Trick wandered about the candy shop, stealing bits of chocolates and pocky when no one was looking. She managed to swipe a large oatmeal cookie and sat down to enjoy it. Halfway through it she was swept off the floor. Turning nimbly she saw that it was not her human nore anyone that mattered. She swatted a sharp clawed paw at the foolish person, who immediatly dropped her with a squeal.
Trick swallowed the rest of her stolen treat and sped out the store before they noticed the large ammounts of missing goods. When she was far enough away she slowed down to a trot and began to look for her next target. SHe wished she hadn't finished that cookie so fast, she was bored and needed something to chew on. She suddenly caught a scent on in the air, something spicey. She folloewd it to what looked like a winiko shaped treat. Well, if it smelled good...
Trick opened her mouth wide and took a bite.

Gin had been running for some time. His human warned him to be careful if he went out alone. She tried to convince him to ask one of the other wini's along. Peridot would have loved to go. Or Cetus. But the little one insisted on going out alone. He had to be a man.
And that was a mistake. When he had reached the downtown area of the city, he was bombarded by dogs who weren't intimidated by his demonic presence, but rather enticed by the smell of sweet ginger. Luckily the little demon could climb, and he was a faster runner then the mongrels following him. In exhaustion, he had laid down to nap. This area was filled with more people then animals. The occasional bird, sure, but nothing that bothered him. Until...
Gin let out out a squeal of surprise as something seemed to be biting his leg, and he kicked with all his might. "I'm not a squeak toy you dumb dogs!" he hissed before managing to sit up and see that he had landed a solid kick to another winiko.

"Nyu~" Trick cried as she was struck square in the face. "You coulda just called you know!" She covered her nose, as if that'd help, wriggling it a little to make sure it wouldn't just fall off when she breathed. She glared at the other wini out of the corner of her eye, then suddenly struck him in the belly. She sat on her haunches and looked down on the winiko. A little treat, just like her.
Normally, she'd be furious that someone had struck her, but the situation was one she'd seen again and again herself. It made her laugh out loud, which attracted the attention of passerbys, so she stopped.
"What happened to you?" she asked, throwing caution to the wind. "What's with "dumb dog'?" It wasn't her, she was sure. For the first time in her small life, she actually came down to another's level. She closed one eye in a sort of wink and tilted her head. The gesture she first made at her human, the only reason she was accepted and taken in.

Gin eyed her suspiciously. After the punch to the gut, he wasn't sure he should tell her. Not that it hurt or anything. It really didn't! He kept telling himself that. After all, it was unmanly to be hurt by a girl.
"Got chased by dogs. They keep thinking I'm like food or something. Stupid animals. I don't see why my human likes them at all. Flea ridden mangy..." he grumbled off on a slightly unintelligible mutter. "So why did you bite me?" he demanded. "You of all Wini should know that it's far from awesome to be thought of as food, right, Stripe-y?"

"Well you sittn' there doin' nothin', you do look like food." Trick shot back, crossed. She was about to rap at him for the food comment, but actually took a second to reflect on the question. "Well, realy, it isn't that bad." She took her tail and took a lick to make a point. "Personally, I like being tastey. But my name's not stripey, it's Trick, you know, like treats." She winked at the other winiko as she reached over and swiped a bit of icing off of him. "Mmm, spices. I see why the dogs would like you. Me, they usually take a lick and a beating and never come back." She puffed out her chest proudly. "Ya' just gotta let them know who's boss, not run. Why were you running anyway?"
She could've rambled on, but at that moment she smelled doughnuts. "Boston cream," she said whimsically. Then she saw the man with the food cart had a little companion. It barked happily as it ran between the man's legs. "Pfth," she scoffed.
"Watch this," she told the wini, smiling mischeviously. She dashed over at the dog, snatched its wagging tail and pulled. The dog spun around, attempting to bite the annoying winiko back. Trick punched it in the nose, which resulted in her getting a bit out of her paw. The dog growled at her but got a facefull of cold water. The effect of mint and cold water was brainfreeze, which sent pain up to its head. Trick whipped the little terrier's behind with her tail, sending it yipping loudly into the crowd.
The man was startled out of the nap he'd just sat down to. He saw his pet rushing away and made after it, before it got squashed by someone or mauled by street mutts. Trick wasn't yet finished. She lept up, grabbed the edge of the cart and used her weight to tip it over. She scrambled to put two of every flavor in a bad and ruched into the alleyway behind the ginger treat.
"Haha," Trick sang to no one in particular. She reached into the bag and pulled out a powdered doughnut with filling, not her favorite. She held up the dessert and waved it at the little treat winiko kin.

Gin wanted to swipe at her when she started talking. This girl was annoying, but then she darted off. He watched her as she took on the little dog. That was nothing. One small dog was a piece of cake- but a pack of large dogs was a different story. "I wouldn't have gotten bitten if I were tormenting that thing." Gin muttered. He watched her carefully as she stole her desired goods and ran back. When she waved him over with a doughnut, her reluctantly followed.
"Yeah yeah, small dogs are easy pickings." He eyed the powdered goodness in her hand before swiping and taking a bite. He hoped to get a reaction from her like 'I was going to eat that!' or something. But didn't expect much. He didn't expect much from anyone.
After he swallowed his bite of pastry, he gave her a solid stare. "Gin." he introduced himself.

"Easy pickins?" Trick echoed. "I'd like to see you do it." She poked her head in the bag and searched for her flavor. She found it and grabbed it with her mouth. "You don't want to see me take on a pack." She winked as if she had a secret, which she didn't exactly, just a secret weapon. "Oh, look, you wanna show me what you can do? There he is", she waved at a spot behind Gin. The smallish terrier was back with a bone to pick. Trick grabbed her stuff and scampered up the wall and perched on a windowsill.
This'll be fun, she tought. Terriers were bred to take out smallish things, Gin surely didn't know that, given his cockyness.

Gin frowned as she turned tail. Gin was larger then the dog, and stood at his full height, and took one swipe at the dog's face to knock it down. The dog tumbled with a growl before Gin pounced on it, hissing madly.
The scuffle didn't last more then a minute before the terrier gave a yelp and ran in defeat. Small dogs were no problem for Gin- the ego boost that made him cocky.
He sat back down and began to clean himself. He was a little disheveled, but none worse for wear. "Easy peasy." he said while grooming.

Trick was slightly annoyed that the silly dog had lost its nerve so quickly. She should've set a fresh terrier on him. No matter, there were dogs everywhere.
Trick lept down and landed on Gin. She gave him one big lick that made all the fur on hs back and mane stand up like a crest. She kept licking him the wrong way, adding her own sticky sweetness so that it'd become hard and therefore more difficult to groom. She jumpped off, nipped his nose and ran off. Realizing she forgot her fairly gotten goods, she turned back.

Before he had realized it, Trick was licking him, and then darted off. But he saw her turn around, and then spied the bag of goods. He grinned and grabbed the bag and turned. "You want these?" He smirked, then come get them!" And he was off like a bolt

Trick scampered after the theiving wini with an annoying string of "yips" trailing after her. She managed to catch up without much problem and remained galloping alongside Gin for a while, then made an odd move, pulling foreward and then barreling into him in a ball. "Mine!" she called. She pulled Gin's leg and took a not too hard bite. Then she pushed the doughnuts behind her and made to protect them. "Grrrrr," she readied for a tussle.

Gin was laughing almost too hard when she tackled him. He jumped up and bound at Trick, wrapping his arms around her neck and started chewing her ear. "Mine!" He laughed. "It was your fault for leaving them."

"Mew~" Trick nipped back delightedly. Most didn't take being licked lightly, and they weren't much fun. She chomped on his foreleg, but not before snatching the bag of treats and securing them. She pushed him away after a moment and made to fix her mane. "Prrr, evening." It's true, it'd gotten quite late, her human might be wondering where she was. Though she'd be glad to have her locked out that night. Trick didn't mind much either, the nights have become moderate.

Gin wasn't about to let up. When she sat back to fix herself, he pounced upon her and began to return the favor. Licking her mane and face to make the fur stand up, laughing all the while. And just as fast as he started, he was finished and on the other side of her, between her and the bag of goods, laughing at how rediculus she looked. Though he looked no better with his fur sticking up. They were both a sticky mess, and Gin was just laughing.

Trick tried to fix her mane in vain. "My curls! My perfect curls!" She'd been born with them and they'd always stayed in order, so she didn't really know how to fix the mess she now had. Not that she had anything to be embarrassed for, the two winis lookedno more or less ridiculous than the other. "Gin then," she figured the wini was worth forming a lasting relationship with. "My owner's name is Setsuna, you'll hear it around if you try, can't miss it." Really, the name you'd most likely hear is her own, always getting into trouble. "We live on the outside of town, where there's trees like a forest, except it's actually the back yard. Wanna meet her? It'll be fun, we usually have something nice to eat lying about."
