Green Party, the elususive party that runs for presidentcey.
From the few things I've managed to glean from my economic's teacher's random outburts
1: They're the fastest rising party
2: They aren't rich people compainging and don't owe all the wrong people money (cough bush cough cough)
2: ?????
See? Hard to find anything about them, I think we should gather up some information about them and consider campaigning for them ourselves.
Sounds like a good deal for me so far, they care more about the enviroment then wars which would like, do wonders for our country.
But..anyway, anyoneelse have any info on them?

A lot of people consider them to be extremists, that's about all I know. I need to register to vote soon... actually, I should have registered 8 months ago, but eh, I'm lazy. I've been considering registering either green or independent, mostly because I think that Political parties are stupid. I need to find out more about them first. If I find anything interesting through my research, I'll let you all know.

OMGoshies!!! Finally a topic about the green party!!!! I want them to rise to the top!!!!! I think America should try something new for a change. My parents say this country is going down hill.

Hummusalia OMGoshies!!! Finally a topic about the green party!!!! I want them to rise to the top!!!!! I think America should try something new for a change. My parents say this country is going down hill. Well, our economy is in a rut and still falling, the rest of the world hates us... I wonder where people get the idea that our country is going down hill? [/sarcasm] Honestly, I don't agree at all with the idea of political parties, I think that it ruins the whole concept of our democracy. But if I do register with a party, when I actually get around to registering ( sweatdrop ) then it will be green, because I don't like the other ones. They're more concerned with hating and defeating the opposing party than with what they actually stand for.

People have failed to realize that they are of Nature, and by disrespecting Nature it has come to kick them in the a**. We need to revive the environment and worry less about money and worry more about the entire planet's health as a whole.

well they do care abotut he enviroment, but they seem to only care about the enviroment (and legalizing marijuama i've heard) it's an important issue but there are many other just as important issues.

The environment is probably the only issue all Greens agree on, but pass candidates have also stressed Pro-Choice, and are strong on social values (help the poor, leave the gays alone, don't kill other countries' civilians...you know, that kind of stuff. sweatdrop )
Of course individuals tend to speak for themselves more than the party as a whole.... so I'm not sure how consistent all that is.
In truth, I'm a Democrat, but I really want a STRONG Green Party so the Dems will start listening to their left again. crying The two parties could really help each other (Greens with the setting values.. Dems with their higher profile..).
Probably dreamin'.... but is there anything wrong with this idea? blaugh

I love green party, but they just don't have a chance. I'd rather you vote democrat then waste it and help out overlord cheney sweatdrop . Honestly I do like greenparty the best, i'm just not an optimist.
