Description: Much shorter than Neil, but is very good friends with him. Is Neil's next door neighbor.

Description: Is incredible at saxophone, but that's because he's been playing for 40 years. Is a pianist as well and sometimes goes on tour with Linkin Park and Good Charlotte to play piano with them.

Description: Disliked but lots of people but only because he plays favorites. Neil is one of his favorites because he plays trombone amazingly. Rebel is one of his favorites because he got snare his freshman year. Hannah is one of his favorites because she was a drum major in middle school.

Description: Is now a police officer, served in Iraq and was band captain for two years in high school.

Description: freshman in college, but takes Friday and Saturday off classes to help move pit equipment. When the timpani player is sick, Lawrence gets to play timpani in the show.

Neil got off the bus after their last competition of the year.
He was sad that marching season was over but happy that jazz band would start soon.
"Night, Neil!" Hannah yelled as she got into her parents' car.
Hannah and Neil had been friends for a while but people had been thinking there was a little bit more lately (specifically Matt and Brett. Matt is agressive about his teasing, but Brett was just saying they were cute together).
