Sweet, loving, with a terrible crush on Gemini. She thinks he's a brave thing, and handsome to boot. redface She loves her kids in a way she felt her mom never did.
