First of all, I'd like to say that both of these rookie QBs have exceeded my expectations, and are playing great in their first NFL season. It's outstanding that both are leading their teams into the playoffs.
...Although Joe Flacco has been playing really well, Matt Ryan is playing at a higher level and is sure to win this season's Rookie of the Year. He led the Atlanta Falcons, who were one of the lowest teams last season, into the playoffs, and has done it by playing solid football. Also, Ryan doesn't have the Ravens defense that has helped Flacco win games. Both should have great NFL careers.

Congratulations to both they done a great job. But Matt Ryan to turn around that team with the whole Micheal Vick, dog fighting Bobby Patrino leaving the team.
Look at them now they could get the 2nd seed Matt Ryan has done a great job and will win the ROTY and maybe MVP too.

Matt Ryan did great this season, and is the better of the two QBs and should win ROTY, but I don't think he did enough to be the league's MVP. ...And yeah, the deciding factor for me was the turnaround from last season too.

And Matt Ryan will probably go father in the playoffs, because the Falcons one of the top three teams in the NFC.

Observantly, I'd have to say that Matt Ryan is the better rookie QB. No offense to Joe Flacco, I think he brought a lot to the Ravens considering they were lacking a good offense to counteract their tough defense. Still, Atlanta came a long way from their previous seasons and Matt Ryan has a lot to do with it.
I thought Ryan was already name the ROTY, or was that something else? I would love for him to be named the MVP, he was mentioned as a possible candidate, but it seems as if they're leaning towards Peyton Manning. That can change though.

Matty Ice! He gave us hope down here in Atlanta, because I tell you.......there was none. Plus as mentioned before, Flacco had the Ravens' D to help him along. Atlanta has no such thing as defense. For some reason the whole concept seems to be foreign to the Falcons sweatdrop
