This is a reference thread, for convenience sake, and to avoid confusion.
Here you will be able to find descriptions of each world as the information comes at us. We, the players, have a large say in what a world will look like. In other words, if you say there's a beach on Kleides, not too far from civilization, then by golly, there's a beach on Kleides not too far from civilization. I will add that information as it's RPed.
Help with this would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM me, or just put a post in the thread if you see something that needs to be added, or something out of place. ^_^

:: Intro :: World List :: World Summaries :: Travel ::A word on worlds. Several of the worlds from the game can no longer be included in the list. Something about Kingdom Hearts being sealed and the worlds returning to the way they were. I think it was two worlds that don't exist anymore, but I'll ask Sory to be sure. Soryuju Ryutetsin ...it's Traverse Town and The End of the World, since both of those worlds were just created from the left over pieces of destroyed worlds. When KH was sealed, all the worlds were restored, so there were no left over pieces for those two worlds to exist. Also, we have several new worlds, direct from our own imaginations. Anyone can create a new world. Known Worlds:Original worlds will be near the bottom of the list in blue font. The Creator's (and, hence, copyright owner) name will be beside it, underlined. If you want permission to use that world, you must ask that person! If there is no name beside an Original World, please PM Soryuju Ryutetsin for details.
Worlds with a ° are worlds that exist within the Realm of Darkness and have special circumstances to enter/live on. :: Intro :: World List :: World Summaries :: Travel ::This post is a summary of all the Original Hub Worlds (aka, Kleides) and all the Disney/FF World updates (aka, Wonderland -> Dark Wonderland, etc). Under Construction When this list gets too long to conveniently scroll through, there is a method to find what world you're looking for without going through the whole thing. Simply press and hold CTRL and F on the keyboard. A box ought to pop up. You can type whatever word you want into there, world names, anything, and it will find it for you. ^^ I'll still add a link-thingamajig to the world list in the previous post, but I until I do there's always CTRL + F This will be updated on a "What we know" and/or "What we make up" basis. So far, what I know is what I've experienced myself with my character Mina. As I have mentioned, I wasn't here for VU from the beginning. If you see something that needs adding, just point it out. Port Royal, for example, is one place I did not visit. But I will be reading those posts (maybe...eventually...perhaps) and add things as I find them. The worlds are what we make of them. _______________________________________________________ KleidesAn artificially created world. Based off of Rome. Think of Kleides as Rome in an modern-era Earth. Any semi-futuristic technology must be approved by Soryuju Ryutetsin or Pie Thrower. Places of importance include: The High Temple - All buildings in the city are made to face this one building. It is the resting place of Sora himself. There is more than one entrance to this building, it being open on all sides. There are statues "in front" of it. One of them includes the trinity of Sora, Donald, and Goofy. It is a massive statue, and the building itself is quite large. The Legion of Lightbearers Headquarters (AKA, Legion HQ) - A massive building. Upon walking in, one would find the Lobby, a large area, with a reception desk. Characters can sign up for the Legion here, and it will be noticed, if not acted upon right away. The receptionist is a lady; only designated Mods may role play her. A note on the Legion HQ Lobby: Quote: The building stood, clean as white, tall and above whatever barracks would seem to be. Towering pillars had supported the arch of the entryway, ornated in the most grandest of fashions. The walkway was wider, and before the main lobby stood the statues of the heroes, warriors who fought the darkness ages ago even before his father was born. He walked into the lobby, and looked around. It was a huge hall of white marble floor, a high ceiling which was white, too. The crowd, though scattered over the looby, was a mix of civilian, business types, perky, and warriors alike. A motley crew at a not so random place. At the end of the Lobby Hall was a semi-circular desk connected to the wall. He had taken the liberty to walk right to the counter and ask for some direction, as he had none whatsoever. There are various guides in the Legion, like ones you might find at a mall, guiding you where to go. Maps. There are Sleeping Quarters in the Legion HQ. They are generally modest, but comfortable. Think hotel. This, along with pretty much everything else, can be altered. (They're more like guidelines, really) The Training Arena is also inside of the Legion HQ. It is huge. Think Olympic Coliseum. Inside this arena are testing dummies that can be turned on by a panel in the wall, wherein lives a fat chipmunk who refuses to work during lunch. Aaaand I forgot his name. Funny, seeing as I created him. *shrugs* Oh, well. He was meant to be a descendant of Chip or Dale. Once turned on the testing dummies appear as...yet to be decided. They've never been turned on. My thought was they (whatever they are) appear by magic. Like the barrels Sora used to beat up in the colliseum, and then magically appeared next time you wanted to train. There's no way Phil could have that many barrels at his disposal without magic. Seriously. As well, a Legionnaire Med Bay exists. While anyone has access to the ground floor, which is similar to your walk-in clinic/ER room, only those with high-level clearance have access to the basement levels. A Beach - Not far from the Legion Headquarters is a beach. It's...beachy. ??? Forest - Outside the city of Kleides is a lush forest. It's not uncommon to run across a cave or two while traveling here. Some good Rome pictures. Not necessarily what Kleides looks like, but inspirational, nonetheless. Just add technology here and there, imagine it a tad bit more modern, and you have it. Gummi ships are common place. This is set several hundred years in the future, so it should come as no surprise. Some worlds may still be behind in their technology, but otherwise, there are quite a few "Gummi Routes" for civilian travel, trade, etc. Most of the worlds are connected via these routes.
However, Heartless ships may show up and block some of those paths, making civilian travel impractical without an armed escort...or even with an armed escort. I will make note of them here.
Heartless Ship Updates:
Wonderland has become Dark Wonderland. It is surrounded by darkness and numerous Heartless ships. Danger zone: Extreme
Interesting notes:
Concerning dark portals.
Yen Sid: The Heartless and the Nobodies will be using their own paths: Corridors of darkness, to travel from world to world. They may be attempting to link these dark pathways to the gates between the worlds.
That's a quote from Kingdom Hearts II. Dark portals lead to corridors of darkness. Corridors of darkness don't simply supply access to anywhere. They must be connected, linked. "Opened" if you will. The corridors may already exist, but the power to open a portal anywhere along them must be earned. And some places are just taboo. For example, you couldn't open a portal of darkness in the headquarters of Kleides, or next to the Cornerstone of Light in Disney Castle. To avoid godmodding, I would consult Sory before using any dark portals.
I always figured that if Heartless started appearing on a world, at least one of the corridors leading to that world was opened. That gateway would be opened, and users of darkness could travel along it, if they possessed that ability.
Take it with a grain of salt, though. I could be wrong.

I was gonna go through every VU profile tomorrow and make a list of the original homeworlds that I find. Off the top of my head, both your character and Sory's (Soryuju, that is, not the hundreds of others he also controls xD) have original homeworlds not found in Kingdom Hearts. I'm sure there are others, too.
Edit: I just caught this. The dead carcass of Monstro. xD That would be great. It would be like a land mark (space mark?) that ships had to sail around. "Don't hit the dead whale, guys!"
Or, better yet, a zombie Monstro! Wouldn't that be freaky. O_O

Dude yes...that wouls be quite interesting! Zoooombie monstro and inside zombie heartless/nobodies...
So I've been thinking and we need to pick things up in VU and make it more interesting. So I think I'm going to make a new character. I'm gonna have to think it all over, but I think my new character is gonna be a tad bit evil...heheh
And I was also thinking. Since this is lotsa years after FG/SG, how about we have the decendants of Disney characters as....characters. I dunno just a thought. I got lotsa thoughts about VU but that's just one of many

You know, I was thinking the same thing. I mean, why isn't a smexy decendant of Riku around? Seriously. I think decendants of characters like that are taken by the Higher Powers as part of a master plan, or something. Akakios, for instance, is the decendant of Sora, and he's the leader of the Legion. And Darten is the decendant of Yuffie. So they do exist.
Oh! You mean Disney characters. ninja Like Mina. ninja ninja ninja <---That's a lot of ninjas. No, seriously, like Donald? Goofy? Princess Jasmine? Like that? They gotta have had kids. That would be...awesome.
