Gameplay footage has been revealed of Bioware and Lucas Arts upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic on their website. Official SiteI might need a new PC just to play this game.

PC only. It's an MMO. Just like WoW, except wayyyy better, and with a storyline. It's still in production stages, so that explains the simpleness of it.

Wont release until 2010, so its still far too early to judge. However, they'll probably have some sort of beta out next year.

Definitely PC only.
But yeah looks exciting, I heard there going to make the Jedi more easier to become.

I was watching E3 '09 Live on G4 yesterday, and they showed many previews and trailers of games that won't be coming out 'till this winter or later. Star Wars: The Old Republic was one trailer I remembered seeing. It looks as good as wondering how things were like before the first movie. EXCITING! xd

I wonder if gameplay will be nearly as cinematic as this video, combat is supposed to be like the Kotor engine's system, but updated. So it's a possible.

I am DEFINITELY looking forward to this game! I half expect MMOs these days to play just like WoW, but this game is different. There's actually an end to this game where you can start over again by copying your DNA to start over with special bonuses. Definite replay value! I loved Star Wars Galaxies when it came out, but quit once I found out it commited suicide. I was very excited to know that a few of the originals that worked on Galaxies are also working on this.
What faction do you guys plan on playing?

I mostly either want to play as the Bounty Hunter class or the republic soldier one.
maybe Jedi or Sith, but i think they may be a bit overplayed
