Thats it, its over, no one gets to nominate 2.0. I do. I've known Kelly King 2.0 longer than anyone on Gaia ever has...because I knew him before Gaia came out. At first glance Kelly can be an a*****e, but when you look inside that a*****e, you see the shiteating grin that makes us all love him. Seriously though, Kelly King 2.0 is possibly the closest thing you can get to being -the- biggest wrestling fan without losing his entire life to it. Like me he's become a student of the game and actually stepped inside the ring for real to become more involved in it. On the internet, Kelly King 2.0 is without a doubt in my mind the best heel in the business. He knows how to make himself a threat, he knows how to make people hate him, and even more he knows how to make a face look better than he ever did before. We may give him a hard time from time to time, but when the time comes to name the very best that Gaia has to offer, Kelly King 2.0 has to be at the top of the list.

I suppose I should have expected this nomination to come through.
I wonder though...
Am I really deserving of a spot in the Hall of Fame, especially in the first ten? Sure, I've been around a long time and I've had some interesting things happen to me in those times, but lets not forget that I played REAL characters for the better part of my first two years of RPing. And as other characters, I havn't really accomplished too much if you look at my title history, definately not as much as some others. And I am prone to a lapse in my attention span... am I really that valuable to deserve a spot in the Hall of Fame? I wonder...

And I am prone to a lapse in my attention span... am I really that valuable to deserve a spot in the Hall of Fame? I wonder... Well I'm convinced, ******** him. But to play devil's advacit, let's just run down this emo-esque conundrum. Easily deserving of the top ten, and quite frankly it should have gon uncontested, but for the sake of any nay sayers who are quiet, here's why. Protowolf started out running a simple thread in the forums, long before guilds and even then he was respected and looked up to by those who joined in his dream for a funtunal wrestling-related role play. Now I wasn't there, but I've heard from people who were such as Metz and Torrie that King was an adament professional, always keeping his cool under stressful situations. When the guild system finally emerged, he was among the first to get started up. It may have been rocky, but those truely devoted stuck with him and the outcome was one of the most successful and memorable guilds that's still running. True, some people have commented that he takes things too personally, but that's because they don't realize how much of his heart, soul and time went into creating his little empire. There've been times where we thought he was done, given up and thrown in the towel, but he'd always come back, full of fresh ideas and reminding us why we love this world that he helped create. We may not always see eye to eye, but I know I will always respect everything he's done, and I'd like to think he's learned a thing or two from me, like not have your world champion be a "temp" character. We' all remember back at ECW ONS 2006 when the sign "If Cena wins, we riot" was shown, well if King's not in the HoF, we riot. Countless acolades among many guilds and a style that will be remembered years from now, Protowolf has made his mark on the Gaian Wrestling world and should be recognized among the first in our Hall of Fame.

This is in support of my vote I casted earlier.
ProtoWolf 2.0... Some people call him a legend, other an Icon. I'd like to one up everyone and be the first to call him The Godfather of GAIA's wrestling community. Try and prove me wrong. As Kronik had stated in his previous post, Proto has been around the wrestling community far before the guilds system was instated. From opening and operating his own forum, to building an wrestling empire of awesomeness Proto was even apart of the original Barton Town Wrestling. But once that crashed Proto opened the Wrestling community to a more RP Friendly Format. Thus opening the door for a new league of Wrestling RPers.
So Proto you wanna say your truly not deserving... Not if I have anything to say about that. Despite the fact that you played Real Characters for the starting part of your Roleplaying career, you played those characters down to the T. I mean your take on Edge... Bar far the best Edge I've seen. I mean look at the kind of Legend you've managed to make him into in the Twisted Flow. So besides the fact that you have played real characters doesn't mean you aren't a great RolePlayer.
So anyways onto HIS Characters... Seita Gray, and Kelly King 2.0. Probably two of his most prolific characters. I won't even get into the legion of GWF Wrestlers that Proto has created. Anyways even through Seita Gray's accomplishments are minimal his persona was awesome, I loved the character. But his baby, Kelly King 2.0 is by far my favorite character that is not mine. Proto has been able to take everyone on one hell of a ride with The One True King. I mean from the Twisted Flow to the Unlimited and beyond. King has had a huge impact in whatever guild he graces. The sheer awesomeness that Kelly King 2.0 radiates is freaking amazing. With list of titles, and accomplishments that make even the most seasoned veteran jealous (i.e. me).
So onto other things, 2.0. On top of his amazing characters and RP skills Proto has also been the owner/promoter of one of the most dominate Wrestling Guilds ever, WWE/FFA:TF. Even with the Flow opened Proto found time to bring in the GWF, to feud with the Flow. One of my favorite storylines. Well thats I can think of right now, I might edit this later and add some more of Proto Awesomeness.
I still think he should of won BITB Awards.

Ofcourse you deserve it 2.0! I must still be relatively new to this compared to others as I've only ever known you as 2.0, never knew you played reals at all!
I may not have been around long enough to see BTW but I have seen 2.0 in many other guilds over time. He's easy to work with and I can't think of anyone better suited to taking out the GMs in EEW!
Let's hope you stick around for a long time to come! biggrin
