Light Elder Female Concept Contest

This is the Light Elder Female, who rules alongside her counterpart, the Light Elder Male. The interaction between the two – whether friendship, romance, or a simple sharing of the power – will be discussed between the respective owners.
To obtain this lovely girl, you must present me with how YOU perceive her. By that, I mean the following – where did she come from? What is she like? Is she nice, cruel, calm or high strung? Was her life a hard one, or easy? I want you to create a persona for her, a history and a personality and…whatever else you think may be important. The person with what we feel is the best persona for her will be the person who gets to go home with her (so to speak =P). Be creative, be descriptive, and don’t skimp on anything! It may be the difference between winning and losing!
Please be prepared to write your descriptions in paragraph format, the same as you would use in a literate roleplay. No one wants to read 500 one-liners! XD Also, please make sure that your stories are in line with the few Taranis facts that exist. They can be found in the main thread. If you have any questions, feel free to ask <3
If you win, please be prepared to pay a small 10k fee for her. <3 This is to help ensure that only people serious about winning her enter.
~~~~
Start Date: Now, 12/15 @ 9 PM EST End Date: 12/22 @ 9 PM EST Entries: Username | Page~~~~ Please use this code for entering: I’ll give it a go! Her Name: Her Personality: Her History: Anything else?: Good luck!
~~~~
**Note: The personality/history you create here does NOT have to be the personality/history she carries in the Pack – we prefer that you keep what you create here, but you do not have to. Also, in order for any historical interaction she has with the male Elder that you create for her to carry over, you’ll have to discuss that with the owner of the other Elder.

I’ll give it a go! Her Name: Prisme (pronounced Pris-May) Her Personality: Prisme is a very quaint and sedate female, always seeming to be calm and composed wherever she may be. Prisme tends to think out her actions quickly and carefully, doing anything to stop or save a fight. She would rather settle things then fight it out with tooth and claw. She is also calm and resorceful, and is often looked upon for her advise and wisdom, as most leaders are. She isn't annoyed easy, and its very hard to force her into a mean attitude. Prisme is also very affectionate, and has a strong love for kits and adolescents. Lastly, although her calm nature, she isn't afraid to fight if theres nothing else she can do, and is actually a very experienced fighter. Her History: Prisme has a very... Shrouded past. She was born into a family of three, an average, everyday Tarani family, although they were nomadic, so to speak. They belonged to no Pack, and simply wandered. Her siblings loved this way of life, but Prisme, as a kit, wanted to be with a larger group. Her mother had told her stories about the different clans, and how she had been a part of Light Pack. Prisme, hearing these stories, only made her hunger more for the life the clans could provide, and when she came of age, she left her family. At the time she left though, she was a mere adolescent, whom could barely fend for herself, let alone go on a huge journey to find her mothers old pack. Yet somehow, she survived the journey, and like the light at the end of the tunnel, she found the pack. Though she didn't realize she had found Light pack, she indeed had on her own, almost like it was on accident. And in a sense, it was more as if they had found her. She was still no more then a adolescent, somehow having to survive on her own through the harsh times. She was shivering and cold, her shiny patterns that had given her the name Prisme were now dull with grime and dirt, perhaps even a small trace of mud or dust. The pack viewed her as a lost kit, and took her in from apathy. Since that day she became stronger and more renown. She grew to be a beautiful female adult, finally having outgrown her adolescence and growing out to her fully proportional body. Sleek and bright, she was truly beautiful and alluring. At the time though, a different leader and his mate watched over the pack, and she tried her best to prove herself, and she did countless times. Before long she aged to a new role, that of a elder. Wise and often seeked for advise, she lived up to her life, and to her role. And when the new light leader assumed a role, she assumed a position aside him, as a leader of the Light Pack. Anything else?: I wouldn't mind her being a mate with Nuntis, but that's for him to decide <3

I’ll give it a go! Her Name: Laota Her Personality: She is used to getting her own way and doesn't appreciate being doubted, but when she isn't in "leader mode" or remembering what could have been she is actually capable of being quite kind-hearted and sweet. Her History: Laota is one of the Elders of the Light Pack. But things didn't always used to be this way. Once upon a time Laota ruled her own pack, the Prism Pack. As the sole ruler of the Prism Pack, her every word was law, her every whim obeyed. She had been a good ruler, and although her pack was small, they thrived with her good judgement. Her land was bountyfull and full of plenty even when others faced hard times. This was proven one unfortunate year when a drought swept the entire island.
Other packs were wiped out from the drought, water was scarce and food scarcer. The Prism Pack's downfall, however, was its plenty. A dread Pack came from the north, raiders desperate for survival. They quickly spotted Laota's lands. Closing in in the dead of night, they stole everything they could carry and burned the rest, not wanting pursuit. In the morning the situation was bleak, many had died in the fire, and it was evident not even one scrawny pup could survive on what was left of the scorched earth, let alone an entire pack.
They scattered to the wind, to the fire, and even to the earth packs, seeking friends and family. Laota, disheartened by her failure, wandered off on her own. Soon after, the drought ended and plenty returned to all the land, except for the path the fire had taken through that one fair valley. Laota vowed to never return untill what had been destroyed was healed, untill she could rule her pack on her land once more.
She joined with the Light Pack to bide her time. Not interested in Nuntis, she nevertheless could not resist his offer of duel leadership; she needed a place to stay. Although yearning for her future chance, she is a wise ruler over her current pack, and although fierce, she is also kind and much loved by her packmates. Anything else?: I like cake? o:

I’ll give it a go! Her Name: Purizuma [[Puri]] Her Personality: Puri had always had the easy life, so she had been used to having things her way. She can be a bit stubborn, but she's really a good leader. She'll never let someone take advantage of her, as she's pretty intelligent. She likes being in charge, and being independentm for the most part. Her History: Being born with such radiant colors, everyone always knew Puri would be special. As a child, if she asked politely enough, she could get whatever she wanted, and being spoiled, it made her used to having her way and made her stubborn. As a teen, she became a bit more aware of her surroundings, and more so, the one who would become her partner, Nuntis. She began to fall in love with him, and Puri always tried to talk to him, but she was always a tad shy around him. When she was an adult, her brilliant colors glowing, she was asked by many to be their mate, yet she turned them all down. She had eyes only for him. Many hearts were broken, but she remained her composure to keep herself open for the day she finally worked up the courage to ask Nuntis... Then one day she was named to be the head female elder, and Nuntis was head male elder. Puri couldnt be happier. She confided to him that she loved him at last... [I dunno, its up to Kila where this would go now.] Anything else?: Heheh

I’ll give it a go! Her Name: Light Her Personality:Most would describe her as someone would describe light itself. Silent, warm, maybe even beautiful. Light is protection from the darkness. Although light can flicker or even fade, and therefore so can she. Light tends to be a little moody on rainy or cloudy days and procrastinates until she can see the sun again. Just to add another fault into the mix, she's absolutely clumsy, as the light trips over everything. Her History: As a kit she was blind and her fur was pure white.~
She couldn't see a single thing for her family lived in a cave. They were sort of runaways, because her father had been stealing from the Darkness Pack his whole life, only too be found out by Light's mother. Instead of turning him in she let him go. Was it because she loved him, or simply did not want him to die, it's not clear.
Either way, Light did not even see the light until she was an adult. That was the time when she ran away from her father but took one of her little siblings with her and ran away to join the Light Pack. She was simply planing to lie low, but that was nearly impossible when her sight returned and her pelt shined as brightly as the sunlight through the trees. She still went to the Light Pack, for she and her sibling had no where else to go. Anything else?: 83 Umm well that's as much as I'll give for her history because she really doesn't like to talk about it. As for the relationship with her and Nuntis... he could possibly be her sibling, but I wouldn't go for a relationship between them. And yes she never had a name until she joined the Light pack in which case they basically named her~ Okay that's it. ;3

I’ll give it a go! Her Name: Zurine Her Personality: Zurine is quite possibly the most cantankerous creature to ever grace the face of the earth. If given a cookie, she would probably complain about the lack of chocolate chips, just to give you a crazy example. Her stubbornness is something you could wrap steel around. This isn’t to say that she’s a bad individual, however. She is, in fact, quite good. Or she tries to be, partly because she knows of her own darker side. Everyone has hidden depths, right? Zurine knows this and there’s nothing in there that she wants to let out.
The point is, being good doesn’t mean she has to be nice about it. Rational, she leads her pack carefully, always making a clean division between what the pack ‘wants’ and what it actually ‘needs’. She will do what she has to in order to ensure the future of the pack, even if it comes to some very unpleasant decisions. While others may sit there and let silly emotions get in the way, she simply does what is needed.
She has a tendency to act as if disobeying her or thinking differently than her is not only impossible, but is utterly unthinkable. She probably doesn’t mean to… but, it’s there anyway. Romance, as far as she’s concerned, is a silly fluffy thing that happens to others.
Her History: She came from a very large family. No, really. Her parents bred like bunnies. Zurine was one of the middle pups and, as such, she quickly learned to look after herself. Shortly after she figured out how to look after herself, she became a caretaker for her younger siblings. This contributed significantly to her no-nonsense attitude as well as her firm ideas about ‘needs’ versus ‘wants’. She decided to leave her family because she did not want to be a baby-sitter for the rest of her life.
Eventually, she came across the Light pack. At first, she intended to stay only for a little while. Just a quick rest, that’s all. But, soon enough, she found herself playing baby-sitter again, only this time to adults instead of pups. This did not improve her mood at all. What did improve her mood, however, was smacking others over the head until they listened to her. At least verbally, anyway. Through sheer force of will, she worked her way to the top, simply because she felt she was the only one qualified to do anything.
One could argue that she’s still a baby-sitter. It’s certainly how she treats others.
The only individual who is spared from her vitriolic nature is Nuntis himself, who has earned some grudging respect.
Anything else?: I do not plan for her to be Nuntis’s mate.

I’ll give it a go! Her Name: Eve Her Personality: Eve is a caring female expecially when it comes to those who are close to her, like her family and pack. She usually is calm and rather collected. Most of the time Eve won't make her pack do anything they don't want to do unless it's absolutely neccessary. Although it might not look like it, but she'll fight to the death for her pack if she must.
When Eve is with someone she shares a close bond with, not just like her pack members, she'll be more open around them. When she's with her pack she keeps her calm face on, because she knows that's what they need in a leader.
Althout Eve and Nuntis aren't mates or anything like that Eve still cares for his well being like she would for anyone else in the pack.
Despite all this, Eve still has a fun side. That's a side she doesn't show to many. Most likely just her true love and someone really close to her like that. Leading the pack can be hard work, so she'd rather keep that side of her hidden. Her History: Eve's past was a pretty tragic one. At first she had lived happily with her mother, father, and younger brother. That was the way it had remained for a long time until her mother died. When she died, part of her father died too. He had been so kind to his children, but when his mate died he'd gone partially insane, until one day he killed himself.
Eve and her brother were alone in the world then, and Eve vowed that she would take care of him to her last breath. So together they lived for a while. Then disaster struck again. One day Eve was out hunting for them when a huge tornado struck. She'd taken shelter among the roots of an old tree and luckily for her the tree stayed sturdy during the whole ordeal. As soon as the tornado passed she raced back to her home.
To her dismay it was destroyed everything, including her brother was gone. Eve started searching for him then, not sure if he was even alive. Day and night she searched with no trace of him. Dismayed she wandered off somewhere and somehow ended up in the Light Pack. They welcomed her into the pack when she first found them, and she had no reason to decline.
Eve had never intended to stay long. She was planning on staying for a few weeks then resuming her search, but then one of the leaders of the pack died. Everyone including Eve was devastated by this. Loral was loved by everyone of the pack.
They had to get a new leader, that was apparent. So when everyone got together they picked none other than Eve. She'd wanted to decline, but deep down inside she knew her brother would've wanted her to do this. For him. So she accepted the honor and became leader. Anything else?: She's really pretty. :3 Also, I don't plan on having her become Nuntis's mate. They can simply be acomplices or something of the sort.

I’ll give it a go!Her NameNevaehHer PersonalityOn first impression, Nevaeh appears to be the epitome of a Pack Leader. Elegant and poised, she walks with the quiet but graceful confidence that demonstrates her Elderly charm, and demands respect in a way that only a Leader could. When she speaks, her voice is but a soft whisper, yet so powerful that all would stop and listen to her wise words. Her intelligence is matched only by her fellow Elders, for she is perceptive to all that occurs in her pack and understanding when it comes to her pack members. Then there are times when even one as aged as Nevaeh needs a reprise, more than pleased to join in a hunt and often romping with the young ones in their games. But when duty calls, she easily slips back into her calm but commanding composure.
Of course, nobody’s really that perfect, and Nevaeh is no exception to the rule. Like everyone else, she has a fetish. Despite her natural element and leadership position within the Ordered, she loves conflict. Growing up around disorderliness, she came to love the adrenaline that rushed through her veins when she found herself in a heated debate. But as the Pack Leader, she refrains from engaging in arguments to set a good example for the young ones. Nevertheless, when she’s only with closely trusted friends, Nevaeh often falls back into her less than graceful behavior and always has a sharp retort ready on the tip of her tongue. Otherwise, she wisely restrains her sarcastic wit within the walls of her mind to keep up the dignified façade.
For the most part, Nevaeh acts as one would expect of a Leader, but there are times when she acts like a complete lunatic and you could definitely call her possessed. Because she has an unhealthy obsession for wings, for she firmly believes that they are temporary and therefore detachable appendages. When this female has nothing better to do, you can probably find her chasing after Norehka – or another winged Taranis – with claws and fangs ready to detach their wings (which always end in failure since they simply fly away from the crazed Elder). Nevaeh has been told many times that wings cannot be removed unless by physical amputation, but she thinks this is all just a conspiracy to prevent her from flying.
Unfortunately, the insanity doesn’t end there, because Nevaeh is as far from perfect as you would hope. She has a very open fascination for fluff, and not just the normal standards of fluffy. No, she needs something much more regal and cuddly – like a cloud. In fact, the mention of clouds usually sets her into one of her wing-hunting moods, so most flying Taranis are smart enough not to mention the sky in front of her. If you hear Nevaeh start muttering nonsense to herself, she’s probably calculating her next clever trapping of a winged Taranis and the best course of action is to leave quickly before she drags you into her devious plans. But we firmly believe that the cloud obsession will only last until she discovers cotton candy (for now, she satisfies her sweet tooth with white chocolate – but that’s another story).
And while the general public thinks (with great relief) that it ends there, there’s one little quirk most don’t know about Nevaeh – her fear of the dark. But as a Leader, she always quells the panic that rises when she’s in a dark place and acts as normal as she can be, since it definitely wouldn’t look good for her reputation if she wet herself just because the light went out. And so far, she has done incredibly well in resisting the urge to run away every time someone suggests a path that leads through the darkened woods, but that doesn’t stop her heart from beating like a hummingbird’s or walking a little faster than usual. In fact, Nevaeh would probably appreciate a bright fire on a dark night – that is, if she didn’t jump in fright every time she saw her own shadow.Her History Not many know about this Elder’s past as she carefully keeps such details locked in the deepest corners of her mind, memories that even she herself would rather forget. All anyone knows is that Nevaeh was born to a rogue pair that lived on the outskirts of pack territories, and she somehow found her way into the Light Pack as a teen. And when asked about her early childhood, an uncharacteristically cold look quickly quells any further questions.
However, Nevaeh keeps her childhood a secret for good reason. A few months after her birth, a severe storm separated her from her parents and she found herself wandering the lands of the Dark Pack. The ones who found her took pity on the young kit and their Elders allowed her into the Pack, so she grew up thinking that she was another child of the Dark and adapting to their wild ways. Until her teens when she discovered a few adults assaulting a young Taranis of the Light Pack that had inadvertently trespassed onto their territory – Nevaeh’s intervention (though too late to save the victim) caused her to reveal her true element, and even she was surprised to discover that she was of the Light. But then they turned their attacks onto her.
Nevaeh managed to escape in the end, but the image of the bloody and broken young Taranis would forever be burned into her mind, the proof of how far some would go for their elemental pride. It was then that she knew that she could only ever survive as part of the Light Pack, and that’s where she went. They took her in without question for she was one of them, but she would never forget how she got there. Even today she looks upon the Dark Pack with conflict, grateful that they had saved her as a kit but always recalling the cruelty of those that had chased her out. Yet the hatred and vengeance that plagued her as a young adult faded with time, as she slowly realized that all Packs had their tyrants and she shouldn’t loathe an entire pack because of a few individuals. But the fear Nevaeh experienced that day would never fade.
Likewise, the chaos and conflict she lived in with the Dark Pack would be instilled within her forever. As a child, Nevaeh witnessed the friendly debates and duels that occurred all the time, quickly learning to develop a witty tongue in her own defense. But once she began living with the Light Pack, she found that they frowned upon unruly behavior and preferred control. Her sharp retorts and stubborn defiance were not appreciated and often landed her in trouble, so she slowly learned to suppress her conditioned responses. In time, Nevaeh became a master at holding herself with the graceful poise expected of a Light Pack member, having had to work harder than the others to act like she belonged.
But for the most part, her time in the Light Pack passed far more uneventfully than when she was with the Dark ones. In the Light, Nevaeh learned to appreciate the world around her and she soon grew an obsession for clouds, admiring their soft and carefree movement in the vast open skies. And of course, she loved how fluffy and cuddly they looked. This was also around the time she met her best friend, Norehka, and also when she developed the desire to obtain wings. After all, to reach the clouds, Nevaeh would need a pair of wings and the only way to acquire said appendages would be to borrow them from Norehka. But even now Nevaeh can’t understand why her friend (or any other winged Taranis, for that matter) refused to let her use their wings – how hard could it be to unattach the extra appendages? Not like she wanted them to cut off their leg…
Aside from her moments of insanity, Nevaeh was considered a matron to the Pack because of her wise and understanding attitude. But the time to prove her abilities as a leader came when the Storm hit and devastated their lands. Keeping her head high with hope, she managed to support the Pack members and help the male Elder lead them through the difficult time. Then the appearance of humans threatened her influence, for she was one of the few that accepted them – but only because they bribed her with white chocolate. Now addicted to the sweets, Nevaeh has been supportive of humans ever since, slowly trying to turn the other Taranis around to the idea. And with the Head Elders’ encouragements for the change, Nevaeh’s authority and new leadership position was ensured.Anything else?The following are some snippets from her past...And the Insanity Begins... Nevaeh sighed as she glanced down at the pack from her vigil on the cliff. She hadn’t been with them very long, but she was already starting to like it here. Growing up with the Dark ones, she’d always heard strange stories of how the Light were overly cheerful and chirpy Taranis that wanted to befriend every living creature… and also how they loved talking to trees. But after living here for a few months, she could definitely see why – the trees were really good listeners.
Living with the Light Pack, Nevaeh also found that she had more time to think. In the Dark, she was always on guard against a surprise attack, since they seemed to love to start brawls all the time (though she had to admit, she kind of missed the verbal spars). But now she was beginning to enjoy the beauty of nature, especially the deep blue skies. Glancing up, she smiled lightly as she watched a pair of winged Taranis frolick through the clouds as if they hadn’t a care in the world. What was it like up so high in the sky? The clouds looked so comfortable, so light and soft… so fluffy.
Now Nevaeh wasn’t one to be jealous, but she was beginning to see the advantages of having wings. Why, she’d be able to fly up there and lie in the clouds!
…and speak of the Chaos, here comes a winged Taranis who was talking to the flowers – a kindred spirit, perfect. Nevaeh straightened as she prepared to make a friend, wondering if the other femme would be kind enough to let her borrow those wings. And if not, well, she’d simply have to resort to physical measures. A Normal Day in a Crazy Life... Nevaeh carefully navigated over the thick branch, brushing through the leaves of the old oak tree as she glanced down every so often. Finding a comfortable (and light-filled) spot, she sat down quietly in wait for her prey. Any other hunter would use the shadows of the leaves to hide, but with fur as bright as hers, blending into the light would be much easier – plus she was kind of afraid of the dark.
A familiar voice not too far from her hiding spot caught her attention. Nevaeh turned her head towards the Elder who currently led the Light Pack – Nuntis. She usually tried to steer clear of his path since she doubt her antics would be to his approval, but she knew enough to know that he was what kept this Pack alive, though he seemed like he could use a partner. Growing up in a matriarchal society, Nevaeh felt that Nuntis could benefit from having a female by his side to keep a more feministic view to things. Too much testosterone was never good for a Pack – that’s how wars were started.
The wind whispered through the leaves, and Nevaeh frowned as she tilted her head towards the tree trunk. “I could certainly do a better job than him as a leader. My magic is quite strong, and ever growing closer his level,” she commented somewhat smugly to the old oak. The tree stayed silent and still, but she hadn’t expected an answer anyhow.
A rustle below took her attention off the male Elder. Nevaeh smirked as she saw her prey coming into range. This time, she would definitely get those wings from Norehka.
