I was 6 years old in 1st grade watching my morning cartoons before school. Just watching some Mighty Max...  And all of a sudden this new show came on. T'was Sailor Moon. And I was hooked. Eating my cheerios and jumping up and down singing with the song... "She will never turn her back on a friend!! She is always there to defend!!" Oh yes... It was a great day when I discovered Sailor Moon. smile

I think I was like 6 years old. I was in first grade, and I came home from school, and it was on. I love sailor moon so much, it reminds me of my childhood...I miss it gonk

I started watching Sailor Moon when I was nine years old, on the same TV channel that Otanchin started watching it (after Mighty Max). This was in its first run on American TV in 1995.
I'm... almost 21 now so it's been quite a long time that I've liked this show.

I was about 14 when i first saw Sailor Moon. It was like .... it was a crazy experience one i haven't regretted since.
Though it always haunts me that in some alternate universe that "Saban Moon" crap aired and I saw that and because totally disgusted with Sailor Moon, Never getting involved in Anime, Never learning how to use a computer, program or build a web page. Never learning how to design etc. (Sailor Moon caused me to do alot of things. Such as partake in the web and learn how to use it) xd
Edit: it first aired on June 15th...or June 23rd of 1995. On Fox. Then syndicated (at least in my state) on September 9th 1995. Yes I remember this ONLY because it was the same day school started that year and I was quite upset i'd miss the show.

I think I was in 8th grade when I fist saw Sailor moon. it was on Toonami at like 430 =O
I remember buying the DIC vhs's that were only dubbed...god i hate usagi's english voice "DAAAARRIIIEEEEENNNN"

[blonde ambition] It couldn't have first aired then because I know I was watching it in early 1995. We used to go outside after it was on and play Sailor Moon before school. whee I have to disagree only because I was about 14/15 years old at the time. And the piolet Fredd Ladd Showed at Ani-Magic 2005 showed the year air date release as 1995. It was most definatly 1995. since the candian release was like in august of 95. and they had it a month before we did.
