Techno watched him and sighed. "I don't think I can inspire anyone to do anything. All my family gets mad at me because of the fact I take apart things and put them back together as something else. I made a TV into a video Ipod! It was so cool!" She smiled happily and leaned against Lyric. "Can you sing?"

"I bet you could." He looked down at her, "Really? That's amazing!" He put his arm around her and nodded, "Sure I can. Do you have a request?" He knew quite a bit of music and could sing almost anything.

Techno thought for a moment, slightly swaying back and forth then she thought of something. "Make Damn Sure by Taking Back Sunday! it was one of those bands Cassie listened to and she had grown to like them. "Or Hands of Blood by Bullet for my Valentine."

"Makedanmsure, is a great choice!" He smiled, started to tap his foot to keep in time and then went right into the song:

Lyric got into the song and really forgot what was around him until he was done. He looked down a Techno and smiled, "So?"

Techno giggled and sang along till the song finished. She knew it by heart and sang whenever Cassie played it. Cassie was always so cool with music, even when she had to curse in most of the music she didn't tell Val. "You're a very good singer!" She said with a bright smile. She never realized how emo the song sounded until she actually paid attention to the lyrics. "Did I tell you my name yet? I'm Techno!" She had a problem with remembering certain things like that.

"You're too shabby yourself." He smiled he liked to sing with others and it was really nice singing with her. "I'm Lyric, sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier." How did he forget doing that? He stuck out his hand for a proper introduction, "It is very nice to meet you."

Techno pressed her hand against his, comparing size of them, forgetting totally that she was supposed to shake it. "Your hands are so big." She smiled and pulled back her hands to look at them. "Maybe mine are just really small....Anyway. It's very nice to meet you Lyric. Your name suits you well."

Lyric chuckled, "Yes, but yours will be bigger in time. Before you know it you will be all grown up." He looked at his hands and hers, they were big, but only compared to hers. "Thanks, I think yours is a perfect fit as well."

"Aww growing up sounds so much fun! You get to drive cars and go out on your own. I got everyone always watching me, it's kinda overwhelming." She lay down next to him and looked up at the sky. "But all day you can lay around and do nothing. But I want to go to the city and to get some of that candy." Her ears perked up and she sat up. "It's on a wooden stick and it has what looks like crystals on the top! They are sugar though and they look sooo good, they come in so many colors! They are only a quarter but I don't have any money and Val never lets me into the candy store. They have chocolate covered apples, peaches, strawberries, and cherries. I have never eaten candy but I guess when I get old enough I can do what I want."

Lyric chuckled as he listened to her go on about candy. He hadn't really thought about being young, he didn't really remember being anything but an adult. "She won't let you have candy? I say that everything is ok in moderation."

Techno got up and started to jump up and down. "I got an idea! I got an idea! I got an idea!" She said then stopped jumping. "Can you take me to the city to get candy? Please! I wont tell Val and and I will pay for the candy I just want to try it. I don't see why she has to be so mean to me." She walked over to Beta and opened his hand, inside was all kinds of coins. She pulled out a quarter in closed his hand, running back over to Lyric with a bright smile on her face.

"Well, as long as I don't get you into trouble." He didn't see how one piece of candy could hurt. "Sure, but you'll have to lead the way. I haven't explored the city mush and don't know where to go." Maybe he'd try a piece of candy as well.

Techno squealed happily and pushed a button on Beta, it reduced him to a small box and she looked at Lyric. "You have never been to the city?! Oh you must go! It's a very big place." She started to walk to the direction toward the city, good thing it wasn't far from where they were.

"Nope, I guess I just haven't made my way there yet." He smiled ans followed her along. "Thanks for taking me." This way they both got something her candy and him a tour of the city.

Techno smiled happily as the view of the city came into her view. "There it is!" She didn't wait for him to see it she just took off toward the direction of the candy store.
