I love foreign languages and I love poetry and I figured, it's about time I brought the two together :3
Now I know there's already a poetry thread but I thought maybe we could post a link to an audio version, maybe of us reading it? Because if you don't understand the phonetics of a language, reading a poem won't mean anything at all, in my opinion.
Good idea? >.< I'm sorry if it's too similar to the other thread we have.
It doesn't necessarily have to be in a language that's foreign to you, I think we could read poems in our native language too if we want :3
Oh, I guess this would suck for people who don't have microphones, or who aren't comfortable recording their voice >.<'
But yes... I think as listening to music is a great way to apprecciate a language, listening to poetry is just the tiniest bit better I think, since the language might be a bit more correct, and easier to listen to ^^'
