March 13th
Gi, Yu, Jin, Rei, Makoto, Meiyo, Chugi, these are the seven virtues of Bushido.
Equip more of thine men than thyself with a valuable weapon. If killing is the arrangement, kill. If it is to give life, do so.
My elder brothers and I have been proudly educated and practiced in our destiny. Under this discipline, I issued Otou-sama an enthusiastic challenge. The aforementioned are visions of my past.
Though his life had met its end, the challenge set then is alive. I have yet to understand Otou-sama's willful death out of battle. By his own hand, why did he take his own life? "Cast away your attachment to thine own life in battle and you will live," these are among his spoken words in my memory.
These clouds of mystery will dissipate; By then I would have long before reached a mettle beside and beyond him as a breeze and storm, fulfilling my vow.
In this battle between us, I cling not on my life and carry myself confidently. Victory shall be mine.
As I enter my apprenticeship, I keep my knowledge to build and as well, my wisdom is mine for producing and fanning flames. Teachings of my past remain firm and clear in me. My ambition is to stand free, independence absolute. When like water right and wrong are apparent in mine eyes, I will always venture the path of righteousness, never of cowardice. In the future, always my missions' successes I shall be sure precede mine self.Entering Apprenticeship

Name Nakamura no Fujita Date of Birth March 9th Age 19 Height 5'10" Class Warrior Rank Apprentice Personality Fujita's personality is well-mannered, agreeable while predominantly reserved. He is also a perfectionist and tends to be excessively concerned with rules and order. This personality of his also posseses a magnitude that as though binds an explosion of possibilities that is in a state that there does exists likelihood of occurrence of a permeating essence of what is captive due to the captive and binds butting heads endlessly. The captive represents opposites to Fujita's binds (reserved, perfectionist, and orderly nature). And so the essence of the captive means to say that Fujita is capable of disorder and speaking more than he considers necessary but not prone to expressing such in drastic degrees. Likes Nature. Samurai training. Dislikes Defeat. Fears He fears any of his actions violating the Bushido code. Family Fujita's father is deceased, a samurai having taken his own life. He has three siblings. Fujita and his two elder brothers are a year apart in between in age, all three apprentices. His mother tends to his little sister at home. He and his youngest sibling are twelve years apart.

I met Yagi-sensei today for the first day of my apprenticeship training under him here. I had arrived the day before and oriented myself with the area. It convincingly appeared that Yagi-sensei was only briefing me as we made our way to the training grounds. He orally tested me, prompting me to tell him what I knew. It was amidst his resumed speech after this that he executed an attack.
He gave a split-second's pause as notice, evident in the ease of his movements that there are certainly a vast array of more terrifyingly skillful attacks. He had attacked only with the hilt of his sword, however it is assured that had I not managed a partial evasion, I would not have come away with just this bruise but rather a bloody, gaping wound. With that attack I was demonstrated execution of swift and smooth transition at a higher level than before. The event was akin to taking a step up a mountain trail, where dangers and possibilities clearly intensify. This destined trail of samurais is one that grows not lessens in difficulty.
Yagi-sensei's methods of teaching remind me of Otou-sama's, making it apparent to me that they were indeed good friends. He reminded me not to neglect the brush just as Otou-sama had, triggering remembrance with words that nearly matched. Daily commencement times and the reported trend of periods have been set in a manner I am accustomed, but I would rightly be deemed a fool upon looking toward training to be encountered lightly.A Step Up the Trail

Like the mountains' peaks, my goals at times feel far from reach; But the fruit of training is sweet. Drunk with its taste, I dare challenge the winds that touch the clouds.
The gardens here are good for the soul. If one seeks out, they will find the treasures it masks among its soothing beauty, I believe. First, I wish to endeavor to blend with its nature as I tread its soils, that as I cross its grounds my presence is dwindled to nothing in stealth. I wish to do this, in part so as to reach this capacity that I was once shown by Otou-sama, an exemplary example when he stood among tree, blooms, and grass hardly noticed in my youth. It is pleasing to find that such a place is present here. Katsu-chan and Okaa-sama would be amazed at such a garden many times larger than our own. That such nature exists in the vicinity, I don't doubt I shall come often as opportunity allows and surround myself with its mysteries and wonders offered from time to time.
The training grounds vary from the gardens in that it exudes its own sense of glory, of a challenging intimidation to those who wish to further their training. Both places touch upon different, specific beliefs of mine. Training is proceeding accordingly. There are improvements as well as a long path that remains ahead at this point as expected. The days have been usual and continuance of pressing forward is my goal, maintaining and increasing efforts, never of decrease. This path of the samurai, I see myself in no other as my roots and heart in it are strong and steadfast.Training in Spring
