 Noel strolled through the city of Cassiopeia. It was a nice morning after Christmas. The angelic Chandra was a bit saddened that the festivities were over. She loved the holiday as she was born on the day.

The song played that of one's broken heart. She played in front of a diner in the main city of the island. Letting people put money into her violin case as they pleased. Some stayed to listen to the violinist play. Her dress flowed over the bench she sat on, much too expensive to be one worn by the poor. She did this for the pleasure of those listening.
Zylphia opened her foggy sky blue eyes and stood up at the end of her song, bowing to the few who listened. "Would you like to hear another?" Her voice was as soft as her songs. She waited to hear a voice to tell her yes.

Noel stopped as she heard the playing. She scanned the area to find out where the music was coming from. Soon she saw a few other Chandra standing in front of the diner and a female Chandra with a violin. She walked over and stood there watching and listing until it was over. She put her hands together and clapped.
After waiting to see if anyone else wanted to hear a song, Noel commented herself. "Sure, how about Winter Wonderland. I know it's too late for Christmas songs, but that's more of a winter one."

Zylphia stared at the girl blankly before starting to hum to herself, taking a few practice notes before starting from the beginning. This one one of those songs that was face moving for her sue to the fact they were usually played with more violinist then just one.

Noel listened and smiled. It sounded nice to her. "Can I join you with singing?" She asked. After she asked the angel got out a few things of money and plopped them down in her case. She didn't think it was right asking for a song and not paying to hear it.

Zylphia watched her put the money in the violin case. "Do as you please." She started the song over again and more people crowded around to watch the two. She only had this little gig cause of the fact she didn't like physical work and needed to pay her way in the house, but she truly didn't need the money.

Noel smiled. "Okay, sure!" Noel began to sing along softly. She loved to sing. As they say, "To spread Christmas Cheer, sing loud for all to hear." Plus, singing was fun. She tried not to sing over the wonderful music the other was playing though.

Zylphia started the song over again. She let people gather around and listen to the chandra before her song. She sat back a little, relaxing, just letting people watch. "You are a lovely singer." She said during the song.

Noel smiled. "Oh, thank you very much. I just like Christmas and Christmas songs. I don't know if I can sing anything else." The angel giggled a little to herself. "You are really good." She wanted to make sure she paid this wonder musical a compliment more then just the money.

Zylphia cocked an eye brow and watched the people put money in her violin case then walk away. "You're really into the Christmas thing aren't you?" She didn't make fun of her, just found that Christmas time came once a year and she had to wait about 300 more days till the Christmas season came back again.

"Oh, yes I do love it. I guess it's just apart of me. I think I will keep it's spirit in my heart all year round, you know?" Maybe it was kinda silly, but Noel didn't think so. She liked the idea of giving gifts, including baking, for others all year round. "You know what? I'll be right back." Noel had an idea.
The angel darted off to one of the stores. After a few moments she came back with a new bag. "Here you go. I hope it helps you out." Inside the bag was a pack of sheet music that the girl could use if she did write music or to keep songs she liked as well.

Zylphia smiled as she took the bag and looked inside. Sheets list this were really expensive. Val always warned her about this stuff cause it was around a hundred dollars for five hundred sheets. She even had the pens and ink she could use to write on the paper with. It's been a while since she had written on this stuff or any music for that matter. "You seriously didn't have to." She said softly and looked at her, of course it was hard to tell what she looked at from her powder blue crystal eyes.

"I know, but I wanted to." Noel smiled and shook her head yes to the fairy. She hoped that this meant she liked them. "By the way I'm Noel. It's very nice to meet you." She had then realized she hadn't introduced herself yet.

Zylphia stood up and picked up to ends of her skirt, bowing to her. "I am Zylphia." She said softly and looked around. "What brings you to the city today?"

"I was just doing a bit of shopping. I needed a few things, mostly baking items. I love to bake." She nodded and then looked to her other bags to make sure she hadn't lost them anywhere. "I guess I don't have to ask you. You are giving the gift of wonderful music to all that want to hear, and then if they understand they can donate to hear more." That's how Noel saw it anyway.
