Just name one superstition you hear(whether if its eastern or western) is the most STUPID

The stupidest superstiton I have heard if "You step on the crack, you break your mama's back" scream

Another one is that dont say (or put in the number of things) 4 or 9 in Japanese because 4 means death and 9 means suffering...I dont get this one neutral neutral neutral

then again in most asian languages four means death.
In japanese you can just say the different one, there's yon and shi.

That if you bang a silver plate in the middle of a forest in the night, a ghost will come and follow and haunt you forever...
I mean WTF?! Who made this up?! My friend tried to justify her belief in it by saying that her friend tried it and a ghost started following them...
stare I am really not superstitious.

There's a saying that if you cut your nails at night, you will have no friends...
(some said that you will fall sick and stuff like that...but the most common one is no friends)
I think the reason they say this kind of thing is because there's not enough light to cut your nail so you might cause you to cut your fingers or toes instead~LOL
