Well, Hello!
I know it's been a while since I've been online.
No net at home, I know, it's a hassle. So I make do by trying the library.
But far be it from me to go off subject!
Now then, There's been sometalk in the past about thinking up cool moves one could do in a fighting game, and then the subject of MUGEN came up.
We all know MUGEN, yes? A computer game where you can put in ANY fighting game character (that's been made by someone out there, of course.)
Well, in my time of abscence, I've been burning the midnight oil, plugging away on MS Paint, in an attempt to make a character of my own!
To think it all started from me loking at spirtesheets of Jump Ultimate Stars, to gettiging into Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, into playing JUS, and starting my drawing.
Now this is the result of my work so far.

A Standing animation. What do you think of the detail?

A walking animation (Finished now).

And how the char looks overall in-game so far. He came out taller then I expected, but I can work with it.
So, whatcha think?
Lastest Update:
I've finished the Crouching animation completely:

I've still got the running to do: Running is done.

And I'm currently working on the jumping. (EDIT: Completed, and improved)
EDIT: And Whaddya know, I have a small vid of a small demonstration of him! blaugh

Video 2 is up!

Now then ladies and gents, it's been a while since I updated anything, but I have been working on the frames for when I get hit by the enemy, ans shown in this gif:
 Note the varying facial expression.
As any person who plays fighting games knows, the standard attacks usually range from low, to medium, to high.
The upper hit means when you get hit around the head, and lower means around the midsection.
And now, a dizzy animation!

Woah, sweet!
I love mugen. The standing animation is great, and the legs look good too.
I want to try out this character, will you tell us in this topic when it's done?
Edit: you said they're taller than you want? I can fix that easily when your done, if you want.

Thanks!
I'm very exited about it all, really. If I REALLY apply myself, think of the possibilities!
I want to get better at it so I can even try making a gif or two of some of you guys.
I saw these animation from another MUGEN char, and I want to do something like it.

Imagine, a cute-looking Kuzo, popping from a book, then he pulls out a gun and fires it off!

That really does look great. One question though, in the standing animation, is the design on the shoe supposed to be bobbing up and down?

Wow! Well done, T. A suggestion, if I may. In the walking animation, when he's bringing the foot closest to us forward again, it seems like it needs one more frame in transition. Do you see what I mean?

Hmm, I see it. It does sort of move from one spot to another slightly.
I'm just glad I was able to get the rest of the leg movements down easy.
BTW, I updated the walking pic so far, where I'm holding the hammer.

I gotta contemplate how to do the free arm. I think four frames of it moving back and forth oughta match up well.
I'm thinking I should draw the arm, then free rotate it in PShop.
But of course anything like that that gets rotated in that will come out blurry.
Thanks to ZKitty's advice on on of my earlier pics, I just gotta draw a proper outline on each rotation!

Hmm, a fighting game?
I think a hammer totting hero would do better in a platformer.
