We all hate alot of the thigns that happened with the 4kids dub; but what I want to knw is their one little thign you liked about their version?
For me it was Mihawk's voice. I kinda imagined him to talk in a european accent of some type but I did like his voice.

KingJack! I liked how it introduced me to One Piece. That's mainly what it was for me but I also liked Mihawks voice. I thought it was pretty cool sounding.

Queen-of-the-Rogue KingJack! I liked how it introduced me to One Piece. That's mainly what it was for me but I also liked Mihawks voice. I thought it was pretty cool sounding. I liked everybodys voice just cause i could do all there voices and i remember most ppl from there show by there dub voices

I liked how Choppers human form ahd a deep manly voice sorta; corse theirs nto really any manly voiced in the 4kids dub. It feels like the big man form deserves a semi-deep voice

Queen-of-the-Rogue KingJack! I liked how it introduced me to One Piece. That's mainly what it was for me but I also liked Mihawks voice. I thought it was pretty cool sounding. at least someone agrees with me on that. It kinda fits since he looks like he's european; possibly a bit of spain in him.

I can't say that I liked very much about the 4Kids dub. One Piece is an anime for teens, because it's full of complicated and emotional scenes, alcohol and innuendo references and people punching/kicking/slicing the hell out of each other. Dubbing something like that '4Kids' (OK, that was terrible...sorry...) when it's not made for kids was a bad idea. They tore out many scenes and cut over 60 episodes because they 'felt they were not needed'. EVERYTHING is needed in One Piece, because they make a future reference to it as well. And to make up for lost speech, they put in AWFUL puns and jokes that have no relevance to the story at all. And they base some of the character's voices on what they wear (Cabaji is given a Romanian accent because of his scarf, Robin is a given a cowgirl accent because of her hat etc.). I KIND OF liked Crocodile's voice, but that was about it. And how they cut out a lot of Japanese cultural items was just stupid. They made 'rice balls' into 'cookies'. This is because 'a Western audience may not understand'. Are you trying to dumb down kids of today? Give them some cultural variety, and perhaps cultural acceptance will go up once they realise that there are other cultures out there BESIDES their own! And the One Piece rap?

I absolutely detested them changing Zoro's name to 'Zolo'. Lots of One Piece fanart and fanfics that are reasonably good are littered with the dreadful 'L', therefore dumbing it down. It's an 'R'. Say it with me. R.
What do I like about the 4Kids dub? Crocodile's voice. That's it.

Maizuiko I can't say that I liked very much about the 4Kids dub. Actually, it's a manga/anime for kids. Yes, a lot of Japanese teens probably read it, but there are different standards in Japan for what is appropriate for children, so really it's geared toward kids. And the Zoro/Zolo thing, yeah, it's annoying, but not the biggest deal. Speaking of that, it brings me back to topic and I'll say I liked Zoro's voice in the dub. It wasn't horrible. Was Crocodile's voice good? I never got that far with it.

Well......I like Mihawk voice. It's better then funmation(Hell is going frezze over XD) I also like Zoro's voice, hoever I like Zoro Funimation voice my better, and that includes the voice acters....but's that's about it.

THE DIALOGUE. It makes me laugh my arse off and it crushes my soul AT THE SAME TIME. I love it. It's too horrible for words, it's hilarious.
