Well I'm from Puerto Rico and one of the most beautiful houses I've seen here, at least for me, is in Ponce... Castillo Serralles (Serralles's Castle). It's actually a house and it was constructed in the 1930's using the Spaniard colonial style. It has a wonderful garden and very big... These days the house is a museum and shows the history of the house and the family who lived there the Serralles Family, they were the founders of the Serralles's Distillery one of the finest here in Puerto Rico after the Bacardi.
Here are some photos of the time I went there... I don't have from the inside cuz they don't let you... but found some in the internet for you to see... the ones with the yellow letters in the pics are mine xd

This is the principal entrance

This is when you enter to the place....

When you enter the garden you see this wonderful tree... one of the many

This is the pool-looking fountain... and can you see the ocean far away???

Behind me a view of Ponce....

A view of the house from the garden.

The door I used to get to the balcony.

The inside courtyard... it was to keep the house fresh... and is placed in the very center of the house

The first floor... just what I could take oh the inside... sweatdrop
This are the pics I got from the internet:

An aerial view of the Castillo Serralles.

This is the foyer... this is the first part you see when you enter the house.

This was my favorite room, this is the dinning room, it was used only for especial ocasions.
The ceiling was carved in wood by hand... the estimated price of that room only is over the 5 millions dollars (a fact I learned in the tour)
Feel free to comment blaugh
