 Kayla nodded. "Great idea. I'm sure Lecia has no hard feelings for ya. Mind, I should get her that honey I promised her." Smiling fondly. The two went to the Pokemon Center.
It didn't take time to get there, being that it was right next to it for the trainer's convenience. The Nurse Joy welcomed them both to the pokemon center and was happy to treat their pokemon for them. "If you would hand me their pokeballs to me, and I will get on it straight away!" Nurse Joy smiled as she placed a tray for pokeballs for treatment. Kayla smiled at the nurse before handing her Lecia's pokeball. (Kayla had called Lecia back into it once they started heading off to the center)
Turning back to Choppi, Kayla replied to her comment about Hannah. "So Hannah is your only pokemon?" Curious, Kayla asked. "What profession are you?"

Choppi smiled as she fiddled with her ponytails, taking them down and putting them into pigtails. "I'm a watcher. When I was younger, I used to play with pokemon, and I loved it. That was in the Kanto Then my parents shipped me off to private school, because they hated pokemon." Finished playing with her hair, she motioned for Kayla to follow her to the pokemon storage box computer.
"School never really was for me. So I left and moved here!" She began typing into the keyboard, accessing her datebase of pokemon. Only one was in the box, that of which she selected for retrevial.
"I'm not used to all the new pokemon yet, so I decided to travel and observe them all." The ball appeared and she grasped it in her hands. Gazing at it with a deeply content smiled, she patted it and then attached it to her opposing ponytail.
"I have two pokemon now. Just saved a Stantler the other day back in the mountains on a sketching trip." Another smile. "So I have Hannah, and now Picasso. Although, I call her Cassie."
Standing up she ajusted her lightweight jacket a bit. "So what about you? What's your story?"

Kayla pondered for a bit on what to tell Choppi. "Well...I was totally different from you when I was younger. I didn't have any attactments to pokemon nor did I want to. We only had a Mightyena to protect the family but other than that, I was happy without them. Until I met my Adira."
Kayla smiled fondly at the memory before looking at Choppi. "You see, Adira is my shiny Rampardos but I met her as a cranidos. She was injured and I saved her life. She changed my views about pokemon and ever since then, I couldn't get enough." Shrugging. "Now here I am, a pokemon trainer, traveling to befriend as many as I can."

Choppi grinned at Kayla with a glittering happiness in her eyes. These kinds of stories made her really happy that she traveled so far to hear them. Reaching out she grabbed the girls wrist and waggled it back and forth a bit in a reassuring manner. "That's fantastic." A small giggle passed her lips.
"When I was little all I had was the simulation game for kids. You know, before you were old enough to leave on that quest." She titled her head a bit, sorrow entering the edges of her eyes. "I never had that, but I'm more than happy with the had I've been delt now."
Thinking deeply, she tapped her index finger against the side of her cheek. "While I'm a little behind on all the information about pokemon, I'd like to think that my devotion to them more than makes up for it." A small nod as if that's what she decided to say in the end, after she'd thought it all over.

Kayla smiled warmly. "Yeah, I am still learning about the pokemon I meet and capture. Mind you there's soo much information that is still undiscovered that we will never fully understand about them."
It was in that moment, the intercom from the PokeCenter came on and Nurse Joy's voice could be heard clearly. "Attention. Kayla and Choppi. Please come to the front desk of the center. Your pokemon are healed and ready to be picked up." There was a slight pause. "Kayla and Choppi, your pokemon are ready to be picked up. Thanks." The intercom went out.
Kayla looked towards the direction of the Pokemon Center and smiled with relief. "Sounds like it's time to head back." Looking at Choppi, Kayla's smiled formed into a grin. "Come on. I bet our pokemon are excited to be back with us."

Choppi smiled and nodded at her friend, her blue pigtails bouncing. Both pacing over to the counter, Choppi stepped forwards to get the attention of the nurse behind the counter. "Hi, we're here to pick up our pokemon!"
One woman in a long line of identical sisters and cousins, Nurse Joy turned to face them. "Oh hello! You must be Kayla and Choppi then!" Reaching under the counter into the specially shaped pokeball shelves, she gathered up two of the orbs, and set them on the counter. "Your Teddiursa and Cubone are all better now. Chancey saw to that. Thanks for coming, and I hope everything goes well for you in the future! Bye now!"
Reached out, Choppi scooped up her little Hannah's pokeball and gave it a little kiss on the top. Hannah always worked so hard to fight for her, so she was glad that she was okay. "Yay Hannah. I'm glad you're back!"

Kayla plucked Lecia out from the socket where laid her pokeball. Smiling at the ball for a moment before placing it back where it belonged. There was really no words that needed to be said to Lecia. She knew that Kayla cared for her just as much as Lecia cared for her trainer. They only been together for a short time but it felt like their history went back much further.
Returning her attention back at Choppi, Kayla's smile was redirected to her. "Well, now that they are back, safe and sound, what would you like to do?"
In that moment, Kayla's stomach grumbled painfully loud, which caused her to cringe and blush. "Haha. How about we get something to eat? Battles always get me hungry afterwards and I bet our pokemon are hungry too."
